Taking My Chances With The Devil: Dark Devil Auto & Devil's Crack Auto

These were in a Monopoly box top for over two weeks. They've been in this small jewelry box for almost 2 weeks. I shake this box twice a day to stir up the seeds. I'm sure they're dry, but heck it's not hurting anything having them on my dresser in this box.

Things like this everybody does stuff differently. Whatever works for you is the best method.

Tent is looking sort of empty after DDA#1 departed. I did a little rearranging to make best use of the light.

I removed a few dead leaves from SSDC last night. She is getting very frosty and smells amazing.

Red Point x unknown is stretching to beat all hell. My transplant ended up going so well that as of last night I super cropped her for the second time. Roots are coming out the bottom of the new pot after about a week. A boy does she stink.

DDA#2 is beginning to stretch out a lot as well. Flowers are purple and are beginning to proliferate.

The NL cross babies are doing their seedling thing, not much to report other than healthy

Also just took a couple puffs of a small bud of DDA#1... damn tasty. The buzz was quick and very relaxing. The flavor is like mild incense and ripe berries, very exotic and unlike anything else I have tasted.

Edited to add, really helps with inflammation on my wife's freshly broken leg. Two puffs slowed the throbbing, a joint stopped it..

That Red Point looks like an untamed octopus.

I counted 6 tops. She started flowering 5 weeks ago if my math is correct. Usually supercropping slows the stretch down. But this gal is determined to be a light hog. I really enjoy growing the lanky beasts though... imagining one in my 1 gallon gravel hempy is scary stuff

Not a lot to update. But it has been a few days...

SSDC is doing great compared to what she did look like. Very happy she made a comeback. Beautiful colors

DDA# 2 is apparently still stretching. Dark purple bleeding from the lil bud sites and into the leaves. Starting to get stinky..

The Red Point x Unknown is a freaking monster. Supercropped her again today. Trying to slow her down but to no avail. Based on the square footage she is taking up, I would really be happy if she quit stretching..

Sensi NL x GG#4 seems wimpy in the stem??? Sensi NL x Nirvana NL IBL is very robust. Stem is much thicker and overall appears to be happy.

Effed around tonight. Drank a couple cold ones and sterilized the rocks from DDA#1. 375° for 1-1 1/2hours... now, what strain is next up???? Thinking about some 20oz hempys with the first mature seeds that I plucked from DDA# 1.

Edited to add:

I never re checked the ph of my feed after switching everything up. Plants are doing excellent. Scared to start chasing ph all over the place. In a 59OZ juice jug I mix 1/4 to just under 1/2tsp Maxibloom and 2 caps full of h2o2 with straight tap water and feed

So what happens with those sativas if you were to top them and do some LST with them?

I had this plant out today for a nanner check-up and all was good. She finishes week 10 of flowering on Sunday. The alcohol bottle is to show scale.

She is pretty... nice job.

I imagine that lst would work great. The one I have going now was topped very early, never missed a beat. I was hoping she would stay short like some of my others did with an early topping, but that wasn't the case.. enter my favorite, supercropping. Again, I normally only have to do this once or twice. However this gal seemed to need it once or twice a week.

I suppose I would do lst if I had more time to tend my garden. I will snap a nice solo shot of her before I upload my photos for the day... keeping her canopy even is an uphill battle.

Ugh, up late playing video games and drinking long island ice tea... a rare occurrence in my world indeed

Quick shots before bedtime

I wonder if a support would help that GG#4 cross plant? A lot of times I'll just pack a little soil up around it about halfway up the stalk. I use those little muffin fans on the babies from a very young age to beef up their stems.

Yeah, with her being so spindly I normally would have already piled up some gravel around her. Next on my list... Been incredibly busy. Hopefully next week moves a little slower so I have more tent time.

I won't be supercropping my sativa for awhile now. Starting to look exhausted and she is kicking out some nice tiny flowers. I don't want to overdo anything. But as today's pic shows, she hasn't stopped stretching at all...

DDA# 2 is even darker at this stage of life than her sister (#1) was. The leaf stain appears nearly black from certain angles. The 40 oz hempy seems to be a fine size for her. My neighbor who doesn't like autoflowers says this stuff is talkin' weed. Lol

SSDC appears to be starting to swell up her buds. A few more orange hairs daily. Weird thing is that she has mostly cloudy trichomes and yet seems far from ripe. She smells soooooo freaking good. I know she will definitely deliver on quality.

The Sensi NL x Nirvana NL IBL is a stout little plant. That stem is beastly for a seedling.

The Sensi NL x Nirvana NL IBL cross.........those were the mega sized seeds? It will be fun seeing what she turns into.

Red Point x Unknown is unstoppable. Droopy yesterday and looking stressed, today perked up and looking stretched. Cant get the two apicals to even out with the two lower branches. Guess I will drop her down from her perch and hope she finishes stretching soon. They are a pain in the rear, but these sativas are super fun to grow.

My Hawaiian sativa finishes it's 10th week of flowering tomorrow. My guess it that it will run 13-14 weeks total. The buds are very dense but I'm not thinking it's going to be a very big producer.

Beez I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised on your haul.

Those flowers just getting fatter and fatter and more dense!

Hey GG don't mind me, I'm just an crotchety old timer. Continue with your "flush" if its working for ya.

I don't employ any fancy drying and curing techniques. It's not so much a flush of nutrients as it is a way to make the chlorophyll break down. The plant eats itself and my buds that dry in about 3-5 days smoke very smooth. Maybe I shouldn't call it a flush so much as a forced auto-cannibalism (sounds like an episode of criminal minds, hmm)
