Looking really great, Sweetleef! I can hardly believe you got 15 for 15. :partyboy::woohoo: The veg tent looks beautiful! No foam in the tea yet, and Harley Girl is a crispy critter again today. Hopefully she will enjoy her tea tomorrow. Thanks for all the help and fun yesterday!:green_heart::blunt:

I tea'd the harlequins tonight. Fingers crossed that it gives her enough time for those seeds to ripen up. She is really drying out...

Hope your day was fantastic, and all of the girlies are green and happy! :blunt::green_heart:

...that's what I want a couple of big old kick arse tents full of green girls growing gorgeously....

:)

Thanks Tassie! I want a couple more tents :) I want a veg tent, now that my veg tent is full of mothers. I want another flower tent and I would like a tent for my chilies. I'd need another basement to do that though :laughtwo:

Yeah, something's not right with that one. Not sure what it is. we've gotta get you a better camera so you can post things like that as soon as they start and someone can tell us what it is. No big deal for now though, we'll just do another run of harlequin. We probably don't need to spray another plant, we could probably just use Quinn. I;ve got that clone I just put into dirt. I'll pot her up as soon as I think she can take it and throw her into flower and we'll start to pollinate her too.

15/15 GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!:yahoo:

I forgot to say this a few days back when the seedlings popped up.

After trying the soaking the beans in water for 24 hours before dropping them in the dirt, trick, I have concluded that putting the bean anywhere before dropping it in the dirt is a wast of time. Every time I have dropped seeds, they start to pop on the 4th day. I soaked the beans for 24 hours and then dropped them in he dirt, and it was still 4 days after putting them in soil before the joined the world. Thus adding a whole day to the process.

For me, there is no point in wasting time with these other methods. I just can't see the point in adding the extra steps.

Any-who. Hope you all have a good day. It's off to work I go :)

Interesting. I am going through journals and read this as I contemplate my next grow...paper towel never popped a seed for me yet

:peace:

Harley girl is still a crispy critter. Not that I expected those leaves to bounce back but I was hoping she might look a bit more robust, or something. Still a bit of green here and there, but not much. Maybe we'll see some change in a few more days. And yes, a decent camera would be very helpful. I'll put it on the list! I tried to get a photo with the chrome book but it was terrible. Not worth the trouble to load. Quinn, on the other hand, just keeps plugging along. He's a bit droopy but still green and ripening up the rest of the nanners. Tonight or tomorrow I will relieve him of some of those nanners. We'll see how my hands cooperate! Tell me again how you want me to store them please?:blunt:

pick a leaf or two that are still green and keep your eye on them. It might be too late for her. Hopefully we'll get a seed or two, if not I'll bring the cutting over and we'll see if we can't get a couple more from the cut, before Quinn is gone. I will look into the best way to go about saving our pollen.

Looking damn fine in here my friend, Bravo to your good self!!!

Thanks Light! Nice to have you around :high-five:

Hi Jade! I think you are exactly right. I have an ol' film canister ready and waiting! :thumb: I'll do some nanner pulling today and try and save as much as possible and hope for the best! Hope you are well, Jade! Hi Sweetleef!! :yummy:

It took 7 days to start showing, and I put them in the dirt somewhere between day 10-12. I hope your year is most excellent, Friend Jaga!

Got some bad news.

I have been attacked once again by mites. It took me two days to figure it out because I couldn't find any bugs.

It started a couple of days ago, I noticed a few of my girls in veg were clawing down. It was right after watering I noticed so I figured I may have overwatered them and I'd leave them alone, but I looked it up anyway. The interwebs told me that it was either overwatering or nitrogen toxicity. I was then heavily leaning toward overwatering because I don't feed my plants anything accept tea, and haven't done that in a while, and all of the plants in the recycled soil,(that had wheatgrass planted in it) seedlings, clones vegging and flowering girls were all fine. Also another plant of the same strain seemed to be unaffected. Can't be Nitrogen Toxicity. I then ruled out overwatering since the plant was getting worse as the pot dried out. I went looking again for shitty bugs, this time in the soil. It seems I have some Springtails, which don't worry me, actually a good thing. But I saw one tiny mite go by and then I couldn't find it again. I then looked up my plants symptoms with spider mite in the parameters and BAM Found plants that look just like mine do.

It turns out that these bastards don't always tell you they are there by hang their webs high. They will also attack from the shadows masquerading their damage as a nutrient deficiency, lockout, toxicity, or overwatering.

I used the entire bottle of SNS-217 I had and then found out how spendy it is. I then looked up how to make my own. In 2.5 hours I will have my own rosemary oil, fortified with a little cinnamon. I will dilute that oil with water and a couple tiny drops of castile soap and spray my ladies down every night for the next week or so, followed by twice a week for a few weeks. Down to once a week and then if I feel comfortable then, I will cut back to once a month.

I also took two cuttings off my rosemary plant and will be growing one in each tent as a companion plant. I also plan on adding a garlic and chive plant to the mix as well. If that doesn't work I will invest in some predatory mites or ladybugs.

If Nature is gonna come at me, I'm gonna Nature right back.

Lets take a look at he damage so far and see if Ol' SweetLeef can't get out of this one.

This is how it started, like she's got a Nitrogen Toxicity, or has been overwatered.
