Sunshine On A Brainy Day — PS Dwarf Star Lights Up My Life

Aww gee wiz..... You never forget the wonder of the first harvest, do you? Two years and counting, and it feels like yesterday. :laughtwo:

:Love::circle-of-love::thumb::goodjob::high-five::cheertwo::420::smokin2::surf::MoreNutes::slide::tokin::green_heart::popcorn::popcorn::popcorn::partyboy::party::peace::)Just sayin !

I can't wait for my first harvest. It has been a dream for so many years. The more I grow and the more I read the more I realize that the growing part is just as healing for most of us. We all have different things we are trying to heal and so different strains for different people. But the growing of a plant and its care no matter what strain seems the tie that binds us all.
Congrats on a fantastic harvest. Can't wait to see that kushie. What a beautiful plant. Teaser pic.

What’s Update – 100% Organic Garden & Brain Rehab – July 23, 2017

:welcome:Welcome to my Beautiful Healing Brain Journal!

Brain/Grow Rehabilitation Behaviour:

This week has been so busy with appointments. I’ve been referred to another set of cognitive classes that should be starting soon. It’s been about 10 months with counselling and occupational therapy, which feels like years. With more testing on the way in Sept and classes coming up, makes me feel like I have a full time job. When really, I WISH I could work full time.

Two days ago I had a follow up with my family doctor and it’s official, I beat Diabetes…for now. :cheertwo:

So proud of myself for doing what it took to get my blood sugar down to normal in 3 months. My tests came out with normal results which means to me that my ECS is ready for dosing. Even though it’s hereditary and I will always need to be tested; my body says thank you for not complicating things further. What a sigh of relief!

Mix with water and gulp it like a shot of your favourite whiskey sour, but without the alcohol. ;)
IMG_1722aE1.jpg

Everything right now is as balanced as I can make it can be. This should give me the closest and most accurate results when dosing. I’ve done everything to get off of additional meds, address more medical stuff, change my eating, exercising, juicing and so much more.

It’s all about extending my life expectancy to exceed what the medical system says about Neuro Degenerative Diseases. Prove that brain injuries aren't death sentences.

I really feel that when Cannabis becomes legal, that there are going to more and more patients like me whom will seek out alternative therapy SOULutions. I predict the growing market will become saturated with brain trauma/disease patients wanting freedom from processes and meds they’ve be subject to for years. Especially athletes!

I hope one day I can become a medicine detective and help others, to help themselves, to regain their freedom back. But I have to stay alive long enough to do it…that is my goal.

Mr. Amazin wears his shirt during harvests so I'm gonna sport my 420 because I like to follow tradition.

Let’s start off on a positive note and check out this picture from the Dwarf Stars’ Perspective.

Quote of the week: “Harvest is HERE!”

My humble garden of positive change awaits you…

Comments:

*This weekend I have been cleaning out the Dwarf Star room in order to get the CBDream clones ready for harvest. Gosh what a mess, I thought I was clean but I found their leaves everywhere. I guess quadruple the space, quadruple the work. But it’s ALL worth it!

I have already started back-building for the next 2 weeks. Since harvesting the Kkush, there is more room to bring the CBDream clones closer to the light for their finishing time. Easier for me to clean around.

IMG_1990aE.jpg

Each CBDream Clone needed some string wrapped around them to prevent their branches from falling over moreso. I had to hug these mini trees in order to get the string around and boy did I get a face full of trichomes. I had even rolled some hash off my fingers once I was done with them. Impressed my husband with that little trick. Wink wink

I was covered from head to ankle in trichomes and leaves after cleaning my area. What a huuuge job. Immediately took a long salt-soaking bath in hopes to get the smell off me. I went from my little wired-bin grow area to an entire room. But do you know what that really means, my knowledge is getting bigger and better.

* They are maximizing their space and outgrowing my starter pots so quickly. I have a 5 gallon and 2x 2gallon pots all mixed and waiting for the transplant. Again, this is my first time starting the training early and then just I won’t have to deal with forests, more room for bud. But I usually like to give clones more time to figure things out, we’ll see if this SNID technique works for me. Come on girls, give momma trees of medicine.

*Thank you for reading and giving feedback.

*Sometimes you have to break the rules and stop following the fools. Sometimes you have to shine and ignore the grapevine.

:thanks::Namaste::high-five:

*Response to SweetSue...:thanks:

You'll catch on quickly. The MB2 requires at least 2 cups of oil to work properly.

*Is Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Okay?

Decarb first. The Dutch proved that 110 degrees C for 110 minutes gets maximum THC conversion. I follow the same for CBD. I may have special instructions for CBD around here. If I find them I'll drop them by.

*Can I do this with my cuttings and leaves as long as they weight an ounce?

You simply put the decarbed buds (don't grind them up) and carrier oil inside, close it up, choose temperature and time and go. I use either 2 or 4 hours (usually 4) for my oil that I make in this machine. Others go as long as 8 hours.

*Okay fair enough. Thank you

The MB2 makes the job very easy. You'll love it. :battingeyelashes:  Great idea to add it to your juice. Do you juice cannabis leaves as well? The acid cannabinoids are valuable for inflammation, especially THCa.[/QUOTE]

*Nope. Should I juice them with my juice or decarb and put them in my oil? I have CBDream leaves & Kushie Kush cuttings and leaves.

Is Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Okay?

* Extra virgin olive oil is preferred. :battingeyelashes:

Can I do this with my cuttings and leaves as long as they weight an ounce?

* You can decarb anything like this. I don't understand why they have to weigh an ounce. Please explain that part of the question.

Nope. Should I juice them with my juice or decarb and put them in my oil? I have CBDream leaves & Kushie Kush cuttings and leaves.

* Juice them with your morning juice. Once you decarb the THCa is converted to THC. The recommended dose is between 10 and 25 leaves a day. No euphoria occurs with THCa.

Lovely harvest pictures and I particularly enjoyed that picture of you in the shirt. :woohoo: How smart of you to remember to save the TV box for drying purposes. :high-five:

A question dear, how much apple cider vinegar do you drink in a serving and how many a day? I recently upped my own consumption to a tablespoon in 8 oz of water, three times a day, minimum. I add a bit of stevia to temper the tartness. I'm also about 30 pounds overweight, and I'm hoping this consumption helps that drop away in time.

I drink that much because I also have scalp psoriasis, which indicates gut inflammation. It's likely at the root of your brain inflammation too, which is basically what causes the brain disorders. The pectin in the ACV binds to things in the gut that need eliminated, sparing the probiotics that would be sacrificed for that job if pectin wasn't there.

This helps keep a higher percentage of gut flora working on your behalf, hopefully reducing inflammatory response. I need to start back on the probiotics. I let myself believe I needed the money for other things, and I'm thinking now that my gut health is the most important thing.

*In the manual it says you can put UP TO one ounce of botanicals per session, if that is what you call it.

* Juice them with your morning juice. Once you decarb the THCa is converted to THC. The recommended dose is between 10 and 25 leaves a day. No euphoria occurs with THCa.

*Really good to know! I have been freezing leaves since I started this grow. I'm gonna post my juice recipe next time too.

*Thank you so much, that is very kind of you to say. :thanks:

*1 teaspoon a day with water. That's all. Don't know if I could stomach more, so I started small. I swear by it today. My husband is amazed at its' healing properties, and no side effects but feeling full. ;)

Congrats on the harvest, the CBDdream will give you another nice harvest. The kushy clones will be as awesome as their momma. .

*Thanks PW xoxoxo! Now that I can correct my mistakes, these ladies should make their momma proud. I do wish I got more, but I doubled my last harvest, and I have four more plants to harvest. All under one light. My goal was to reach a 5 ounzes total for my first grow. Always gotta set goals, can't wait!

Congrats on your first harvest.. it looks fantastic!!

*Thank you sooo much Toasty, 4 more plants to go! ;)

This wonderful journal has kept me up an hour and a half past my bedtime! You are truly an inspiration and a beautiful soul. I wish everyone could experience the kind of loving relationship you share with your husband. That is what life is all about. I would do anything for my Mrs.

After power reading through this journal I have to say I think you have made great strides in reaching your goals. Good job!

Your plants are looking fantastic! Of course now I will be following your journey and you can count on my support!
