Thanks Cerdito! Yeah, I'm just looking at Minty as a real good learning experience. His three little sister(I hope;)) are all looking great so far, so the spirit of Minty definitely lives on.

Dropped the Kush Van Stitch Autos earlier this evening, round two of autos is underway.

Clones 2.0 are looking very happy in their new bubble home. I had one clone in the corner where the air tubes enter the inside of the box. Moved her out of that corner and into the middle and 5 hours later she' almost fully recovered. I feel much better about this round than the last.

Steph and Dawnie are budding up nicely, Aurora is still not budding and is showing some sort of nutrient deficiency, but she's in TGA super soil and autos are supposed to want less nutrients, I think she might be getting root bound? It's not progressing very fast. I'll get some pics up soon for your perusals.

The three sisters are looking very nice. The Casey is still not open, but hasn't died yet either, we'll see.

Good day 420 fiends!

As I opened my tent tis morning, I was hit with the glorious smell of fresh skunky flowers!

I cant wait to harvest Dawnie and Stephanie! I am so excited, and they aren't even showing trichs yet. Although, that shouldn't be too long from now!

The clones look strong and healthy as we enter their third day in the bubb. the little lady I moved out of the corner is much happier in the middle. Lola and NePauina Rubio are still in the cloner and still looking alive. especially Lola. Maybe she'll root this time:)

I just walk into the hallway the door to the tent room and I smell something lol
only way the smell can come out windows are all sealed up lol
cant smell it once out of the hallway tho
 
If I wake up before the fan turns back on, I can smell them in the room, but once that fan is going you have to shut the tent for a while to be able to smell em. My filter is the shit!

Dawnie is just barely starting to get sugar on her lil' leaves! Couple days away from Trich City!

Stephanie is much taller than everyone else and her little buds are looking quite beautiful. She's so tall in fact, I had to rearrange the tent tonight. I'm board with calling it "the tent" From now on the grow tent shall be known as "My Lair." It's not underground....yet. but soon ;)

Anywho, Stephanie Tanner and Dawnie Narco are now on the floor, Aurora is on the step stool I was using to sit on and look at the girls, And the table has been shortened and moed oer to allow the autos to sit in a row. The seedlings are on the edge of the table.

The bubble cloner is working! Lola has two little fat roots sticking out of her stem, I cleaned the cloner and added more Clonex. The label says 4 teaspoons per gallon, I did 4 capfuls per gallon, which I would guess the capful is about 1 1/4-1 1/2 teaspoon. All the clones seem to be responding well to the cloner. I'll check the new goils on the 11th. 10 days after putting them in. Fingers crossed.

Also my lair has been rotated 1/4 turn. The doors were right next to my bed, so if I were to go in or out while my lady is trying to sleep, the light bothers her. I closed up the vents today too. I forgot how hard the walls pull inward with everything closed up, so for now I am running the air that gets vented back into the tent. Is there a problem with doing that? I've had it shut for about 10 minutes, I'm gonna wait another 20 or so and check the temps, if they aren't too high, it should be alright?

That's where we're at tonight. Fun changes in my lair, and exciting developments as well. :)

Hope all is well with everyone else. I'm off to walk the dog and then to bed. Another very long day at work tomorrow!

OK,

So it's not really night, but I haven't gone to bed yet, so it counts as night still ;)

Got some more work done around my lair tonight. Attached some old window screen to one end of some extra ducting I have, and attached the other end to the portholes. The ducting hangs down at the bottom port, and goes up and on top of the lair. The bend in the ducting as well as the length, and the screen should allow them to work as passive intake. allowing some negative pressure (someone somewhere on this forum says it's a good thing, but I don't remember who) But not some much that my lair implodes on itself creating a vortex in space and time forever disappearing into an alternate universe. Then some version of me will have twice the weed and I'll have none. Stupid alternate version of me has all the luck :bigtoke:

A quick update.

I watered the ladies last night, and Dawnie and Stephanie were qiven some molasses with their water! Hopefully it takes. I'm excited to see what they look like tonight when I get home fro work. I'm hoping to take a peak before I go, but I will probably have to head to work before the girls wake up today.

I hate leaving the house before I can check on them. Makes me nervous.

Disaster strikes!!!!

Oh man, up there with the worst news I could have received today.

My buddy who gave me the clones sent me a text message today that said "The ladies I gave you are infected with russet mites. Cut everything down and bleach everything, I'm really sorry"

UGH! NO!

The rest of work was so long. All I wanted to do was leave work to go check on the ladies and start researching how to fight these bastards.

When I finally got home, I went to chek the plants, and my 60x loope is nowhere to be found. I get a hold of a buddy who has a 10x I can borrow. Run to his place and back. Finally I can check the girls.

And fuck cutting EVERYTHING down.

I checked the autos for quite some time and as of tonight I don't see any on them. The clones have been in the tent for 7 days. I am probably F'd in the A, but just maybe I caught it in time so I can keep the fuckers at bay. I don't know, but Aurora is starting to bud and the other two have some nice little buds on them. Fuck these little mites! I will not let these things hurt my baby girls.

The clones and seedlings are gone. The Van Stitch autos haven't popped, but they are gone too. Too risky for such cheap beans. Tonight I will research until I fall asleep. Tomorrow I have to go into work early, but there is a chance I will have a couple hours to run around. At which time, I will hit up hydro shops and pick up whatever products are available and seems like worthy weapons in the month long battle I have a head of me. Then back to work. After work, I will strip the room to bare bones, and start beaching away at everything. Once the grow is through, I will bug bomb the tent and apartment and then bleach the tent again, followed by a H2O2 wash before starting again.

I really don't want to lose the autos. The clones and seedlings whatever. But I have buds on the autos. I cant give up on that. Guess I'll order up some more autos in the next couple day too.

If anyone has had any or knows someone with experience fighting these things, please send them my way!
 
Alright. So, with the pants flowering, it is looking like my best bet it Mighty Wash. Looks like a good deep spray with maximum coverage of all leaves top and bottom and stems as well. Spray just before lights out and then wipe off in the morning when the light come back on. It's supposed to be totally safe to use on your plant anytime of it's life and it's supposed to be wicked deadly to mites. Apparently they split into two parts. COOL! If that doesn't work, I'll dilute some rubbing alcohol and go the tedious route.

Fingers crossed guys. I need your good vibes to give me strength to face The Borg.
 
Just found out about Dr. Doom fogger. Says you can use it up until a couple days before harvest. I've got at least 20 days, so I think I'll throw some of that into the mix. Maybe I'll even use it first, after I bleach the room I'll double whammy the bastards with the fog and Mighty Wash. Then a couple days later Mighty Wash again. A couple days after that I'll hit it with the alcohol. Depending on where we are after that, repeat the whole process again.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated. For now, I must slumber.
