Sunni - a Pheno? Clone

Sounds like your hubby has some real good nurses tending to him.

:adore: much respect to Registered Nurses! The true hereos of hospitals!!!

Well said!

Any jack-ass lacking bedside manner, can learn medicine, But it takes heart to be a true healer.

(LPNs rock too!)

Hey there Tmac - Sure hope you and the hubby are doing well. Glad to hear that the recovery seems to be going well. It's so tough watching loved ones go through these things. Make sure you take good care of yourself, too. Hang in there T!

Hi all,
Hubby is doing well. He was sent to the progressive care floor. They have him up walking, and have started removing different meds and tubes. He wanted me to come home for a few days, hoping I could get some rest, so I drove back last night and will return Sunday. Still cant sleep good yet. Thank you all for the good wishes and positive energy. I am starting to try and catch up with the journals, will work at it between naps. :tokin: I will also get some new photos up!

tmac.
clots are not a light matter.....i get/got them all the time....serious stuff....i have a blood disease that causes my blood to be like jello....so have to take blood thinners for life....its genetic also, they didnt even know of the disease until ten yrs ago....the opposite of hemophilia.....it nearly killed me before they did alot of dna tests....for me, i go monthly to ck all levels, and adj. meds...at dr....and yes it is inconvenient, but death or stroke is more so.....they poke me, and we adj....stress sets it off alot, and if i get all wierded out, then it weirds out the levels also....one reason i have a nerve damaged back and leg....blood clots....i let it go...didnt know what it was....and it is what killed my father, only they didnt know about it then....not light crap....he had stint, and refused meds....hes not here...that simple....sorry, but some things you dont get to be stubborn about.....but its mostly all fixable, and they found it before it got him, so hes meant to hang around....good deal....wishing him all the best, and i know how scarey life can be.....
p.s. been working on all those goodies we came up with....will have to send you some when finished, so you can see the results of the brain storming....love and hugs, L:Namaste:

Have you ever tried that "XXXXXXX" recipie for marijuana "tar" medicine? I read a couple of people that had something of that nature, it really helped them with it, actually got to stop taking their meds because of it. Something about the synthesizing of the whole plant, taken in small doses, reacts with the natural thc, etc., in our bodies. I think it might be worth a try.

Yo get some new pics up!
please ;)

For those Tmac missed on her daily news reports (she was slightly stressed) here's the short story : I had a quad bypass last Thursday - and was discharged this pm. Maybe they were just tired of my 'dry' sense of humor.
Thanks so much for the positive vibes, kind words, thoughts and prayers. I can't adequately express how much it meant. Ive got a couple or so months of rehab (no, not that kind of rehab) and should be good to go - hopefully in time for Magfest.
Later all, S

lol, not that kind of rehab... Well, glad that you are both doing better. Tmac, sorry to say but I kinda think, maybe you should try smoking herb and drop the Cancer stix... Please don't hurt me. :)

hope all is getting alot better and going well....people heal faster when theyre upright....that vent tube is awful....so moving is important after surgery, also keeps other goodies from happening....take care, hugs, L:cheertwo:

T, glad to hear you're both doing ok.

I know we talked about smoking before and I wish you all the best on quiting:cheertwo: I picked up one of those cheap e-cigaettes today and I think this might actually work. I picked this up for $20, prolly gonna return it tomorrow and get a better one cause there is a air leak and it's kinda hard to hit. I'll let you know how everything turns out

My thoughts and well wishes to you and hubby

:peace:

Hey 52, actually look at where it screws together... if it is anything like mine, you will see 2 little places that allow air to come in. It you hold your fingers over those places it will allow you to take a better drag off it. Took me a few times to realize that.
Been hard to catch up on the journals.... hope to start reading them again!!
Thanks :)
T
