SweetLeef's Gone Muy Loco! Tijuana EbbnFlow - 4 Autos in Supersoil

Awesome update Sweet! MANY congrats on you haul :) some big ass buds indeed. Id be just as chuffed as you are buddy. Also the not disturbing the roots is something I suffered with recently. You live and you learn! :) :)

I have definitely learned that lesson :) Thanks LA! Cant wait until she's ready to smoke!

Nice job! Can't wait to see your total weight from Rosie.

Thank's Jade! I can barley contain myself :)

WoW! Nice haul my friend......and....more to come! :thumb::cheertwo:

Thanks OMM! Now we play the hardest game of all... the waiting game :)

Hey there sweet. Congrats on the harvest, solid work.

So Rosie, the way you harvested the top 1/2 and are letting the bottom finish, sounds interesting. I have a plant I am thinking of doing same to. It's a critical kush and the top is really nice, bottom really shitty. I let this one go all natural without training or defol. (Should have at least taken something off the bottom).

Anyway, have you harvested like that before? Did the bottom buds get plumper? Would you recommend I try it?

I kinda think I should give it a try, or I could just use those little crappy buds for hash making. I'd rather have buds than hash though. ;)
What ya think?

Thank's CO!

I believe it works. In my last grow I left two tiny little nothing buds on an auto and threw her back in. A few weeks later, those two nothing little buds gave me 2.5 beautiful grams that were denser and better than the rest of the plant. Of course those two buds got mostly LED and the rest of the plant was T5, Either way it seems to work to me, so now I get to try in on a bigger scale.

Also I believe InsaneRooster harvested his award winning plant in two phases. :)

So yeah, I think you should give it a shot if you've got the space and light available, why not?

SweetLeef!! Rosie... "she's a fox! In French she would be called 'la renarde' and she would be hunted with only her cunning to protect her."

:bravo: :goodjob: :thumb:  Great harvest with part of Rosie and the littles. I'm looking forward to watching what you do with Michelle!

Alright final weights are in for phase 1 and the five girls

Rosie: 75.6g

Tia: 5.4g

Tamera: 5.6g

Crystal Gayle: 6.7g

Janine: 5.8g

Zelda Rubenstein: 13.31g

Not a bad showing at all. I am a couple of weeks away from having plenty of weed, and quite the variety as well:)

It's been a week since phase 1 was chopped. The rest of Rose looks great still. I would expect he buds to start plumping up again within the next three weeks. so maybe beginning of august for phase 2?

I'm afraid I'll get bored and chop her soon so I can flip Obama. I am getting antsy to see what she's going to do. I am so excited to flip a plant I can hardly contain myself. So, I will finally give her the deep defol and training session I've been threatening if there is no change in Rosie in a few weeks when Obama has filled back in, it's flip time!

Hope your garden is green and frosty!

Just make sure to get some good vert before flipping, as mature plants with many sites on an even level don't stretch anywhere near as much as a normal plant! :)

Great advice LA
I noticed that big time when I did my last single plant Scrog.
I was pretty surprised actually by lack of stretch. She got trained to the max and vegged for a long while.

OK Sweet you have been elected to tell me what to do with these autos....:yahoo: I got some free beans from the bean store with my order and I got 2 White Widow autos and 2 Black Destroyer autos. I have put 1 WW to germinate and from there have no idea what I am doing so I am going to read through your journal if you don't mind and most likely will have loads of questions.... Just consider this your lucky day....:thedoubletake:.....:circle-of-love:

Good looking out LA!! I read your comment in time and gave her a defol. This Obama Kush is not a fast grower at all I was expecting a much larger plant at this point. She's definitely not going to fill the tent like I had hoped. It would probably take another year of veg with this plant. I may throw two more autos into the mix.

Glad I skipped the training session. :)

It's very nice to have you along. I hope you enjoy growing autos. I think they are fun.

After germination, are you going to put them in their final pot or do you plan on stepping them up? I'll help anyway I can. :)

Some decisions have been made.

I think tomorrow I am going to finish Rosie. I am too antsy about flipping Obama.

Also, I am going to drop a few Minty seeds that will go almost directly into flower. Almost.

Here's the plan:

Tonight, drop a few minty seeds.

Tomorrow, Harvest Rosie, Final defol of Obama

Two weeks, Flip the lights.

The purpose of the two weeks is to make sure I've got the room dialed. To do that, I'll need the space Rosie is currently occupying.

I think since they are going into flower right away, I will drop the Mintys into big pots. Also I think I can get away with reusing the super soil from the five. We'll see :)

Dropped 4 seeds before going to bed!

4 bagseed of GS Cookies x ??

The same as Minty from my first journal.

Hopefully at least two will be girls

They are in #3 pots. I filled the pots with super soil and used a solo cup to punch a hole in the center of the soil. filed 4 solo cups with regular potting soil, soaked the soil, and then filled the holes. Then dropped a seed into the center of the cheap soil.

It'll be fun to see what happens :)

Congratulations on your harvest.

Speaking of harvest...

That day has come and gone for Rosie Cotton. The end of a pretty epic era.

121 days old. I'm pretty impressed an auto went that long. And I am VERY impressed on how big she got.

Yesterday I pulled 474.5 grams wet off of Rosie. Phase two came in 103.9 grams heavier than phase 1 :yahoo:

This time when I chopped, I got rid of most of the extra stem except a little hanger, before taking the wet weight, so I think the dry weight will be closer to 25% of the wet weights instead of 15-20. I am just guessing, of course. But I am thinking we are looking at 3-3.5oz from phase two. My fingers are crossed for 6oz total from Rosie. Very nice performance from my EnF Auto!

Here is a look at her just before harvest.

Here is a look at her roots.

She filled her pot with a really nice dense root structure! I will be using all of the roots and stalks and the trim from Rosie to make another batch of pain cream here in the next few weeks, maybe next month.

Speaking of stalks check out this auto's stalk.

Of course, what would a harvest update be without a shot of the freshly washed hanging buds?

I have already broken into Phase 1. She doesn't have much taste, and her smell is not super strong, but there is a definite grapefruit quality to her aroma. Her smoke is nice and smooth, and I have to pat myself on the back on her dry and cure. Her texture is awesome. Snappy, but not crispy. Her dense fat nuts burn for a while too! She comes on hard and fast right behind the eyes. While not super long lasting the duration is decent. I am happy with this strain and will definitely give it another whirl on the EnF in the future :)

I am excited to see what Obamas got going on in the way of roots. I am hoping to transplant her into the final pot tomorrow. She will be moving into Rosie's pot, as it doesn't leak and her current pot does.

I am excited about the minty seeds :) Oh please let all or most of them be girls ;)

Hope all is growing well in yours ;)
