Thx sonzor, they are very sticky and very strong smelling....got a feeling they will be very good soon! Even the leaves I chopped off were very sticky, got them drying in a box, for some butter later!!

I've really just started to discover the joy of edibles -- yum! I can't wait to make some more.

Might make some muffins tomorrow. Have some butter I made just before hub had to have surgery. He would probably enjoy a nice muffin!!!!


Wow I almost forgot all those hours of "ball-pickin" and horrifying the guys! Dont want to have to do that again for 4 plants! This last one I had topped, and it did fine I think. Actually want to taste it, (not a pot smoker usually) as soon as it is dry enough. I think it will be stronger than the other 3 plants, but they are very good too.

I am still not getting good rest/sleep. Always exhausted it seems. I dream so much and so vividly that it is like I was up all night. I took Chantix last year (had to quit due to the dreaming). But now has come back, seems to have intensified. It is causing me to be a bit OCD. Also feeling guilty about smoking, not cooking the right things for hubs diet, and even not getting caught up on journals. I try to block out lots of stuff when I am like this. Play a stupid game for hours, coz when I do I dont dwell on anything else. Does any of this make sense? Dont even feel like the same person I was before... Thought I should explain why I have not been on much. I do miss you all and miss the humor, and comrodery (sp) of the people I have met here. I might go see my dr. and see if I can increase my antidepressant some..... but in the past when I have gone thru something similar to this it usually just stops and I bounce back to the old me. Like one day I go to play my game and cant stand it anymore!!

Spouses in the hospital, trying to quit smoking (Chantix screwed with me so much and the wifey can't take it because of her condition) trying to stay busy (at first I was playing Call of Duty online then burried myself in my grow) and depression is hard to avoid but a nice Sativa usually helps me with that

We always talk about how resilient our beloved plants are but we are a resilient species as well. I'm glad the hubby is doing better and my wife and I send our prayers out to you.

Thanks for the prayers Dime. I actually have started feeling a little better. I have been spending some time sitting in the sun. Caught up on a couple journals, though I did not post on them. But that is okay. Daughter flew in today from DC and goes back tomorrow...had to see Dad, she was in Spain when it hit the fan. Not playing the game near as much. websudoku is what I play.

Yes the old VW sign... just sold our 88 van Wolfburg edition, last year, it could not handle the mountains we live in now. Have some friends in a vw club and they also have a vw repair shop, they did some fixin and sold it for us. Had some great times in that van, still in great shape. It retired to Florida, nice and flat there!!

Sorry to hear about the kids... seems something is always going on with the kids. One of mine is about ready for a divorce (3 grandchildren to worry about).... finally... she has finally seen the light!! We saw it years ago!! My other one is smart and knows she could never handle raising children.... she travels instead!! Hugs to you Lav

You must have had sticky fingers from all those recent harvests. Those last pics look especially frosty.
Sorry to hear about your recent ordeal with depression and meds. I struggle with depression too, but heve never taken meds for it. I'm not much for pills. "Antidepressant may cause thoughts of suicide." How does that make sense? Ha, ha! I also need to quite the coffin nails. It's a real tough thing to do. I'll have to take baby steps. I'm glad you hear your coming out of your funk now. Yesterday was the 1st day of Spring and hubby is doing well. So, have a few puffs, come out of those winter blues, and out into the sunshine!

Life is overwhelming at times, best to take it slow and do whatever you need to take your mind off of it.

Btw your kushies look great, and yeah some do have a citrus smell to em..usually a lemon like scent. That is one characteristic of the Larrys i grew.

Glad it is spring, I'm absolutely happy in spring. Things flowering and looking pretty! Hubby is doing great and doing some walking now, has started therapy and is doing good.
