Sugar Black Rose Auto.

Sugar Black Rose Auto is one of the tastiest autoflowering strains in our catalogue and is the result of crossing Critical Mass Auto with 1998 Black Domina Auto.

Indoors, she can be a relatively short and compact plant although, if given enough room she can spread out more, developing abundant lateral branches. Outdoors, whether in large pots or directly in the ground, she can grow quite tall with very long secondary branches resulting in a wide, rounded plant. Because of this, she's very discreet but very productive.

The buds have a sweet, fruity aroma like oranges or other sweet citrus fruits. They taste of ripe grapes and flowers with skunky overtones and is really interesting. When exhaled, the smoke or vapour tastes sweet and spicy at the same time.

The effect of Sugar Black Rose Auto is instant and very long lasting. Almost narcotic, it soon leaves you in a state of very deep relaxation. Its good cerebal stimulation levels make this strain highly valued for medicinal use as well as by indica lovers in general.

Her high growth potential can be appreciated throughout the life cycle. A mainly indica strain, she tends to be a medium/tall plant above 70cm but can normally reach 1m or higher. She produces one large central cola surrounded by lots of smaller buds. In very cold climates, this is a very attractive option for a summer crop while in Mediterranean or cooler climes, two or even three cops a year can usually be achieved.

Genotype: Indica Auto
THC: 18%
Life Cycle: 60-70 days
Flavor: Sweet fruit
Production: 450-500/ m2 indoor / 80gr/pl outdoor
Odor: High
Effect: Narcotic
Lineage: Critical Mass Auto x Black Domina 98 Auto
BHO Performance: 25%
Medicinal Value: Very high

Ever thought of changing your thread title to "SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition Away from Doc Bud's HBB Kit," lol? Looks like you're definitely moving away from soil.

Astute of you TS. :laughtwo: I considered that very thing, but I came up with another title altogether that reflects the change. My third anniversary date for the site is Sept. 12, and I'll be starting the next journal on that day.

I'm definately moving away from soil. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Playing around with record keeping, I've got the watering needs list reworked, breaking it down into grow spaces, which I think will work better for me.

So what does it tell me?

* I have an overload of plants in my garden. :laughtwo:

* Tomorrow I'll need about 3 gallons of water. Good. I have that on hand.

* On the 1st I'll need 2 gallons. I should have that covered too.

* The 2nd will be my big challenge. I'll be carting some water home from the local store. No way will my distiller do 4 gallons in one day.

It looks like I'll have one or two days a week that I'll be carrying home 2 gallons of water. I can live with that. It's a temporary situation. I won't always have 20 plants growing at once. :battingeyelashes:

You were a little high Sue so it's understandable you forgetting the name, especially when it has four names in it, lol

I was a little high too, the plants in your closet are so big, I thought for a minute I saw Tarzan swinging from one plant to another, then I realized it was the Ultra Dog.

It has a nice long lasting high :thumb:

Wait until you grow some yourself Hash Hound. :green_heart:

I know what I'm smelling in the Sugar Black Rose. It's chamomile. They share a terpene. Now to find out which one. :battingeyelashes:

From Herbazest.com:

"Chamomile flowers contain an array of phytonutrients, including flavonoids, terpenes, and glucosides. Most notable are the terpenes alpha-bisabolol and chamazulene.

According to Tilray:

"Bisabolol’s Effects and Benefits

* Anti-inflammatory
* Anti-irritant
* Antioxidant
* Anti-microbial
* Analgesic

Strains that are said to display high levels of bisabolol include Harle-Tsu and ACDC."

I know I can smell Linallol too. They frequently show up together. From Tilray:

"Linalool’s Effects and Benefits

* Anti-anxiety
* Antidepressant
* Sedative
* Anti-inflammatory
* Anti-epileptic
* Analgesic

Strains that frequently display high levels of linalool include Amnesia Haze, Lavender, and LA Confidential."

Check this out! The largest cola. :yahoo:

I've decided to do it all in the dehydrator. That'll save me loads of time. I use almost all of this as brownie filling anyway.

Alright, time to get out there and be joyful. You do your best there, I'll do mine here. Together we make life easier for everyone who comes into our lives. I don't know about you, but that thought makes my heart feel warmer. :battingeyelashes: :Love:

Catch you later. :ciao:

but first.......

Beautiful harvest Sue.

Cheers

Thanks Ditch. :hugs: I'm getting ready to upcan my Malawi and flip her this weekend. It should be fun. :laughtwo: I'm thinking she could use her own tent. Lol!

HARVEST: Candy Cane 2 (Day 109)

She came out of the plug on Mother's Day and was harvested a week after my daughter's birthday. She's the intended reciepient of this entire plant, so that worked out right nice, don't you think? :battingeyelashes: :green_heart:

Cut, straight from the pot. I'll get just over an ounce dry, by my estimation. That's good with me, since I have another coming up behind. I should be able to get her three or four pans of brownies from this.

Prehanging made the job go so much smoother. I can't believe it never occured to me before.

I trimmed the bamboo stake I've been using for a rod. Made it much easier to access nutes when I watered the tents this morning. :laughtwo:

The four main colas are sizable.

@Sue you probably can't tell in your house, but do you think the dehydrator causes more or less smell in the house when drying vs hang drying?
I second that question

I am probably doing a DDA today and was wondering as well

Wow are you really gonna go all hempy? Tead and i sure corrupted you fast lol. Never thought id see the day!

I had an interesting surprise this morning when the flowering lights came on and I took the time to look.

My AK47xDurban Poison HERMIED! I see a nice fat seed in each of several buds. Note: these are not nanners, but fully-formed seeds.

Can I assume that these seeds are 1) viable and 2) guaranteed Fems?
