Bob and Doug are a couple of my favourite characters.

I went on a tour of the brewery where they filmed Strange Brew (Pacific Western Brewery in Prince George). It was a private tour with just the wife and I. We got hammered. Then went to a Bryan Adams concert, with Colin James opening. Woke up in a hotel with Wendy's frosty's all over the bed. If thats not a Canadian night out...I dont know what is lol.

*HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA:rofl::tokin: That is one of the funniest nights out that I've heard. That is classic UA! I can just imagine. "Lookookookookookookookookoo...HOSERS!" I had a cousin who was obsessed with Bob and Doug. He used to use their words manerisms, and I mean sober too. I can hear his voice now when he used to talk to me this way and we'd laugh and say it back to each other. Thank goodness for slapstick Canadian comedy. SCTV ruled.

Thanks for having me! :blushsmile: It's been hard to keep up these days, but I always enjoy spending time in your lovely corner of the world.

If someone hasn't already, I'll answer a couple of questions you posted.

1. Liquid sunflower lecithin - I ordered the Now brand from amazon and it seems fine. It is very thick when room temp, but can still be poured slowly to measure in a tablespoon.

2. USB microscope - mine is probably the same one that pennywise has. It is advertised as working with Windows and Mac, but the software is only meant for Windows. So the zoom and snap buttons on the microscope don't work because they require the software. My workaround was to download the Digital Viewer app for Mac.
 
Okay, so yours is working exactly the same as mine then. LOL! For $17, I'll take it. ;)

*I am making my first batch in 3 weeks. Been collecting what I need to make it in the MB2. So right now I'm harvesting and then I'll start making it. I also saved the leaves and cuttings for a batch too. I may have enough to make 3 batches of oil and 3 oz to smoke during that time. I have been working towards this moment for just over a year now. So I'm nervous but excited. ;)

I just harvested my Candida high CBD strain last week and made fresh harvest oil with it. A few buds were saved for the Dr Ziggy's low and slow method in the fridge.

Blue Dream CBD is my 1:1 strain that I hope will be ready to harvest in the next week or two. I'm anxious to try the higher THC version to see if it provides more relief. Fresh harvest oil for that one too, and I'll probably save more bud to use for quick relief from the vape.

*What kinda vape do you have? I have a dry herb one, but I want to try oil since I'll have it to shhhmoke too.
 
After a ton of research, my husband and I decided the Herbalizer would be the best for me. It was an investment for sure, but it can do dry herb, concentrates, and aromatherapy.

I might invest in a portable model one day. For now, the Herbalizer for home use is best suited for my needs. Also, we got the premium whip so that I can easily use it while lying down or reclined. The regular whip had a lot of reviews saying it tended to kink easily.... Didn't want to deal with that if I was having a hard day to begin with.
 
Even the potent infused oils I make require a hot oil bath, another safety concern.

Please don't attempt to make CCO in the MB2. It'll burn your oil. It's an excellent machine for making infused oils, but you worked too hard to grow this produce to lose it in the oil production process.

When I make CCO I set the pan in the living room, far from any flames and in the cross breeze off the river, to effectively evaporate the ethanol off. But safety is a concern. We had a member have a flash fire hit in the middle of one oil run, a process he's very familiar with. Thankfully the burns weren't too bad and he's all healed up.

He works with a heightened sense of awareness now. He still makes CCO, because when you're supplying for a cancer patient this is the accepted concentrate, but he's much more alert than he was that day.

I think it has to do with multiple dry/ cure techniques that I use.

If it's not a water cure or fresh harvest oil.
6 weeks average for anything else.

Once it's dry. It's processed for Smoke, Dry Rub Hash, Oil, Tincture, Shatter.

My harvest have turned more perpetual than my grows. Haha

Buds pulled from plant when main Cola hit 71% RH.
103gm right now. Probably finish around 90gm at 62% RH.
A couple more to go than on with the new grow.

Have to go update my notes on current harvest. Or I'll be so confused. Er.. more confused?
