I know you said he might not be home for a few more months but a building project might be a good thing for his mental recovery when he gets home. Something to do kind of thing. I know how you feel right now. When I had my first grow harvested and cured, I thought to my self, I'll never go back to commercial stuff and then had to shut down the grow 5 years ago because of household situations. It was like losing a child. :(

I'm back now and still learning :)

I didn't get help with my first grow until it was already underway. If you have a spare moment to review my very first grow log from 10 years ago, it shows that anyone can grow with a little help from friends. :)

"Mom". I'd be ok with that. :laughtwo: I'm good at the mom thing. The biggest requirement is the ability to love without condition. Dale showering me with unconditional love for 34 years made that easy to learn. :Love:

The Internet here in the nursing home won't load that in. Check your link for me and I'll pull it up when I get home tonight. Do you have a grow going now or are you planning on starting one? Journaling? You know I'm going to encourage it.:laughtwo::green_heart:

I have just started back growing after having to shut down for years. I just chopped and trimmed my first of five AK47 girls this past Sunday. She is almost dry and will go in to jars tonight or tomorrow. I don't have to smoke schwag anymore! :)

Doc I don't use in veg and haven't experienced that too much in bloom. Are you referring to all growing cycles? I found it in my situation pointless in veg. In bloom I've seen roughly 20% increase in yield and potency started testing slightly higher.

But overall more co2 more growth. They can take up to 1500 ppm and usual rooms are around 300-400 ppm.
Once again I don't use in veg. But do in bloom

I'm an advocate. I got my co2 cost down to about 100 a month tops maybe 80 so 240 in co2 a cycle definitely pays for itself. Keep in mind I'm in an 1800cu ft bloom room 15x15 I wouldn't recommend in a tent my room is sealed and has exhausting capabilities as well. (750cfm can fan if need with scrubber)

I agree with doc in veg they get too crazy with supplemental co2 but in bloom they stretch a Lil anyhow

I use it in Bloom, not veg. 1500 PPM, except I lower it to 900 if the plants are already too large when they go in to bloom....timing isn't always perfect.

Almost exactly what I do I run around 1800 to be sure to spread 1500 around week 5 I pull back to 1200. I quit this just recently do to having two cycles 4 weeks apart sharing bloom. Otherwise I'd still do that as well.

How many lbs you go through a week doc I'm roughly 60-70

Oh miss read your post you base initial supplementation on size got ya. Do you pull back ever to save co2 or slow excess growth?

I am getting a propane tank about every 7 weeks. I don't use compressed Co2, although I'd prefer it. It's cost prohibitive.
