Quick update on the goils!

Let's start with the 5. All are frosty, all are tiny, and all are just starting to get cloudy.

Obama is bushy and once again due for a defol. However with a while to go with the rest of the ladies, I think I will let her go two weeks again just for S's-n-G's

And finally, Rosie Cotton, The Hobbit herself. 91 days old.

Her buds are getting really big. Her main cola is actually moving away from the light due to her weight :) I gave her phase 1 buds the backbudding treatment a few days ago. I will most likely backbud phase 2 buds the week or so before phase one get's chopped.

Well, that's where we are today. :high-five:

Hope all is stinky green nuggie goodness in your grow space ;)

I don't know how I managed to miss the picture update!? I've just been waiting and waiting... How do I get through a day, I wonder sometimes. It is funny to see Rosie up against those other autos. She really is something. :thumb::green_heart::green_heart::green_heart:

If you had 6' x 10' to set up a grow space, how would you use it?

I have been struggling. Hydro, soil, perpetual, giant sog? So many options.

I think I will split the room into two areas. 6x7 flower area and 6x3 for veg. there is an unmeasured area of shelving that will be used for storage and seedlings/ clones.

Because I won't live at this grow, I need it to be as low maintenance as possible. Hydro, while providing awesome results, is very high maintenance. I plan on running Super Soil.

Hoping to put 8 plants into flower every 4-6 weeks, The eventual goal being 2#'s every 4-6 weeks.

All LED. More than likely, TOPLed. Thinking a 144x3w Reflector for the veg area and 2 MARS II 1200w for flower.

I can maybe split the veg side to have a place for a drying rack...

Any suggestions, questions, or comments are most welcome.

Definitely.

Since I am currently using an ebb n flow system, it's what I was leaning toward originally.

However, even as simple as my setup is, it takes a lot of upkeep. Being that I live about 25-30 minutes away, and it's the busy season at work, I need a very simple setup. Eventually I will try a hydro setup, but to start I just need something that runs:)

Oh man, I almost fluxed it all up.

I changed the res... oh three days ago. So it's been three days since Obama and Rosie have been watered.

It would seem that I failed to plug in the water pump.

tee hee :)

Got home from work tonight and found Rosie looking like this

Luckily, I caught it in time. pluggd the pump back in and the water will flow once again in a couple hours. The leaves are droopy, but not crispy.

I am impressed it has taken this long. Rockwool is awesome.

Obama is not yet showing any signs of thirst.

This small mishap has strengthened my resolve to at least start out soil in the big room...

There is nothing more simple than super soil and water. It's all you need, seed to harvest.

Anyway, don't forget to plug things back in :laughtwo:

Hope all is green in your world!

Obama and Rosie are on the same res. I want to flush Rosie the five days I'm out of town. Would that really bum out Obama or can a photo plant in veg handle a few days of plain ph adjusted water?

Oh, that's a good question! I hadn't considered that.
