Thanks guys for the good words.

Update on hubby he has 5 blockages 4 which are 95%or better blocked. one only 50-75%. He is having a 4 or 5 way bypass instead of a stent. He still cant figure out why he feels so good. I think he has been very lucky and blessed! I will be checking in and out for the next few days. I am pretty depressed at this point but trying to keep my head up and my attitude positive. I always like to look at the glass half full, as some of you must know. :tokin:

Wow. Good thing they found the blockages now. Prayers for boh of you.:peacetwo:

Thanks for the prayers TT! I am blessed with friends I have never met! And I am grateful

Well, Phooey ! :smokin2:
I feel for you and I know it's hard not to be depressed. He's actually really lucky.
An angel is watching over him.
I'm sending back your good vibes.....you need them more than I do right now.
All the best to you two! :rasta:

Makes me take a hard look at staying on a regular schedule with my prescription statins, I'm so bad about taking my scrips.

Being 29 for the last 13 years has taken its toll on me and I do need to be taking those thing more seriously.

Hi All,
He ended up with 4 bypasses. I got to see him at 4:15. He was still out of it. Some good drugs on board. He looked real good. He has a nurse that is taking care of only him. He was still connected up to all sorts of monitors and the breathing machine. I think he knew I was there when I touched him. He tried to open his eyes, but doesn't realize he cant breath on his own yet. The nurse gave him some more drugs and said they will try again in a while. It was pretty early for him to be waking. She said they always fight the tube at first. He has to respond to some questions before they pull the tube. Visiting is very limited even for me while he is in icu. If all goes as planned he will move to the 4th floor tomorrow. I can go visit tonight for 15 minutes at 8:30. I got a hotel for the night, I am pretty tired right now. Thanks for all the good wishes. He will be back on his feet soon!

Ouch, life is so scary some times, I will pray for a speedy recovery and some peace for you... Good luck...

Just left the hospital. He is doing great! Has the tube out and has already sat up on the edge of the bed. Those nurses are tough in the recovery unit. He will be having labs at 2am, ekg and chest xray at 4am, sitting in a chair by 5am. He has to do a breathing machine every 2 hours. He is eating ice chips. And has his sense of humor. Him and the nurse are going to have a burping contest, when he feels better. He will get a liquid breakfast.

I can go see him at eleven. But she will call me at 7 and let me know how he is doing. I am getting a shower and going to bed. I am exxhausted.

You're a heck of a woman Tmac!
Best wishes to your hubby for a speedy recovery! :MoreNutes:
Sounds like your hubby has some real good nurses tending to him.
My wife had some good ones last year for surgery....I loved the way they work...upbeat, positive, funny, but most of all they had this ability to push my wife and not let her dwell on the pain....had her up within hours after the surgery getting her to eat the ice chips and everything too. Like they took a stand of your surgery is over, it's all rehab from here on out so lets do this and get you back to livin' life to the max. My wife took that positive energy and never looked back.
:goodluck: to you and your hubby!!!

:adore: much respect to Registered Nurses! The true hereos of hospitals!!!
