SweetSue's Cannabis Oil Study Hall

The daughter had an ultrasound the other day that suggests she has cirrhosis, early stage. No confirmation yet, but it would explain the symptoms that’ve been dogging her.

14 years ago she downed a bottle of Tylenol in a failed suicide attempt. This is that action coming back to haunt her.

I’ve already started an in-depth study on liver disease and cannabinoid therapies. So far I’ve found nothing about any regimens being used.

I’d appreciate any info anyone has on cannabis and liver disease. It’s the one organ that we know for sure will regenerate, it’s getting it to regenerate healthy cells instead of scar tissue that’ll be the game of the day.

Until this evening I was unaware that the liver would regenerate scar tissue. That presents something of a challenge, doesn’t it? Get the numbers turned in favor of healthy cells seems to be the pathway, and the dramatic rise in CB2 concentrations suggests CBD as the dominant cannabinoid choice. It’s been found that CBD will cause fibrous liver cells to commit apoptosis.

Is that not the coolest thing ever? THC does this with cancer cells and CBD does it with fibrous hepatic cells.

We’re not afraid, just a little thrown by the idea that this came about. We bounce well. We use cannabis. :battingeyelashes:

She was glad that it didn’t look cancerous. She wasn’t liking the idea of suppositories. Lol!

Both Harlequin and Candida are sativa-dominant. The daughter is sensitive to sativas.

Harlequin is only a 2:1 CBD:THC, and I'm looking for something much higher, like the Candida offers, but with Indica traits.

Hmmmm..... I may be able to get some Candida while I'm traveling and have her try it to see if she reacts badly. If not we can plant one and we're on the way.

High SweetSue,

Hope you're doing, well, high!

Sorry to hear about your daughter's cirrhosis. I will start to research with you. I do enjoy researching medical issues. Glad she's not panicking.
Exciting, itsn't it? Going cross country, new places, new friends? Have fun!

I'm so sorry to hear that news, but if there's a way for cannabinoids to fix it, you will find a way!
:green_heart:

Thanks Shed. :hugs: We're sure gonna do our best. I think I'll check out the CBD crystal products available in California while I'm there. What I'd really like is a clone of Harley-Tsu.

CBD Crews Therapy is 50/50 ?

I'll have to see if they've stabilized Therapy yet. Hadn't thought of that one Chew. Thanks. :hugs: I can't remember if it's sativa or indica.

It is exciting Bode. And I am high. You?

I'm going to make it my pleasure to meet as many members as I can over the next few years. This should be great fun. This trip I'll be meeting at least three members and one sponsor. Not a bad start. :battingeyelashes:

We have an appointment with a liver specialist beginning of May. I'll be interested to hear what conventional medicine proposes. We plan to work up that high CBD dose and get her going on a more aggressive therapy. The doctors will have all the baseline info for us to compare to, but she is pretty firm about not wanting any pharma drugs added to her life. We still have to find a way to wean her off that damned Effexor.

Sue, I'm sure you've researched Milk Thistle for liver support, but another supplement that is very helpful is Sam-e. A vet I know used it on a dog with severe liver enzymes and the animal recovered for several years longer than predicted. Look into it.

Thank you Cowbelle. :hugs: I'll look into it.

Hi everyone, I'm new here, thank you for welcoming me. I have stage 2 inoperable squamous cell cervical cancer. I was diagnosed in january, and have not yet done any standard treatments. I have however, been as aggressive as chemo in every other healthy and alternative option. CCO, orally, and suppository, lipo Spheric vit C, high doses, vit K, thrive supplement shakes, and super greens supplements. Alkaline drops, Ive went vegetarian, and leaning to vegan , sugar free carb free diet. I will say as far as Sues daughter's Cirohsis diagnosis, ( first, Bummer but awesome attitude!!) that the super greens is an excellent liver detoxer , I have taken milk thistle in the past also and it works great as a detoxer. I go in 10 days to get a new scan done. My nerves and anxiety are really getting the better of me. I mostly feel like the whole world is against me (except here obviously) the mental part of this is way harder than i thought. I live in Indiana and "alternative" and "natural" are literal cuss words here. Ive had zero medical support and %90 of the people around me think im insane!!! I believe with every thing i have that this is the right way to go, my body is responding,( i think) positively ... I just really need some cheerleaders!! I need some believers in my corner for a minute , please. Any words of comfort support, experience... Is much appreciated and needed. Much love and thanks !!

High Crash,

Welcome to 420 magazine! Great that you have come here.

While I was reading through your post, it occured to me that we need a place where we can go to heal physically with cannabis and a good diet, learn yoga (or whatever is your thing) to learn to relax, and experiment with cannabis cures. Shangri-La! I'd be interested in going!

I'm sure SweetSue will be along any moment to give you a better introduction. Again, welcome.

Hello Sue,

This might interest you :

This is Nightingale from Medical Marijuana Genetics.

She is indica dominant and can reach up to 20% CBD for more or less 1% THC.

The down side though, is that this strain has not been stabilized and therefore needs some pheno hunting and testing.

Her ratio ranges from 1:1 to 20:1 CBD:THC. However, according MMG, the indica phenos are those who carry the genetic ability for the 20:1 CBD to THC ratio.

I originally wanted to post it here as a screenshot, but not knowing if personal data from my computer could be sent in the process, I dropped the idea...

I hope this can help you in your quest.
Best of luck to you and your daughter.

Hello Sue,

(Yeah, me again....)

I was unsure, so I needed to check the info prior to posting it here…

This is Swiss Dream Auto CBD from Kannabia.

She is indica dominant as well, but unlike Nightingale, she ""seems"" more reliable in its cannabinoid content. She is said to have the ability to yield CBD to THC ratios ranging from 20:1 to 35:1.

According to lab tests, her CBD content can go past 21%, coupled to THC levels well under 1% (again according to lab reports…).

Baya, thank you so much. :hugs: Swiss Dream Auto. An auto, you marvelous friend! I have a space devoted to autos. This could work out really well. My thought is to start a juicing garden, and an auto would accelerate harvests. Hmmm..... it's becoming more interesting.

I see I missed someone earlier in the week. Let me back up.
