I do have kind of an outgoing personality, don't I Bode? Lol! We're all cannabis warriors. Someone recently mentioned being apprehensive about to be outspoken in a state that was not yet legal, and I thought "Huh! I give away pain cream to elders. I have no fear."

Maybe it's my age, maybe it's watching my husband support the medical machine for twenty years of ongoing pain and frustration, to discover after his passing that it was never necessary to have gone there......,


Oops!...... Slipped off the truth there. All things in their right time, including his death, which catapulted me right into the heart of this marvelous community, where I met Cajun and my life was forever changed.

The experience in total has created a fire in me that only grows brighter and hotter as we go. I'm just getting warmed up Bode. :hugs:

It's really true SweetSue. Besides all of my topical oil that the folks in my office are using, I find myself talking to all sorts of people about how much this plant offers as medicine, besides the (what's wrong with) euphoria! I was just describing the benefits to my wife's brother and sister-in-law who are staying the rest of the week at our house (in from the UK). All the while baking canna-cookies for my dad. He won't swallow pills any more but he'll eat the heck out of a chocolate chip cookie 3x/day :).

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this (I can't seem to send PM's?),but here goes.

A good friend of mine just told that she has been diagnozed with breast cancer. I would like to help her all I can, at least giving her bud to smoke for any and all pains,nausea etc., but having read your threads here,Sue, I started thinking if I should try to make some oil for her.

I just wondered what kind of amounts of cured bud would I need in order to end up with any useful amount of oil? I have ADD so big amounts of text are a bit hard for me to digest (like the HUGE amount of knowledge in all your threads :) ).

Get a one cup measuring cup

Crumble buds into the jar up to the 50 ml line

Cover with olive oil and stir gently. Add a fraction more.

Bake at 220F for 220 minutes.

Strain, cool and enjoy.

When you cook your oil with decarbed flowers in it, you end up with THC oil. The THC (and the rest of the cannabinoids) get absorbed into the oil. There are a lot of different methods, but that's the basic idea behind all of them. I infuse my decarbed bud in oil for 6-8 hours at 160-170º F.

Oh sorry. I don't know how to make vape juice but I'm sure there are threads on that here. I know that you will need to use additives to the resin for many pens and many folks here stay clear of those. Does your ecig just take cartridges? Many of the vapes designed for cannabis (as oposed to nicotine) can use QWET resin as well and that will be pure THC and cannabinoids.
 
Hi I have 2 pens one I have u can add cannabis its self as it is or the vape or resin, I know it's a little risky doing this thats what makes me stay clear also I'm jst trying to find a cleaner shall we say method than smoking a "spliff" with the added tobacco, but I can not get on with the cannabis in to the pen it's jst not the same there's not really a hit as it's only warming the cannabis rather than burn? Its all stressful trying to find the right thing that's not going to poison my blood as I already suffer a blood disorder " cancerous" so as u can imagine the safest possible way but also enjoyable
 
A flower pen is the fastest and easiest way to vape the buds, but making QWET resin would be the most pure as it's just cannabinoids and no plant material. I'm not sure what you mean by risky though.

Also, I hope that's not your real birthday in your bio page, because that seems risky as well!

If you don't work near an open flame and have reasonably good ventilation, making QWET is not risky at all. Butane extractions yes! But QWET is safe with those two caveats. Grandpa Tokin has a great QWET tutorial here.
