Well the Yuma checkpoints are no joke!!!! Plea as e dont take the 8 and have anything!!!!
 
I can tell you some horror stories about my checkpoint experiences.

If you take the I10 there is no checkpoint la to Phoenix. But diego to Phoenix there is. Let me remind you these are feds. Not state cops. Please be safe. I've been stopped and harassed for hours with no cannabis at all. They dropped my laptop intentionally to rattle me. They threatened to send me back to Yuma for "weed flakes" in the cup holder. Sorry but it was Palo Verde leaves from the sun roof. But hey what a little unwarrneted harrasment to some college kids.

"Just tell me where the drugs are and this will go much easier"

Phuck that. Sorry I still get really heated just thinking about that day....

I'm like officer my gf lives in Sandiego we go to school in Tucson I drive this route all the time. I know there are 3... yes count them 3 checkpoints.... really I wanted to be like dude If I was running weight I know to take the ten and flip him the bird.

That being said I bit my tounge apologized, and dusted off my scuffed lap top.

Perks of our awesome laws! met plenty of people doing more time than murderers for pot. so so sad.

I’ve already let it all go except the Blue Dream capsule in my hand. :battingeyelashes: I’ll take that before I reach the border or ditch it too.
 
Okay I just would hate for something to happen to our beloved Sue! Travel safely and enjoy the desert!!!

Good news is I think one day I will be able to drive that route and never fret about having my meds.

I have the distinct advantage of having Chris Scorpio at the other end of this journey. Things always work out for me, just the way things always work out for anyone who allows it to happen. :battingeyelashes:

I’m relaxed and enjoying my favorite playlist of sappy love songs as I wait for the capsule to kick in. Lol!

Just cleared the first checkpoint. Uniformed guards and a lively German Shepherd looking a bit too excited at the prospect of work on a slow Saturday night.

We got waved right through.

Geez.....this madness needs to stop. This is America, right?
 
Oh yeah....took that second capsule, so the only cannabis in the car is in me. :battingeyelashes: Time to kick back and enjoy the buzz. :slide:

I'll tell ya a scary check point or least use to be,,, Las Cruces NM. Them suckers got downright nosey. But then that is one of the big crossing points... Hope your having a Good time Sue....

I down a pot to start my day. Sometime I brew pot #2 later in the day.... then smoke a bunch and have this mellow twitch going.

She knows I went to the dispensary, but she doesn’t know about the capsules, bud, cob and brownies packaged with them and buried in my suitcase.

“I only ask because they have dogs at the border. It’s legal here, but not in Arizona.”

It won’t make it to the border. There’s no way in hell I’ll take the risk in someone else’s car, someone who has no idea I have it with me.

*sigh*

On the brighter side, it’s only a financial loss of $80. I now understand the reason I wasn’t inspired to purchase more than the two pens.

The loss of the extras hurts on a more personal level, but all of that can find its way back into my life through other visits in the future.

I choose to see this as a good thing, and I’m comfortable with the decision to let it go. It’d be nice to find a homeless guy I could hand it over to.

That's the issue with Cali, so much weed is shipping out of the state the have to crack down on it

We did the same thing coming back from Palm Springs. GF had a pipe she forgot about in her purse, it wasn't our car so we tossed it all, a cheap $30 lesson

Just not worth it at all to get busted at the border
