SweetSue's Perpetual 2.0 - The Transition To Doc Bud's HBB Kit

Good morning everyone

An exciting start to an obsessive cannabis cultivator's day. Thin Mint GSC decided to sprout some flowers after a mere 5 days following her flip. :yahoo:

Now everyone in here is a blooming beauty. :slide:

As you can tell, it kinda ramped up my normal joy levels. :laughtwo: If I've managed to get your levels to tick up a notch or two I encourage you to potentiate it by sharing it at each and every opportunity. Joy mode is what your body was designed to operate in. You might as well cooperate and contribute to the expansion of the universe.

I'm gonna do a joyful jig down the hall now and prepare this happy woman some breakfast. :cheesygrinsmiley: I'll catch up in a bit. :ciao:

Picked a canna-bouquet and gave to my beloved lady :) It looked better than I imagined

My kind of bouquet DeVille. :bravo:

I have to say it out loud again..... This Chem Dawg Hash Hound gifted me with is the most potent thing in my arsenal.

Thank you Hash Hound. :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: I'll take a cutting anytime you're ready to let one go. I can root it myself. :cheesygrinsmiley:

This made me smile so boldly....a great strain and Hash Hound is obviously a great bud to give you some. I have tried my best to get another CD bean to crack. I might have to abrade one and try again.

Big news: I made my oil Sunday from 65 g of Blue Dream and 325 ml olive oil, one TBS lecithin. I'm test driving it right now. Aloha

Hey sweetsue, finally coming by to check out your journal. You have offered so much advise to growtohealme and I have learned much from you just reading your posts. After a small hiatus, I figured It's about time I should come check you out. Looks like I have alot of reading to do. I had a brain injury about 10 years ago and have a really bad memory as a result. I've been studying the positive effects of cbd and am looking forward to doing my Dutch treat soon. I'll be following along.:thanks:

Smoke green and prosper :passitleft:

Hi CHED,

I so agree with you, Sue has her fingers on the most wonderful set of journals you will ever learn from! I too, suffer from PCS, a double (two axis) concussion 4 years ago... I sure know what you are talking about with memory issues. I ended up with PTSD, too. (gunfire (hunters), cannon fire, fireworks aka 4th of July stuff - if I can't hear it, I'} I'm ok.

I'm content to know I can always go back in these annals, tomes of info, if I have to. My learning process is slow, but I get there eventually. Please know you are not alone!

Enjoy SweetSue, she is the best... I've plagued her with silly questions, or what I thought were dumb questions... all questions are worth answering, even if they have been answered before (this site has the WORST search function I've ever encountered!). Ask away. Sue also has wonderful contributors that share their research and knowledge. Following and reading their journals is the next overwhelming task I have to do! Everyone is wonderful in SweetSue's circles!

Welcome!

So the Adventure continues...

Sue, what do you think about my Candida CBD plant for harvest? I'm seeing milky and some amber in multiple places when I check with the handheld 60x scope.

Feel free to ignore that picture, Sue. I posted much better ones at the end of my journal!

Well hello CHED, and :welcome: to my joyful journal. Cannabis holds great potential as a source of neuroprotection and evidence is growing of the potential for repair. Exciting times ahead. Ten years of memory challenge had to have taught you some impressive survival skills.

So, may I ask, what medicinal relief, if any, do you feel you get from cannabis CHAD? Cannabis has the side effect of helping one forget memories caught in the emotional loop. Does it in any way cause more memory concerns?

Good to hear. I'll watch for the change. :battingeyelashes:

No need to apologize. It's a PITA getting those shots to be clear. You did well. I stopped and checked out the whole pictorial display and left a comment. Typically I'd wait a while longer, hoping for the pistils to change and begin to really pull back, but you have lots of cloudy and a decent smattering of amber, so watch them closely.

Exhausted, but in a good way. I spent the day working through a series of YouTube videos of cannabis clinicians. So much more to go, but I'm beginning to see double, so I'm off to bed.

Goodnight moon.

Well Sue, I just got back from my little night shift checked on my plants and while they are growing calmly I went to the bathroom and saw Aloë Vera shampoo. And I thought: Does Susan also knows a lot about other healing plants?

I know enough about aloe vera that I keep it continuiously growing rik. I use aloe gel when cloning or starting seeds. But you can't beat a slather of aloe gel on a burn, so it's a plant that should be near any kitchen. Well.... If you had CCO on hand, that would beat aloe gel, but that's not something found in most homes all of the time, so get an aloe and keep it near the stove.

Aloe gel added to your water helps the plants take up moisture more efficiently. It used to be a regular addition to my LOS pots.

Many people drink aloe juice and swear to its healing powers.

You look like your having so much fun ..

Of course I am Suntana. I'm SweetSue. :laughtwo: Hang around me long enough and you'll find yourself feeling more joyful and optimistic. Life is meant to feel good. It's meant to be fun, and I take that charge personally. When the baby blues pop open every morning the grin immediately spreads across my face as I joyfully proclaim right out loud

"I'm ready to play!" :yahoo: :slide: :yahoo:

It kinda sets the tone for the rest of the day. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I grow cannabis Suntana. What's not to be joyful about? It keeps bubbling over and spreading to everything I come into contact to. Makes this room crackle with love, which turns out to be a good crowd draw. :battingeyelashes:

Welcome to my joyful journal. :hugs: Make yourself comfy and get to know the crew. We talk a lot, so don't feel bad if you fall behind, and please, don't feel you need to show your respect by attempting to read through. We don't mind if you simply join us right here in real time. Did I mention we talk a lot? :laughtwo:

That's pretty good to know! Aloe Vera is also more of a first aid little plant so to speak. I looked it up and apperently it's also good for desinfecting wounds and it supports healing wounds. I would like to grow some then! But I've also read that aloë vera takes 1 to 3 months to sprout...

Good morning everyone.

Man! I fell asleep last night and woke up in the exact position I passed out in. Lol! I may let the eyes rest today. Two straight days of conferences is beginning to tire them out.

Learned an interesting thing about THCa, the latest hot cannabinoid. Turns out they consider it an unstable conman inoir. If you leave a formulation of THCa out on a counter it will convert to THC as soon as it can, so it's recommended that you keep such formulations in the fridge.

There, now we're all a little smarter. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I hit all the big girl soil plants with a Brix + Way Ahead foliar just before lights went on this morning. Caught a few nice shots of the CBD Critical Cure 2.1.1. She's at day 104, 24 days from flip.

She made me think of that first Carnival I grew. :dreamy: She's coming along nicely, eh? :slide:

IMG_88262.JPG

Had to break down and supercrop Devil's Carnival. She still has over two weeks to go before flip and this is all the height I have to work with.

Duggan would have been proud. :cheesygrinsmiley:

It's nice that I can stagger the height of the individual lights. I'm glad we hung thes two with that flexibility in mind.

IMG_88313.JPG

I'm trying hard to contain her. I almost topped her, but decided supercropping was a better choice.

Well my friends, you know what's coming. :battingeyelashes: Feel that joy bubbling up? Alright then, let's get out there and light up the world with it. I'm ordering more perlite today. :cheesygrinsmiley: The hempy kingdom marches on.

I love the look of the Critical Cure. Gorgeous plant.

Cheers.

Why thank you Ditch, and good morning. :hugs:  Look at the one coming up behind her. :slide:

IMG_88324.JPG

In two weeks I'll clone her and start again. :slide: This is so much fun, isn't it? :laughtwo:

Aloe Vera sprouted in 2 weeks for me, but it takes YEARS to grow a good sized Aloe Vera from seed.

The best way to get an Aloe Vera is to get a 'pup' from a friend. Aloe spawn off little copies of themselves from the roots.
The pups grow to full size plants in a couple of months.

One can also buy an Aloe Vera plant from a florist or garden center.

They live a long time. I have one that is decades old.
