Tangwena's Malawi-Style Cob Cure: Fermented Cannabis

Hey everyone, just though I would drop some pics of my first Cob... Ace Panama
These pics are just after its week in ferment, no moisture so I vacuum sealed it back up and put it back in the Cob-A-Tron at 30c for more ferment... I wanna see if I can get it nice and gold. If my approach is wrong please let me know...
I plan to do the ferment, and open once weekly to check it, for another 4 weeks or so then in to a jar for cure...

Got mine in for the cure this morning. Pulled it out to dry for a bit over 4 hrs. The jerky smell is very strong now. Sealed it back up loose in a sterilized jar. Feels a little rubbery. Will check on it in a few days.

...You have any Bovedas to stick one in the jar Jim, or a small hygrometer...makes things easier...cheerz...h00k...:rollit::passitleft:

So heres my White Widow cobs. Harvested Saturday and made the cobs Sunday. They are sweating hard at 20 hours @ 104 degrees. I'll open them at 24 hours this evening and dry the corn husks off and reseal the cobs. BUT...Do I repeat this process at 104 degrees until theres no more sweating or do I go straight to curing after I reseal them tonight?
.

I've had them that moist. I've cobbed at harvest, and they're dripping wet coming out of the sweat. I simply surface dried and tossed them into fermentation, leaving them for the entire week. It won't hurt to keep an eye on them, but the vacuum seal will keep everything under control.

You get more intensity starting with wetter buds. I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised in a few months Scrogdawg.

Speaking of which..... my Carnival cobs are at the three-month mark, and I keep hearing Neiko explain that his lovely wife chews Carnival pieces of about 0.2 grams to help her feel "normal." Today I cut off a 0.2 g piece and chewed away.

And got crazy high. I had moments where I would come to a dead stop for a few moments and simply drifted off. Lol! I'm gonna give it another go tomorrow.

That's great Sue, I haven't eaten any in a couple months now. Not since I was blindsided by the Malawi x Panama Cob. It was fun but I just don't have the time to be tripping balls for 8 hours every weekend. I'll try it again here soon. The wife is now chewing the cannatonic cob. We haven't even looked at the Carnival cob in a month or so. I did notice the last time I pulled it out that it had a kind of reflective coating on it now like a sugar crust. I may have to give that another go this weekend.

I tried an experiment for the hell of it. I swear a bunch of stems and branches, some with popcorn buds, some without and while I’m taking them to the ferment stage and have no major expectation of anything I tried chewing some and so far have an extremely mild heady high. I’m looking to maximize the use of my plants in every way that I can. I’ll let you guys know but so far it doesn’t seem like a complete waste and they do achieve that golden brown color as well. I’ll keep everyone posted

Of course.... I'm still learning, watching all get their cob's going. I'm cooking brix so I have some time to go before I can join the " cobbing club ". There is no doubt in my ex military mind it's in this Rooster's near future....

Rooster, did you hear I’m moving to New Orleans next month to rent from Tead? You travel through there, don’t you?
