Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL - LED

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

Dutty's phone died, but he will be back with another big post I'm sure.

Remember, we are all opinionated and vocal with what we believe in. Sue has graciously let us use her thread as an open forum. No need to get angry or upset or anything, just grown adults having a respectful conversation.

It's the Internet, things can be taken different than they were meant easily.

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

Me me me. Say it me it's all about me... Sorry just seemed right.

:rofl::rofl:

Take a breath guys. CO, you nailed it when you said we do this for totally different reasons. Dutty, you've worked out a method of operating that has proven itself profitable for you and yours. The nice thing about this country is both sides have valid points and applications.

I have to agree with CO here about the so-called gurus of cannabis growing. They honed their craft in a time before we could actually study the plant from a scientific basis. We're having this discussion on a medical grow thread. Much of what the gurus learned was particularly geared to the recreational market. We know much more about the values of cannabis beyond the need to get high. The field is exploding with new knowledge every day and much of what was accepted as gospel has been challenged and proven wrong.

But I feel like there is something innately wrong with destroying some of the most valuable life forms on this planet, the very critters that work so hard to grow our food for us, so we can dump chemicals in their place to do a job they were destined to do. It smacks of insanity to me. The damage this agricultural attitude has had planet-wide is a proven fact and yet we continue it in our closets and grow rooms. I'll never tell you you can't do it, but it's definitely not for me. Just sayin'.

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

I do, and will continue to. I can get way over a 1/4 pound btw. My best so far is 6 1/4 ounces. Never trying to achieve a huge yield. We are in it for completely opposite reasons. All good. You give the people what they want, as efficiently as you know how. It's the publics fault for not demanding organic product. Same thing with food. We can't get the damn anti GMO thing passed... Dumb.

way over is not 2.25oz's

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

I can't figure out how what you said here correlates with my statement. What was false? I was speaking of the pharma buying off our legislative system to gain the marketing advantage. What did I miss or what did you read in my comment that wasn't intended?

I was referring to the statement about how prohibition has caused all of the mis information I may have mislinked phone was dying

Opinionated and vocal is all good. Its the respectful component I see in jeopardy. We don't have to agree with each other, but we should still be able to treat each other with respect. Name calling is a personal attack and has no place here or anywhere on 420, IMO.

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

No need for anyone to get hot about the subject.
As was said, different needs for different folks.

I see Dutty's view and I also see Sues/COorgs.
It depends on what your goals are, Dutty's is a business, others do it for aesthetic or other reasons.

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

Ed rosenthal and Jorge Cervantes are both myth pushing hydro model salesman. I use their books for toilet paper.

This is the statement that set me off

COME THE FUCK ON

seriously is my 15 yr old nephew growing now. I do respect your methods I love all true natural approaches unlike most of you 36gr0w and massmedman know who I really am and what I do. I joined to help people not be bought or sell a product or feed false info. I thought I was being forced into well out of the industry well things have changed I still have ZERO sponsors and would except none and truly I pay my way and all my experiments as well as others I help. Some on this thread have seen how generous I can be.

That post CO is disrespectful open forums like this and the ability for a lot of people to even contemplate growing would not be possible without there literature period whether you follow there method or not its not garbage. I think that's ignorance and liberal left wing roots showing

That works for me Dutty. How boring the world would be if we all were the same.

I enjoy these conversations with you Dutty. They remind me of conversations with my son. He wads always calling out my bullshit too. :laughtwo:

Miss that boy. Wish he'd call already. Been nine months now. So wrong.

Sorry. Slipped there.

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

I believe you two can learn to speak to each other with respect. You both bring valuable things to the ongoing conversation and I'd like you both to continue to stop and join the conversation. It doesn't need to become personal. This can remain a discussion. We're not trying to baptize anyone here.

Take a breath. Both of you. You're passionate men with different views. It's what makes this forum a delight.

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

Hey Sue, weren't you using comfrey or nettle in some of your drenches? I asked Bobbrown over on his thread then remembered you might have used it. I'll be growing some and was thinking about using it.

Re: Sweetsue's Tiny Closet - Second Grow - Sweet Dark Devil & Bomb Berry Bomb - CFL -

"Hear the bells ring...." That song fills my consciousness for the entire day on Easter. The video I posted of it on my other thread is already a favorite.

If I'm standing at the front of the bus waiting to disembark still typing and make sure I finish so I can hit "post" before the bus stops, is that a sign of virtual addiction? :laughtwo::green_heart:

On my way home. Things have quieted. This appears to be as simple as putting him back on the antacid they took him off three weeks ago. One has to marvel at the medical genius of thinking a man who takes 20 different meds a day would no longer need protection for the lining of his stomach. Ugh!!! If all goes well he'll be returning to the nursing home tomorrow.

I need a serious buzz. Here comes the connecting bus. See? Still typing and trying to finish before the doors open. Addicted?

I like comfrey and make sure to use it at least once a cycle. If I were more diligent it would be after topdressing following harvest and then once more about halfway through the grow. Stinging nettle is one I haven't done, but only because I haven't found any growing yet. This year I'm thinking of buying some dried if I don't find wild. You can't beat stinging nettle.

Comfrey, dandelion, burdock, yarrow, and stinging nettle if you can get it are excellent additions to your soil. Kelp, aloe, alfalfa, malted barley grain, coconut water..... The possibilities are endless. My personal top choices are malted barley grain, aloe, comfrey.

To be honest, comfrey would be the one I would choose above all the others. Stinging nettle would be a very close second.

I agree sue, you both CAN be respectful but then i say this. There was no need to say that ed or jorge's literature is ass wiping worthy Co, you have your way of growing yes but your opinion of hyrdo is honestly disgusting. You don't know anything about it and from what i can see you have always had this "non-synthetic mind-set" which is great but it doesn't mean hydro is "force feeding" or completely synthetic. As dutty said without these guys all of us wouldn't have such a broad information bank to constantly gain knowledge from not to mention the strain they have developed. Whether YOU think its the right way of growing or not is irrelevant to how much hard work these people have put into their life and how others can learn from them. I'm not saying you or dutty are right or wrong but if you want to bad mouth people who even though have been turned into cogs, should still be praised for the knowledge they chosen to share with a lot of people. I'm not going to read more posts about how disgusting and synthetic hydro is, rant over.
