Cleaning out the bong (Pigeons shamed me into daily cleaning 
) and playing around with the camera. This is why we handle our buds with such care.

the next night I pulled out a joint and she said "is that more White Whore"?
And get this, she really is a white widow!
I don't blame you on the daily cleanings on the bong Sue. I have seen some peoples bongs and its just freaking nasty. I don't do every day but not far from it. Usually after every 3rd or 4th use. I can't stand putting a filthy dirty bong up to my lips.

I've been puttering, trying out the CBD Critical Cure I dried in the dehydrator and playing with the phone camera again.
After playing I smoked most of that bud up.
She's a pleasant, happy high, just like Rad described. I think his sativa pheno may have a bit more up to it than my indica-leaning one. I'm a little envious. This particular pheno works beautifully for the daughter. It'd be nice to see if the sativa pheno worked better for her sativa-loving mother. I still have a few seeds left. Somewhere along the line I'll give another seed a shot.
Oh yeah...... I topped Blue Dream.
She's decided to go verticle.
A mighty pretty one herself.
Sitting right next to her canna cousin, Ultra Dawg 1.1
What a stunning plant.
Heading out to the river, at long last. The day's warmed up a bit, but it's still jeans weather instead of shorts. I feel the drive to be moving faster than sitting on this floor provides. Lol!

Yeah, I figured at best it'd end up looking like that - so not worth bothering with. Besides, I was out of cigarettes, lol, so I quick-dried it and rolled up an 18-minute smoke. Not much in the way of a buzz, but it relaxed me enough that when I walked to the store to get a pack of the best that $1.92 could buy... I didn't end up smacking the first person I passed who was smoking. So it's all good.

.I never understood what the big deal was with cleaning a bong - unless it's one of those stupidly and needlessly complicated ones. Just pour in a little 91% isopropyl alcohol, add some salt (Epsom salt works even better than table salt, IMHO, because it's "chunkier"), put your palm over the big hole, one of the fingers on your other hand over the stem hole, and shake it for a bit. Neither table salt nor Epsom salt will dissolve in alcohol, so it makes for a fine abrasive. I guess that won't work on a 52-arm perc or the like. But for simple bongs whose only purpose is to trap crap and humidify the smoke with hot moisture so that I don't cough out my hit, it works a treat. Especially if done regularly instead of waiting until someone pukes from the thing.

I never thought about Epsoms. I have sea salt , which should work well too. I just soak the stem in 91% ISO and use a formed pipe cleaner. Takes all of three minutes start to finish. Lol!
Maybe I'm lazy. Actually, I just can't find my pipe cleaners.
EDIT: Yes, sea salt should work fine. I only thought of the Epsom salt because I have a quantity here for adding magnesium (MgSO₄) to my water in order to balance the calcium.

Chopped the Chem Dawg further back. I'm forcing her to go bushy, and when she does I'll level out the canopy.
I figure I gained about three to four weeks on her veg time, a good thing with crowded flowering tents. I could clone and cull her, but this way I get to teach myself how to train for tighter structure. There's always something new to learn.

I've been blessed with so much abundance. Look at the genetics I'm priveledged to grow! What generosity! I am a reflection of what this community can accomplish. In three short years, and through some of the heaviest-hitting trauma of my life, you all taught me how to grow like this.
Genetics, lights, nutrients, and companions. It's quite a winning formula. Growing some of the most resilient plants on the planet comes in mighty handy too. Good morning everyone
Happy Labor Day everyone. Enjoy the last hurrah of the summer. I have nothing special planned, though maybe I should....?
Nah... I have enough going on with more than half the garden getting watered. I'm trying to work out the optimal growing plan and it keeps getting crowded. One simply can't grow all these strains in constant rotation if one only has two flowering tents. Lol! I grow Carnival and DDA for myself and my other patient, Candy Cane for the daughter, and CBD Critical Cure for both the daughter and I. Taking DDA out of the equation, since they get the closet when I'm not overrun with others, that means I have three regular chemovars. To keep them perpetually running means six plants, one of each in veg and the other in flower. The maximum the tents can handle is three at a time so that leaves me with three slots in there and another three in veg to support those spots.
Twelve plants between the tents and the veg shelf and two in the tiny closet. Fourteen plants is six less than I have right now, and I believe I can handle that count. It's simply a matter of reigning back the enthusiasm. Lol! Once I get all of these plants harvested I'll have lots of options to choose from and it'll be easier to determine what else I want to grow for fun. I'll be running a Candida as soon as one can be fit in, and I have a seed on hand.
I'm still considering a cabinet or shelf for clones to hold onto genetics while I play with others. It's just a simplified version of bonsai mothers. Ahhh.... the ongoing challenges of the obsessed cannabis cultivator. Lol!
Alright crew, let's get out there and light up the world with unconditional love and gratitude. Tell me you couldn't use something sparkly and delicious to come your way.
