Tangwena's Malawi-Style Cob Cure: Fermented Cannabis

I Like it, and working in the restaurant industry I happen to have one of these coolers I use for dry ice when making extracts.
If you don't mind I believe I will copy what you did.
BTW, how long did you let the Panama go before harvest?
Don’t mind one bit OL, just threw this together based on @JustMeds design. But I wanted mine permanent, I believe he did his the way he did because he wanted to be able to use some of that stuff for other projects if need be.

That Panama went almost 12 weeks, one day shy. But that was my call because I started getting nanners. Your mileage may vary!

I'll say this guys. I'm learning in winter it's hard to keep the temps up, is it hard to keep the temps down in summer up there? Just thinking about the changes in cobbing environment depending on the season

@JustMeds cobatron is the answer for that.
He used a Ste-1000 controller that maintain temps within 2 degrees if I recall correctly.
I personally like how @dajerm119 mounted the ste-1000 into the cooler, so I am going to copy that.

Just can't sit on the sidelines any longer. This is a harvest of some Blue Dream from 3/1/18. It was airdried for 24 hours and then sealed and has lived in the freezer since. I honestly hold little hope of success because of the age but at least I'll have the experience of the process. A small ray of hope afforded by the fact the stems are still pliable and don't break but bend quite tightly. We'll see!

20 grams of Blue Dream tightly compressed into a 1.25" X 3.5" plug. Compression tool fabricated from 1.5" pvc tail shaft from a kitchen sink (unused) and a spindle from my woodworking shop. Perfect fit! Thanx @JustMeds.

I've recently seen pros and cons on using corn husks. Ironically, the wife just bought some fresh corn this morning so got em use em! They were still quite moist so perhaps they'll transfer some to the cannabis.

Sealed and ready for the sweat box........
