SweetLeef's Gone Muy Loco! Tijuana EbbnFlow - 4 Autos in Supersoil

I don't know I seem to see some plants changing daily not always but some times at certain times
when its flowering its hard to tell by the day week to week shows

Hello!

While attempting to supercrop Michelle at the bottom I found the stem to be quite woody and couldn't get the pinch and twist to so anything. So while trying to lst the main stem I snapped it a little. I'm not too worried. She's got plenty of time to recover and it'll pay off in the end because all of her bud sites will be pointing up in the next day or so; Then I will begin defol. I want to go super hardcore on the defol. Since she is laying flat now, I plan on keeping all of the bud sites and utilizing a couple of drastic defol sessions to boost them all up. Then I'll probably bend her around the top of the bucket. Hopefully she can complete the circle before flip :)

LA, what and how much can I cut off the first time out? I wanna be hardcore like you, I just don't want to go to far. Also, any ideas for shaping and bending? I plan on topping her soon too. I just want to get her over the break first

Rosie looks like a hobbit version of a plant. She;s short and sturdy. Bushy as all get out. It is a constant battle to keep tucking leaves. to get light to the bud sites. She's gonna be a decent sized girl I think.

Princess Savina reminds me of Aurora in her small bushy growth and growing much slower than the other two. I'm excited to have another plant growing like that.

Sweet sweet Lindy Berger. When I said she meant business I was not kidding. She had already started budding. She started about two days ago at roughly 33 days from seed. She's really flying :)

Alright Picture time!

I took a page from Dr.Bob's book and used some aquarium rocks to cover the diatomaceous earth on the soil plants. Now the plants look stylish and I don't have that stuff blowing all over the tent.

I also filled a bucket with charcoal to help reduce the RH of the tent.

Soil plants get watered tomorrow. I never got around to starting that tea so I will start that tomorrow as well.

Hope your world is as green and smelly as mine:)

You are not mistaken. I figured the h2o2 would like kill the benies, but I also figured if I lined it up to be just before a res change and new benies are introduced it would be fine

Maybe I have missed a big piece, but I thought the reason we add tea regularly was because the benies die off and you need to replenish them. Also, I clean every piece of the setup once a week when I change the res. Should I not be doing this?

Hey Sweet, I didn't want to reply before I was 100% sure if my claim. I have consulted with the 'experts' and am here with a better perspective.

To directly quote the Capn:
The live environment is in the root zone, so last long as you're not getting the h202 in the root zone, you won't kill your colony.

I don't have any experience with PM but if I were him I would use a product designed to kill it. I've read people are successful killing it with PM wash or Mighty Wash. Have it use one of the digital thermometers that records your highest humidity so you can see how high it is getting when the lights go off.

So there you have it, I hope that helped ease the stress I may have caused.

>>>Please feel free to post a link and invite on this journal! I can't wait to see what you are going to come up with next.

Well to say the least, I went be doing an 'experimental' journal as I promised. BUT to give you a sneak peak, I will be setting you a perpetual journal with my current setup, with a set of 4 strains to try. Hopefully I will be able to accomplish 6-7 harvestswithin the next year. We shall see ;)

Nice update SL. Here is a good thread on defoliation also if you haven't already read it.
Increasing yield with defoliation indoors - What's it mean? How to do it?

Your girls are looking great.

Thanks AS!!

I had read that article a while back and forgot who wrote it. Thanks for putting up here! Just read through it and I'm ready to start cutting. Also, the little breakage didn't seems to bother Obama very much so I think I'll defol today or tonight.

Thanks AG!

The RH got to high when the plants growth exploded and the extraction fan wasn't yet on. It was getting into the mid 80's. WIth the extraction fan on it hasn't gotten above 70. I have already started with the mighty wash, and may give H2O2 a try, but may not have to with the lower RH defol.

No stress caused. You were actually very helpful in slowing my reactions. "Leave them alone" is a lesson I know and still struggle with.

6-7 harvest a year sounds pretty awesome:)

Nice Update Sweet :thumb:
Have a Great Day

Hey Chronic! Thanks for stopping by. It's nice to see you! Hope your day was wonderful as well.

Well, I went and did it.

I gave Michelle Obama a pretty hard defol. We'll see how she likes it. Though she's taken everything else in stride.

I cut a bunch off of her. This should make her a monster.

Everyone else looks great too.

Keep 'em green!

Woah! You disrobed her alright. She certainly doesn't seem to mind the super crop at all. She'll be a beast! How are you liking the changes this time around? The ebb n flow and led's?:peace:

The EnF system is pretty cool. I love how big Rosie is getting in the EnF. I think she'll put out a very decent yield for an auto. They all seem really happy so far. The LED is awesome, I think, though the proof will be in the buds. But I think this light was a good purchase. I hope to be able to purchase a second unit by the next grow.

Thought I would say "Hello".......nice work!:high-five:

Hey OMM! Thanks for coming out and stopping by! I know you don't get out of your journal very often. I am honored to have you here. :high-five:

Damn just caught up and sorry I was late on replying about defol. Looks like you did a fine job anyhow. Its just so many journals not enough time lol. ( my fault for subbing to over a 100) :) :) best of buds to you!

Don't worry about your timing. I have learned by now if you really need a question answered, it's best to ask someone straight out.

I stayed up way too late last night subbing to new journals and now I'm subbd to over 100 too! Hope all is wonderful with you, sir!

I don't know how many I got subbed atm I don't think its 100 but its still a lot to keep up with

Yeah I don't know what I was thinking :lot-o-toke: Keeps it interesting though!

Gotta go teach the GF how to drive stick, and then I am going to try and make an update before I am needed in Slumberland.

Hope all is good and green in your world!

I'm not getting any notifications for updates for any of the ones I'm subbed to at all now. As of this afternoon. Weird!

the only notifications I use is user cp
well except for pm's I get email notification for that

Alright Update time!

1st,

Obama is going to get a couple more months of veg time than I had planned.

My sisters condition seems to have progressed slightly, so I am waiting on seeds for the highest CBD strain I could find. I will be dropping 2 MED GOM 1.0. An Autoflower with potential to have 10%THC and 15%CBD. We will be using the entire plant roots an all to make, well basically Simpson Oil. It will hopefully not get her high, but will allow her to intake a high dose of CDB's, then at night she can smoke or vape the "good shit" and she doesn't need to be high and sleepy all day :)

Along with those two, I will be dropping two other autos, I figure If I'm gonna be growing a second round of autos while Obama continues to veg, I may as well grow some regular autos as well. With the current autos flowering already, I will probably not even go over my number of plants. Even if I do, it will only be for a week or two. I haven't decided the strains yet, but I am very excited to extend this grow.

:allgood: Obama's been elected to a second term :allgood:

I think all four will be in soil for ease of use. I usually start them in solo cups but I think for these 4 they will be dropped into their final pots. I think I only grabbed 5 smart pots, so 1 one the new beans will have to go into something else. Mayhaps one of my custom pots? we'll see. This is gonna be fun though!

Now, speaking of Obama.......

When we last left her, I had just chopped of most all of her leaves.

We're going for the long haul here, folks.

Obama has been in the tent for 25 days now. By the time the beans pop, she'll have been in there for a month. We're looking at probably a 5 month veg. I might be cutting her down in OCTOBER :goof:

LA, If you would please help me with her training. I would like to have a nice even canopy wall to wall in my 5x5 tent. I would really like to hear your thoughts, as you are pretty much THE Trainer. Before you agree you should know a couple things. 1. This plant is responding very well to everything I have thrown at her. And letter #2. I'm not afraid to take it to her :)

Here are my thoughts on her training....

She was too tall to flux when I got her, so I snapped her at the bottom to lay her down flat. She has responded very well to that. The next day I laid a heavy defol on her. She has responded very well to that also. Her top is at the edge of the bucket now, I was thinking of topping her and bending her two tops around the bucket in opposite directions, hopefully until they meet back in the middle of the other side.

My inclination is to put her into a bigger pot this week, which makes me think I should wait 1 more, maybe two to pot her up again. I am potting up in small increments and trying to get slightly root bound between.

Enough about the 1st Lady and onto the Autos :goof:

Lindy Berger is budding nicely. Can't wait to see how she does under the LED!

Little Princess Savina has just begun flowering. She's very small, but good things often come in small packages, so let's hope she puts on huge buds!!!

Last and certainly not least.....

Rosie Cotton, the Hobbit. Big Girl. Even bushier than before. I think she is just about to bud now too. :)

That was a decent sized update. Hope not too long :)

Now, I must be off to Slumberland. I am sure that I am needed post haste.

I hope everything is as green, bushy with lots of frost in the near future :goof:
