SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall

Ok and you can add it to his/her drinking water too or on a snack if you see problems. Start low and build up just like humans do.

That is the plan. We did the same with her cat. Started low and slow and work our way to the right dose. The poor thin was on death's doorstep when we started and she perked up, started eating and got 6 or 8 more months of quality life. :peace:

My little shih tzu chico was accidentally giving 3 cco cookies with the equivalent of 9 drops of potent cannabis oil at a party 3 wks ago. I am guessing he got stepped on at the party ( poor little guy i am assuming was to stoned to move). I did not realize what happened to him until the next day. He ended up with a complete broken leg which may cost me up to 4000$. He was stoned for a good 18 hours. The only thing that may have helped him out is that he threw up some of the cookies. He only weights 14 lbs! That would be like me ingesting 130 drops of cco. Not a very pleasant feeling i am sure. So people please be careful with this potent medicine around your pets. Supergroomer would no doubt be the person to seek advice pertaining to cannabis & pets.

I love the circle graph! Very awesome and informative.

This chart, more than anything else I've come across, illustrates the importance of CBD. Where other cannabinoids do one job at a time, CBD is a multi-tasker extraordinaire.

It's Thursday, the end of the third week of using the healing cream. Down to a few rough patches and the blush. Eventually the blush will fade as well. The areas on my hands and face are continuing to heal too. Just a bit of dryness along the crease of the nostrils and between the eyes. The rest is healed to the point that they present like rough patches, not even scaly anymore. It's a slow but consistent healing curve.

Good morning Everyone!!!

A fiend of mine's mother is suffering from psychosis (with voices in her head). They had her on a collection of anti-psychotics and she was doing well. They took her off the Haldol and other drugs, and the voices came back. Has anyone treated someone with psychosis? From the searching I have done, I am thinking a high CBD may be the trick. Thoughts? :peace:

I found this in an insightful article on the impact network. It's a new site for me and appears to be geared to clinicians.

How Does Cannabis Help Schizophrenia?

Δ(9)-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) may enhance psychotic symptoms, while cannabidiol (CBD) helps relieve symptoms. CBD inhibits the breakdown of the endocannabinoid AEA, thus boosting the ECS. AEA may even postpone the onset of psychosis. In one study, patients began treatment with 200 mg of CBD a day, and added 200 mg of CBD each day until they reached a dose of 200 mg of CBD 4 times a day for a total of 800 mg a day.

How Can I Take Cannabis For Schizophrenia?

Eating CBD tincture, CBD pills, CBD drinks, or CBD-rich edibles may help control your symptoms. If you take CBD oil or pills, you may want to take as much as you can afford as these products are expensive. Try to space out your dose 3 times a day, with a target daily dose of 600 mg if you can.

Vaporizing cannabis is better than smoking cannabis in a joint, pipe, or bong because it doesn't burn the cannabis. Smoking cannabis releases toxins similar to cigarettes, can cause lung irritation and often disintegrates cannabinoids with healing properties. Vaporizing cannabis heats the air around the cannabis, releasing a range of cannabinoids, each with unique health benefit.

A new way to get cannabis into your body is via a transdermal patch, similar to the birth control patch or the nicotine patch. This discrete method provides extended release medication for up to ten hours and is perfect for people who feel uncomfortable with other methods such as smoking cannabis.

What Strains Are Best For Schizophrenia?

High CBD strains are best for schizophrenia. High THC strains should be avoided, as they may cause more psychosis. High CBD strains include Charlotte's Web, Harlequin, AC/DC, Sour Tsunami and Cannatonic.

My guess would be CBD strains at 8:1 and above.

If you get time supergroomer, this site is worth checking out.

Thanks Sue. I will head there and take a look. :circle-of-love::peace:

Harlequin is a strain I have seen for many things... sounds worth buying and testing next round

The Sin City High-CBD line looks enticing (all feminized). They have a Harlesin which is a Harlequin x AC/DC, and a few others that would be nice to try out.

Hi there , Did you catch the pdf of pros and cons of each way to intake? I have it if you want it...

Email it to me, if you don't mind. I'd like to see it.
