You got me over here drooling on my phone lol!! I just started using MegaCrop to, and started at 1/4tsp per 1gal of h20 on my younger veg girls. They seem to love it, and it took my ph from close to 8.0 to 6.2-6.5 (I use well water).

Planting 6 seeds this evening. 3 Purple Afghani x BCBD Purps, 2 Punto Rojo x Unknown, and 1 Sensi NL x Nirvana NL IBL.
Started to try something different with nutes. After making and feeding an entire gallon of Mega-Crop @1/4tsp per gallon I observed my least healthy plant improve greatly.
From this point on I will feed 1/2 tsp per gallon Mega-Crop per gallon until plants show sex. After that they will have Mega-Crop dropped to 1/4tsp per gallon and I will add 1/2 tsp of Maxibloom per gallon. Then of course the obligatory flush for a week to 10 days before harvest. That's the plan anyway... didnt want to step out of my comfort zone but that damn NL gal was suffering something fierce and those seeds are definitely finite in quantity. If I have any real problems I will just ditch the MC and go back to the simple life of Maxibloom.

It is hard to say at this point. Once I start getting closer to harvest time on a few seedlings I hope to be able to see some kind of difference in yield. I'm sure it doesn't hurt me any, though.
As for the potting methods... I hate to go buy a perfectly good garbage can or bucket and stab a hole in it. Coffee cans are a never ending resource around here. The rockwool, I was just playing around but it is possible that I might like the stuff. The verdict is still out on the lava rock, but I haven't noticed any problems. And as far as multiple plants per hempy.... I figured what the hell, I grow smaller plants anyways.

Hopefully you don't mind me sharing. Here's my little garden. One bag seed, few 9lb hammer's and a 24k. The hammer in front center is starting to take off. Soon as I get clones I'll flip them. Also in the back is some of the wife's erbs. I think a tyme and a basil. She buys fresh cut cooking erbs and I dipped them in clonex and stuck in dirt. I think they are taking root

One of the two seeds I mixed up showed sex yesterday (girl). Today I fed the plants twice each.
My bigger flowering girls are loving their new feed very much so. That sickly NL mini bush in the back is really starting to look healthy. Seems like I always have at least one slow poke... that is where my method of feeding every cultivar the same thing gets me into trouble. Poor gal was likely starving to death.
Something I haven't journaling about is my Devil's Pitchfork F2 test seeds. I planted 6 awhile back, two are alive and are likely not autoflowering phenos. They have been living in a box in my kitchen under a 23 watt CFL with a simple bowl reflector for about 3 weeks. I am going to leave them where they are for another couple weeks to be sure they dont start flowering and then they get sent to the flower tent or tossed, depending on if I think they will be worth the space. Either way, in about 2 weeks I will be starting 6 more so I can stay on the hunt.
Ordered some Bubble bags, set of 5 5gallon size all mesh bags.. time to clean out all of the random trimmings I have stuffed in my freezer. I've never made water hash. Made BHO, lots of Rosin, and once I made iso-hash. I absolutely love hash and my wife must love me because she got me Bubble bags and a pax pod oil vaporizer, I got her a new percolating nectar collector and a stun gun for valentine's day. The key now is to get good enough at making hash to make full melt for dabbing.
Now that I have rambled, I guess I have a few things going on. Lol. Very excited to make some more damn seeds too. I haven't found any reason not to do just that... plus with 6 Purple Afghani x BCBD Purps seeds cracked, I am obligated to follow through, lol. Hoping to find two strong males to be the donors, pollinate all of the females, every cultivar that will live long enough to produce ripe seeds is getting dusted.... now just have to wait for their nuts to drop..

Ewww weee I just hung my QB's. These bastards are bright! I'm kinda regretting getting 4k's tho. Should have gotten 3's but I couldn't resist the price for the 4's. Seems the 3 boards I have light up my 32"x48"x60" pretty good

The deals on those boards couldn't be ignored, I know... i imagine you plan to have a veg period before you switch to 12/12, my plants stay under an 11/13 light cycle from the day they are planted. My tiny plants are a problem that likely wont transfer to your world. If I took the time to veg, I would have bigger plants.
I'm just talking to the wife about 4k boards. I wanted to maybe blame the spectrum for some of my plant size issues. Looking at pics from the last Punto Rojo x Unknown harvest and I got feeling down. The last one stretched forever, this one just plain quit. Last one was grown under these same boards though.
In closing, those boards are going to grow you some beauties. In my world all plants are fed the same low nitrogen ferts, the recieve only 11hrs of light during their genetic 3-4 week veg time, the 4000k light does not promote stretching, and I use small pots... all of these facts together equal small plants.

I got 20$ into the fixture. 2 sticks of angle from TSC and some hardware. As far as your plants being small. It's all good brother. Your little plants are gorgeous! I'll take a Quality little plant over a huge mediocre one any day

Maybe I am just down because I let my tent empty out. Not a bad thing, really easy to clean after that full on hermie scare, could have been a disaster. Pretty soon the tent will be full again and I will be complaining that I need more space. Lol, viscous cycle. Just got done talking to the wife about more light in a bigger tent. I think that a total of 6 boards in a 4x4 would be freaking fantastic, damn near overkill, 4 would be more than sufficient.

Update for my own records. Punto Rojo x (Mazar x Guerrero), Sensi NL, and Sensi NL x DDA, are all 7 weeks old from seed.
NL has quite a few rusty spots and is super short. She drooped up until about a week ago when I added Mega-Crop to the feed. Still pretty sickly though. I notice her buds are chunking up now. Hoping I dont have to worry about bud mold when she swells... very full little plant. Not much in the way of odor. I fully expect her to be finished in about 4 weeks.
Punto Rojo x (Mazar x Guerrero) is chugging along at the speed of sativa. Nice spicy scent. Thinking she could end up being a frost monster. Her structure is just beautiful to me, very unique with those tri-nodes. These Punto Rojo crosses are super strong plants and my favorite to grow so far. I am going to guess she will be finished in 6-8 we weeks.
Sensi NL x DDA is a small gal. She had many similar ailments to her cousin, the aforementioned Sensi NL. She also perked up when I added Mega-Crop. She is currently a very thirsty/hungry gal. Smells kind of like standard indica buds, but there is a very spicy tone and a slight odor of dark berry. Estimate 4 more weeks til harvest if she keeps chunking up at this rate. Finally getting her purple.
Took out the Mars light today. She was actually making me have less space for plants. Since her useable footprint is so small, she is only good for one plant. Centered my boards and cranked them up... I was wasting almost 1/4 of my available floor space.
The Mars300 has a couple of burnt diodes already. Figure I need to do something with it, so... I built a space bucket out of a junk garbage can, some cardboard, and duct tape. In this set up i worry about too much light, and that is without reflective walls. Might be good for a couple of small autos or a single big one with some training. I think she would fry seedlings/fresh cut clones. I will put my SSDC or my 2 Devil's Pitchfork F2s in there for the initial trial run.
The cardboard box in the kitchen has proved itself worth something at least. Still has two living plants. Lol. Add a lil fan and I could add 3 more bulbs for 92 CFL watts per square foot, lol. Ridiculous rambling.

Her flowering time is 45-55 days and a strain you don't want to go past 50% clear and 50% cloudy
The Sensi NL X DDA is what I am growing in the 2 liter bottles.
Just one of the 6 is starting to show some purple color but they all have a floral aroma similar to the DDA. They were flowered for 3 weeks under four 35w CFL bulbs and then flipped to 11/13 So far they've been fed Mega Crop 1.0 at 6.5 grams/gal. Last week was the first application of Foxfarm's Beastie Blooms. I add that to the water every other feeding and do that until the last two weeks when I add Foxfarm's Cha Ching which is very high in phosphorus till the end
My flowering tent is a 4x4...…..I use two 260w V2 QB fixtures in 3000k in there.

Thank you. That information is priceless. I normally try to get around 90% cloudy 10% clear.
I only planted the one to see how she grew. It always feels good to have purple buds growing. I notice the DDA scent a little bit. Most of what I am getting is that earthy dark spicy odor. I hope the floral and dark berry/currant/maybe plum? scent picks up when she starts to swell. I am excited.
That is a lot of light, it treats you well too. You grow some amazing plants beez.
I am currently looking at cost effective options for a bigger DIY cob project, probably be cheaper to just go back to Dan at Timber and see what kind of old stock he has tucked away..
