many companies make duct tapes, but there is actually a brand DUCK TAPE.

and don't waste any money on cheap dollar store duck tape or even wallllart they chinse on the sticky stuff.

Amen on that Hash Hound. Only Duck brand or Gorilla. Any other brand is growing your money away.

I need to get up in the closet and attach flanges to the walls to hold an expanding curtain rod. I first need to find out if the shower curtain rod will expand that far. I remember measuring once and came up with 55". If that's so, the rod won't fit. In that case though I wouldn't hesitate to attach a couple small pieces of wood to either side and attach the flanges to that.

I'm at maximum height with the rod as it's now mounted, and the Devil's Carnival keeps growing. By tomorrow she'll be too close to the light and I have no better alternative.

It fits!! :yahoo: :slide: :yahoo:

IMG_85285.JPG

All I need do is take the flanges down from the other wall and remount them at the top of the closet. This'll make all the difference in the world. I may flower the Devils Carnival in the closet. I'm pretty sure she's gonna be too tall for the tent.

Solving problems one thread at a time. Lol!

You are welcome!

:hugs:

:passitleft:

That's some Birds of Paradise. She has a zippy start, and a heavy finish when you smoke enough. Lol! It makes my heart beat fast when I'm playing Zombies. Lol!

:passitleft: Sweet! :passitleft:

Easy peasy.....

I still need to mount the flanges so I don't have any chance of it falling. Hash Hound is coming out next week and we'll tackle it, if I don't get crazy and do it first. Lol! I'll wait. I wanted to talk over some ideas for the veg shelf with him.

Even though you think of it as duct tape. Duct work is the last place you should use it. Does not stay stuck. That's about the only thing it's not good for.

Catchin up....

I'm thinking it's getting close to the time when I maintain a stable of bonsai mothers.

I go the other way with that and just start a fresh one every time and keep the roll going.

I'll tell you, those Grow Better nutrients are showing me a side of Carnival I'd not been treated to before.

Noted. Thanks!

I'm hoping she comes in close to two ounces. Her clone cutting looks absolutely gorgeous!

My! You go!
I'm not sure yet really, but I might be seeing that the phenos with smaller buds are significantly more evil and well worth the drop in final weight.

These are the ones that fell of with a touch. Yep, this girl is as close as they get.

Nice! The sativa leaners in my garden all do that. Not so much the heavy indicas.

So I'm up to 13 plants, 6 hempies and 7 soil.

dum de dummm.... lah tee dahh.... just hanin 'round watchin the percentages shift over time.

They actually call it that now. I resisted for the longest time, insisting on calling it duct tape, but they changed the labels, so I relent.

NO! Bad Sue!

Do a double wrap before you drill the hole.

Good tip... drill hole after applying duct tape Tead.... after.... not before... Tead you dumbass! Been there.

What? Seriously? But it's used for duct work; therefore, duct tape. What the heck is DUCK tape for? Poor ducks.

Oh I like you!!!! Such duck hatred should not be tolerated! Are ducks not covered in the rules around this place???
Where'd ya dig this one up Sue? You should listen to her.

It's called duck tape, I believe, because water runs off of a ducks back, hence the waterproof part of the tape.

Drops mic...

Your logic seems a touch unchallengable. I'm simply gonna choose to ignore your logic and drive on with my own flavor of insanity.... much like a four year old.

hmmmmm maybe I can make a living traveling the country and helping out in grow rooms.
holding a sign by the freeway "Will work for bud"

I'd toss food into the offer as well.... just sayin.

OK.... caught up... off to make snarky remarks elsewhere.

Thank you Tead for following my journal. Lol! I love your snarky comments. :laughtwo:

Morning :) It's 6 in the morning at the north-pole and the mind is starting to get severely confused after a month of sun 24/7. When will I see a night again I wonder (The answer is early august. Then the first night will last about half an hour and then in the end of September you get the first night that last 12 hours, then the frost and snow comes not so long after that to kill all hopes of harvesting photos this far north. It's perfect for outdoor autos though)

Usually the summer is so confusing I end up sleeping in the day and staying up in the night. It's better than winter though. In the winter there is only darkness - months of eternal freezing pitch black night

Think perhaps one should grow a few sativa's for the winter. The suicide rates are absurd here in the winter. It seems the human mind struggles with eternal night

Tead's spent his time in the light deprived world. Tends to be a bit nippy in those parts of the world.... a well warmed Tead prefers to stay nearer to the equator!
I was shocked a few years back when I made a visit to PDX. I forgot the dramatic difference in the light between the 2 latitudes (NOLA and PDX). It was odd for me to recognize it considering I was raised in it. I notice that today, NOLA is loosing 41sec of daylight, while PDX is almost twice that loosing 1min 18sec. That's a significant difference especially being so near the solstice.

Much ado about nothing. Happy my lights are not as crazy as yours Ms. D, but your comment about being a good setup for outdoor autos seems like a touch of gold. I sure bet the outdoor summer auto grows are popular in your neck of the woods.

Good morning everyone

I'm sensitive to the lack of light in our winter months at this latitude. I'd think growing some sativas and spending lots of time with them would help tremendously in maintaining a healthy mental state. Cannabis has to be a great tool to help you deal with the light extremes. Do you have a light box in your living room that you can sit near? My rooms are filled with light in the evening hours, regardless of the time of year.

One of the great advantages of this apartment is the view, almost all sky. The window placement and size fills the apartment with natural light during the day, and this room alone has light leaking from two growing spaces and four more lamps to light up every corner and wrap me in light until I finally chase myself to bed.

Which I didn't so until 4 AM last night, just as the lights went out in the tiny closet and veg shelf.

First thing this morning I reached into the tent for my morning banana and grabbed the loupe. She flushed cloudy overnight, so tomorrow's her harvest day. :yahoo:

She's screaming "HARVEST ME!!!" Can you hear it? Lol!

Time to gather supplies and get ready to dry her. That small taste I had the other day has me excited. :slide:

Well, I'm off to a joyful start, which I'm certain didn't surprise a single one of you. Lol! Get out there and join me in spreading that joy. After breakfast I'm treating myself to a stroll along the river, and a possible visit to the labyrinth. It's Sunday, as good a day as any for personal introspection. May your day bubble over with joyful expression. You deserve it. The people lucky enough to enter your realm of influence deserve it.

Hell, the universe could always use another shot of joy. Let it rip. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I know, isn't that the funniest thing? :laughtwo:

Happy Sunday Sue. Hope you have a blessed day :hugs:  :hugs:
:passitleft:

Thank you Mr Am4zin. It's going wonderfully so far. I have a clone cutting to take. This is a nice lead-in for that chore.

:passitleft:

I hope your day has been equally as delicious. My best to Mrs. A
