SweetLeef's Gone Muy Loco! Tijuana EbbnFlow - 4 Autos in Supersoil

Sweet, when you dry yours, it looks like it's out in the light, I was told to dry with no light, what is your opinion ?

Thanks !

PS, great grow :high-five:

Awesome update and great roots! Many congrats on phase 2 harvest! Im looking forward to Obama's roots also after you've stalled her for so long! :)great job Sweet, Bravo! :)

Thanks LA! Well chuffed, I believe is the term :)

Congrats on the harvest man! Rosie was epic. +reps.

She sure was! Miss that big girl already.

Sweet harvest and update, SweetLeef! Oh, and I like smoking her too!! +reps from me too!! :circle-of-love:

Thanks Sis! the first Minty popped yesterday! :) You should be starting a grow journal here pretty soon, yes?

:high-five:

Nice pull there Sweet! Is it your camera settings, or do your roots have a red hue to them?

Thanks AG! Because I got rid of so much stem they dried a lot faster than I wanted. Ready for the jars in just two days. Tried a sample of phase 2 through the bong. Tastes like her sister. HA! That last sentence cracked me up. Sorry. :) ;) Anywhoo, final weight came in at 3.6oz meaning all told Rosie put out 6.3 ounces. I have 4 jars full of buds! It's the most weed I have ever had at once! Stoked!

Yes, her roots look red when they were up against the rock wool, but once I took the rock wool out they don't look red anymore. The red is the same color as my nutes.

Hey Ms.Badger :)

Great question. I'm still at the point where I don't necessarily know why I do the things I do :cheesygrinsmiley: I let them hang in a room that gets a little light for the first 24 hours after washing them. Then they go onto a rack in a dark closeted for around 5 days or so. Eventually I will get a humidifier and then I can get that good slow dry going on. Anyway, The reason I let them hang in a room where they get some light is because Doc Bud suggest in his Bud Washing thread, that after washing you hang the buds under a light for 24 hours or so to let it continue to photosynthesize. I guess I should ask him why :)

I was just looking to streamline what I do, trying to eliminate steps or worries, but Doc Bud makes sense, thanks ! :thanks:

A strange occurence today.

When the lights came on this morning I opened the tent and the second seedling had popped. only she hadent opened yet, she was very yellow. Like, dying plant yellow. Bummed, but hoping the fact it's a weed would prevail and she'd survive, I decided to let things play out. closed the tent and went to work. When I came home, she was green like I've alwas seen. Is this normal? Does it have something to do with the fact that she broke ground in the night? Maybe it's not weird, but it seems a little weird super yellow to a robust green 10 hours later. Is this normal? I wish I had snapped a picture of her. Dangit!

Either way, I am super hapopy she came around. Also when I got home, the third baby popped. One to go. It's looking like tomorrow is going to start the two week countdown to flip! :)

To screen or not to screen is my next question. I currently have a little over 3' between the tops of the plant and the light. Any thoughts? Also, how might that effect the very little girls going into flower as well?

Gotta go change the res I wont have time to transplant tonight afterall, but maybe I can knock that out in the morning.

Night y'all!

So as I expected the 4th Minty had popped by the time lights came on and I got up. She was a little yellow, and when I got home form work it was gone. I guess it's normal for her strain? Or maybe the popping in the dark. I dont know.

Anywho,

Gave Michelle Obama her transplant this morning and I have to say, I am quite dissapointed with the size of her roots. Way way way smaller than I expected. Ugh. It looks like the Minty's are getting 4 weeks of veg instead of 2.

Because of her small roots, and large-ish pot, full of rockwool cubes, I might add, the transplant was a little rough. Lets just say taking a fork to her roots was not necessary in this case.

She's perky as hell tonight when I got home from work though. Perkier than she's ever been maybe.

While I am antsy to flip and not stoked to wait two more weeks, I feel like it will be more than worth it when the Minty's have had a moth of veg. Hopefully it'll make up for Obamas tiny roots :)

Pics of the babies soon.

I wish you all the greenist dankest buds ever :)

New research suggests cannabis-based medicine may allow those afflicted with Lou Gehrig’s disease to lead longer, more productive lives: Link to Medical Journal Abstract

Researchers from the Complutense University in Spain published their latest findings in the medical journal CNS Neuroscience & Therapeutics, which details an exploration into the effects of the cannabis-based pharmaceutical, Sativex on the debilitating and deadly wrath of ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease. The consensus is that Sativex slows the progression of Lou Gehrig’s disease in laboratory animals.

The study, which was conducted by injecting mice in late stages of the disease with a combination of THC and CBD extracts, is consistent with previous studies that have found cannabinoids effective in hindering the evolution of Lou Gehrig’s disease. Researchers conclude that while clinical trails are necessary to paint a more accurate portrait of the drug’s effectiveness on the disease, they believe their findings “provide support that Sativex (or alternative Sativex-like combinations of phytocannabinoids) may serve as a novel disease-modifying therapy in ALS.”

This discovery could eventually change the fate of the nearly 30,000 Americans currently inflicted with the disease, which destroys the brain and spinal cord, and ultimately leads to paralysis and death.

There are only six states in the US that allows the use of medical marijuana for patients suffering from Lou Gehrig’s disease: Arizona, Florida, Maine, Michigan, New Jersey and New Mexico. Because the federal government is working with Sativex manufacturer, GW Pharmaceuticals, there is a distinct possibility the drug will soon be FDA approved for clinical trials for ALS and many other serious conditions.

After all, Sativex is currently being tested in America as a treatment for cancer and epilepsy patients, which is interesting considering marijuana continues to be unrecognized by the federal government as having any medicinal benefit.

Hey Everybody,

Sorry my journal has gotten so boring that past month or two.

I will have a picture update tomorrow. For real this time ;)

At the moment, everyone is doing great though!

Hope everyones jars are full of dank and the next harvest is right around the corner. :)

Alright here we go. Finally an update!

The babies are doing really well. We are on day 11. On day 28 the tent will go dark and on day 30 it will flip to 12/12!! I'm so excited, I can't wait to flip!

They have been named Minty#2-5 until they show sex and then the females will most likely get names of their own. I spilled #4 so she is several days behind the others, but has started growing again. The rest have known no strife. Let's take a look.

I made an attempt at topping or FIMming this one, not yet sure if it worked out :)

I love the way these seeds grow. I really hope I get lucky and all 4 are girls. That's one thing I don't like about regular seeds, it might be a dude.

Now then, Michelle Obama. She's bulked up a little since the transplant. Hopefully she'll get a little bigger in the next couple of weeks. I gave her a defol a couple of days ago and will give her another tomorrow after her res change.

Any suggestions on wether or not I should screen her? will the Minty sisters get big enough to screen, or should I just let them roll as is? Opinions?

That's where we are at. Girls look nice and happy and I am anxious to flip, 19 days to go! I just may have some Obama and a cookie cross to burn come halloween! :blunt::bong::lot-o-toke::surf:

oh yea you just reminded me I need to put a germed seed in a rooting plug
Great Update Sweet:thumb:

Hey everybody,

What do you think?

48or18.jpg

See all the little side branches? Both of the "Main" tops have decent side branching like that. So I was thinking of forcing myself to be patient and adding 1 more month to the veg time in the tent. It would allow me to bent those to main stems down and get a few more tops. She's just over 4 monte in veg, and has been a much slower grower than I would have hoped. She does seem to be picking up a little steam though. It would also give the Minty sisters another month of veg.

Thoughts anyone?
