I like this idea. I've tried leaving small custard dishes with vinegar and they barely caught anything. The small opening make lots of sense. It would concentrate the enticing smell of the vinegar. I'll give that a try to test the effectiveness. I'll do that right now.

I haven't purchased a ventilation unit yet, but I did close up the space a bit in anticipation of my light coming and I wanted to get a sense of the humidity levels. I can feel the moisture when I open the curtain. This is acceptable.

I took newoldguy's advice and put down a small bottle with cider vinegar and Dawn. If this works I'll scatter some around the apartment. These little earthlings crawl all over me in the evening. They sure do love my mulch layers.

That's all I have this morning. I'm waiting for the light to arrive so I can dash out to Dale. He's driving me a bit nuts lately. I'm having a difficult time persuading him to take on full responsibility for his personal cleanliness. It's been long enough since the surgery that I need to back off and make him do it. I've been guilty of pandering and he's not taking my tough love approach well at all. I never was good at tough love. I sense a rough day ahead. That 's making it challenging to rush out there just to be banging heads with him. This is hard guys.

May your day be filled with joy and laughter. I know I'm going to do my best to get my day back on the joyful track. It certainly makes the day go smoother, eh? :laughtwo::green_heart:

Lighting Upgrade: Dorm Grow G8 Full Spectrum LED

WooHoo!!!! The light is here. Matthew from Dorm Grow has made my day, possibly my whole month, by getting this back to me so quickly. My heartfelt thanks to Doc for the generous donation and to Dorm Grow for setting it right and making it like new.

Hey Sweetsue....yes it's beautifull! Your gonna really like it....I have two 240w B's. I use strictly for flowering and ya they work awesome!I have them hung on either side of my main light which is a Budmaster2 ,675xg (Bid's test light a while back....R.I.P. Seth) Once again Sweetsue congrats on your great day!Remember though Sue ,no closer than 24" Cheers eh .....Duggs.:high-five:

Thanks, Sue, thanks a lot. This morning I woke up convinced I'd stay in my 4x4 a little longer, and just upgrade to a 600HID. Then, I saw your new light, looked it up, read Doc's and a few other reviews and I'm close to pulling the trigger on a 600 LED from that same company, full spectrum of course

Hey there MedMan....Do it!.....pull that trigger bud! G8 and Dorm Grow's products are quality and reliable(so far) and priced very reasonable as well.Ive got two of their 240wB's and two 90w all Red UFO's of their's I use beside my main light(Budmaster675xg) just for bloom. They run cool and seem to built quite well with no issues to report at all and if you check out my last grow of MK Ultra ,you can see what they can do! Cheers pal!:cheertwo:

I did and it paid for my shipping,, that was an estimate,, I've still got the finger on the bang switch...... thank you in advance. The thing is now,, I'm not needing that light until September,, so, will prices go down, or up????

hi sue i seen your post with gnats control , i posted there also . but i did do some research one time , this may sound bizarre but one of the best things i could find was flea collars for pets LOl :)

Depending on the active ingredients they contain, collars are efficient against fleas, ticks, mites and lice. Some collars protect pets also against mosquitoes, black flies, gnats ( = gnats, = Simuliids), midges (= Culicoides), sandflies and other flying parasites.
