DAY #30 OF 12/12 PIC DUMP

The two Platinum Kush Breath in the small tent have now received both CAT drenches and just got a GE today.

They're looking great and starting to smell great, too! :yummy:

Here's today's pic dump:

Happy Harvests!

I’d have to go back and check, but I can’t remember having already given all those drenches 30 days in. I wonder if I’m waiting too long between feedings in flower? I’ve found myself hoping I could even get to the growth drench following the Cats. The Chemdog is probably an outlier because I did the rescue drench. That threw the whole schedule off.

This PKB looks magnificent Mr K! That’s one I always see amazing pics of on IG.

I'm sure I could have waited another 7-10 days before the CATs; and I've noticed the kit growers vary on when they give the CATs. I've basically settled at just after three weeks, or so, in flower, and time it for when they're due for their next drench.

First two weeks of 12/12 is basically the stretch and by the third week, the buds are set. At this point, the pots need watering something like every five days. If you wait, for example, until 45 days of flower to do the first CAT, which is basically what I did on my first kit grow, the second CAT drench doesn't get done until 55 days in, at which point, you're about two weeks from harvest already.

In this case, the pots went dry right around day #21 and I had to decide whether I wanted to wait another five days before doing the CATS and just decided to get them in early, but I easily could have waited, too.

I was planning on giving a third CAT drench late into flower on the last grow, which I never did, so I may give it a shot on this grow. :hmmmm:

I don't know but they way I'd explain my personal "behavior" on watering is that in veg, If I know she's gonna need watering in the next 12 hours, or so, based on weight of the container (I try not to wait for signs of wilting!) I'll feed them today.

In flower, if I think I can probably wait until tomorrow, I'll feed them today. ;)

Thanks for giving me some insight into how you were thinking about the Cat drenches as they approached. I appreciate that kind of info. I try to make sure the way I’m thinking about things lines up with you guys. Lol

DAY #32 FOR THE PKB'S - GETTING FAT & FROSTY!

Today is days #32 of 12/12 for the Platinum Kush Breath and the colas are starting to fatten up while showing absolutely ridiculous trichome development. I can't wait to start taking samples of these girls! :yummy:

Hey, Brother! Great to see you back! How was the honeymoon? I'll be over to your journal in a few and get sub'd up! :high-five:

So....:roorrip:....Yesterday was a pretty normal day for me....:bong:....I was just doing some cruising on the forums....:hookah:....and not really sure what happened.....:bongrip: .....but, I accidentally deleted all my subscriptions! :lot-o-toke:

I think I've already re-subscribed to most of the current ones I was following but if any of you don't at least see me throwing some "Likes", or somehow, in my boneheadedness I never was sub'd to your journals ( :sorry: ), please let me know and I'll get "back in the game"!

:thanks:

BREEDING CABINET UPDATE

It's pretty unbelievable, but both Apricot Jelly, both Zephyrus, and the one Black Cherry Jelly all turned out to be male! This is exactly why I don't play the lottery!

So, while I have plenty of males right now to use for pollen, I really don't want to take up all the room in the veg cabinet with all these males, so I'm gonna need to figure out some plan there.

The two Trainwrecks were the only reg seedlings I had popped that haven't been sexed, yet, and I culled TW #1 simply because it wasn't that healthy and, while it would have been easy to save, again, I didn't want to take up the space and/or start breeding a plant that wasn't sturdy.

Trainwreck #2 does look really nice, so I took two clones, trimmed it up, and put it in the breeding cabinet with the two female '79 Christmas Bud plants to see what shows up. If, by some chance, it's also male, it will be culled from the breeding cabinet since it's still too early to have pollen floating around the house with the PKB's midway into flower in the small tent and just about to flip the sponsored grow in the main tent.

It's now been 22 days of 12/12 for the two female 79XB's (#1 & #2) and #2 is definitely healthier & better structure (in addition to not being the "mottled" pheno") and would be the preferred Mom to breed with assuming the pine terps and good effects show up. I can just start to pick up the pine smell on both but it's too early to tell any notable difference.

Here is 79XB #1:
