SweetSue's Perpetual 3.0 - The Hempy/HB Hybrid Grow

Carn 4.4 has finished stretching. She stopped at 30 inches from the perlite with some of the strongest branches I've seen in a Carnival.

I'm ushering the Drag Queen Christmas Party high as sh*t on Carnival brownies. I'm having a great time. Cartoon theater with raunch. Does life get any better than this? :laughtwo:

Thanks for the 4:20 nod. Lol!

You having a Stoney Saturday night on your end? :passitleft:

Looking awesome sue .

Isn't she stunning Joe? :dreamy: I think she's the prettiest Carnival I've grown to this point in my cultivation career, but then I probably say that about all of them. :laughtwo: Now the real fun begins. :slide:

Froth and stacking let's grow.

Yeah love your threads, one of my secret get away places to come now and then .

A significant share from the CBD Joy thread. keltic and Dave Groomer, I was thinking of the two of you when I saw this.

I just heard about this on the radio. If anyone is treating their pets with cannabis, UC Davis is conducting a survey of pet owners/caregivers. Here is the info from the UC Davis website:

Archives | Vet Med News

Very few veterinary researchers and/or schools of veterinary medicine have conducted any significant research into the subject. The UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine is beginning to lead this charge with an anonymous survey to gather information on this topic. The data will then be used to educate the public on the growing role of these products in the pet population and potentially lead to future research.

Good morning everyone

Happy Sunday, my joyful band of cultivating companions. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

I'm ready to play with the universe. You? :battingeyelashes:

Be boldly joyful my friends. I'll be back later. :slide:

The Jamaican's been washed and stripped of the fans. She'll hang to dry for a few hours before I cut the buds into the bags for a low and slow dry.

IMG_592011.JPG

Time to get out on the river trail while there's still sunlight. :ciao:

Flipped!

Devil's Carnival 1.2 took up residence in the empty spot the Jamaican vacated.

IMG_592714.JPG

Now the game becomes keeping up with the next Jamaican as she takes over the available space under the quantum boards.

IMG_592616.JPG

DC will finish within two months time, and I may shift her into another some point to give the Jamaican all of the space in the Spa. I'm gonna play it by ear. Right this minute, as I await the charging of the iPhone before going out, I'm gonna have a second brownie and then a couple small hits to rev up the current delightful Carnival buzz. I got a nice ball of finger hash from the trimming adventure. Time to fire it up and see what it does. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I love Sundays. :slide:

OMG, that was absolutely delicious!

That came closest to tasting like the hash I remember than anything else I've tried all along. I miss hash.

Harvest: Jamaican Bag Seed (Day 138, flip + 62)

IMG_593010.JPG

She started out a hopeful Lamb's Breath, but Neiko quickly dispelled that expectation, and she became just a bag seed. A bag seed that shows promise to be the CBD-dominant sativa I'd been keeping my eye open for to fill that last slot in my personal regimen.

IMG_59118.JPG

She gifted me with beautifully colorful and fragrant buds, covered with trichomes bearing some of the healthiest caps I've ever seen.

IMG_591212.JPG

My wild child seed, brought to her ultimate conclusion as medicine for me. :battingeyelashes:  I carried these seeds back from Negril myself. I'm feeling enormous satisfaction at the moment.

Devil's Carnival 1.2 took the open slot, and not a moment too soon.

IMG_593811.JPG

Her relocation opened up the center of the veg shelf for Jamaican 1.1, already doing her part to dominate the real estate under the indoor sun.

IMG_592414.JPG

She has the weirdest way of growing. :laughtwo:

IMG_592511.JPG

In time she'll get the entire Spa area to herself. Until then she gets to veg and share lights with the rest of the girls.

I didn't save any taster buds. I prefer to let them dry proper and get my first taste in two weeks.

IMG_59409.JPG

IMG_593115.JPG

I'm expecting about 1.25 ounces dry. I'm so excited to have the next one coming up behind. :slide: In two weeks I'll get the first taste and I'll decide if the genetics are worth keeping in rotation.

Next year I'm focusing on increasing yields.

High SweetSue,

That Jamacian bud looked sensational. Very frosty. Very nice! But, then all your girls grow into pretty ladies. Here's to pretty ladies!

Well this is a momentous harvest - congratulations SweetSue . . great work with her, and all she went through.

It's such an amazing looking plant. I really want to grow some Sativas that have those sorts of structures one day.

I'll have a lovely toke to celebrate this special harvest (not even any taster buds... special indeed ;))

This has to be one of the best combinations of words I've seen in a long time!
Drag Queen Xmas party with raunchy theatrics and cartoons..... plus brownies. Holy crap lady, you're just swimming in fun shit lately! This little gig has really worked out well it seems.

Amy, I recommend Carnival by Ministry of Cannabis. Easy to grow under any conditions, with strong branches to support the bulky buds. It's by far the finest sativa I've grown, and the chemovar responds well to training, so it's easy to keep under control in smaller spaces.

As for the euphoric effect.... let me put it like this: I have an enviable selection of fine sativas to choose from, some not available anywhere else in the world, but my favorite of all is still the Carnival, for the sustained stratospheric clarity and total lack of crash. Some of what I've been smoking lately has reinforced the value of having no crash. :laughtwo:

Ya know... We were having the last pizza party of this year for the volunteers while the second part of the show was underway, and as I sat cross-legged on the floor of the Victorian-era library reading room, enjoying the laughter and comradrey of my new friends I was thinking this was one of the smartest moves I've made in a long time.

Next up is the Christmas party for the volunteers, a sit-down catered event in the fitness club, scheduled for December 8, my birthday. :battingeyelashes: Next show isn't until the end of January, when Paula Poundstone comes to town. I'm cultured up to my eyeballs. Lol!

Good afternoon everyone

Before I forget, Oldbear has put together a spreadsheet for calculating the doses of an infused oil. We have permission from the mods to share with the membership.

Enjoy. :hugs:

Hi all

The link takes you to a sheet which people can use to:

- enter the strain profile for up to 3 strains
- enter the volume of herb and volume of oil for your recipe for each of them
- calculates total cannabinoid load for the batch
- calculates cannabinoid content in mg/ml of each oil

- it is setup to allow you to create 3 different blends of oil using whatever volumes of each oil you want to experiment with
- calculates total cannabinoids in the blend
- calculates the cannabinoid profile of a dose based on whatever volume in ml you want the dose to be

- its based on an extraction efficiency of 85% but that is something you can change for each strain/method

- for now its read only because I want to test a couple of things including making sure the mods are ok with it. I want to set it up so anyone can download a copy and amend it from there, without changing the master sheet.

That development was in response to the desperate cry for help from the stressed-out father of a young seizure patient with autism, looking for a better life for his beloved child. The instant and sustained response to this man's challenge was a thing of wonder to be part of, and made me so glad that I opened the study hall. This was one of those moments that made me so proud to be part of theis community I nearly burst! :laughtwo:

Today, before I started drenches I took time to volunteer for the first time at the local food bank. Stepping further out into the community. It took me more than two years from his death to start reaching out and giving back. I came home today with a new sense of satisfaction. I've lived here for almost 12 years, but I kept pretty much close to home, taking care of Dale. It's almost like I'm new to the neighborhood, except I already know them all from my years working at the local Dollar General. Lol!

I'll get nice and settled, turn around to run right into the next man I'll outlive, and end up moving away. :laughtwo: We all know this is where this is going. Lol! For now I'm having a really good time getting to know the neighbors a little more intimately. A lotta names to remember. I used to be better at that when we had the tattoo studio.

On topic joy: Carnival 4.4 (Day 100, flip + 20)

When I took her out of the tent to drench the daughter was here. Her response was "Holy Sh*t!!"

I agree. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Isn't is a wonderful day? It's sunny and bright in my corner of paradise, so I'm heading out for a walk to the store. I forgot to pick up brownie mix for the daughter's Candy Cane brownies. Which reminds me.... time to drop a new seed for Candy Cane. I didn't clone 3.1, hoping the daughter'd take a liking to another of the available chemovars, but alas, that's not to be. She has a strong preference for Candy Cane, and we're still weeks from another harvest.

This next year I'm pinning down the regular schedule and getting ruthless about not starting any new until there's a space for it. No more hanging around waiting to flower. There are chemovars that are in constant rotation, and everything else has to take a back seat to the base meds of Carnival, CBD Critical Cure, and Candy Cane.

Too many chemovars, too little time. :laughtwo: Someday I'll have rooms to grow in. :slide:

Alright my friends. Today is the day we're having our Thanksgiving dinner, so I'll be tied up for the rest of the day cooking. Be boldly joyful as you maneuver through your day. Watch the universe bring you more surprises to delight you and increase that joy. I'm having fun. You? :battingeyelashes:

From other posts of yours I was inspired to order Carnival from Seedman which just arrived safe and sound! Holding them until the Spring and then letting them grow to whatever size they desire in the GH.

:yahoo: Another intrigued member about to discover why those of us lucky enough to grow it are so passionate about this chemovar. I do hope you plan to share the joy at the community thread. :battingeyelashes:

Good morning everyone

Two days under 12/12 and Devil's Carnival 1.2 is wasting no time. :slide: I just love that lime green color change that precedes bloom, don't you? Makes my heart beat faster. Lol!

IMG_59627.JPG

The sheer size of her leaves still surprises me.

IMG_59649.JPG

Look Jim..... isn't she the most beautiful thing? :laughtwo: You have no idea how much it pleases me to be growing one of the seeds you made. :kisstwo:

IMG_596511.JPG

I'm headed to physical therapy with the daughter today, an unexpected journey. Seems I'm still her safest safe person. :battingeyelashes: It can be challenging for her to have so much personal interaction with relative strangers, especially with all the touching involved. She had me laughing yesterday with her description of their "happy" demeanor. I mean, does she know who her mother is? She tells me my joy is more authentic. Lol!

One of these days we'll get the fine-tuning on her regimen ironed out and she won't need a safe person to venture into the world. We can see progress, but is it ever fast enough for us? :laughtwo: Patiently letting the cannabinoids do their work over time is the hardest adjustment. Not having to worry about side effects keeps us pressing on.

This'll give me the chance to look the facility over. I've some issues myself, residual things lingering from the physical stress of caring for Dale that I've never completely healed from. Callanetics keeps things from slipping into pain, but I can feel there're things out of track in the upper back. If I change insurance carriers I can schedule my visits with hers.

Time to get the day going. Callanetics is already completed and the stomach just told me to get breakfast going. I'll be checking in on the threads, so maybe we'll run into each other in the yards. So get out there and share this joy we create so effortlessly around these virtual streets. Make the universe shine.

I'll do my best to keep up over here by the Mighyt Mon. :ciao:
