Sukafr33's Third Indoor Soil Grow

They shouldn't kick you off. It's a forum, you expressed some concern on the treatment of new members and you did it politely. You are a contributing member of this community as anyone else.

In a sense you help this community by sharing your thoughts. Some new members would leave if they do not feel welcome. Im also aware that most of the regular members are very busy looking over multiple threads and that can be overwhelming.

As a new member, I do not feel anyone should be obligated to look at my journal. Im simply grateful that a site like this exists which allows me to have the chance of getting real help from real hobbyist growers. in the last 2-3 months i have learned so much.

so Suka, Keep doing what you are doing! :bravo:

Good Job Suka...I don't see why they would kick you off for helping newbies like myself and others. You're not being disrespectful, so nah. I have never come across anyone being rude here. I am sure if it were to happen someone would jump in and put that person in their place. I am glad you and others are doing what you're doing to help out the newbies of the forum. Otherwise for me, it would be endless searches...So ya get a big :bravo:

Thanks Queen, I try to help others just like others helped me when i was new, but lately things have kinda changed on here, so thats why i try and encourage people that have been here for awhile to just try and take a couple minutes and help the new people out, dont matter if you dont grow the same way or not, its all basically the same thing, lights, nutes and plants, so thats why i also try and help as much as i can, but again thanks for the kind words Queen, means alot!! :tokin:

When saying things as you have to members here and on other forums just watch yourself because no matter what's portrayed by online personas there's very real cliques around, mess with the wrong person and you could be kicked off or whatever. I don't know what I did wrong but my whole journal was deleted which is why you won't see a journal here by me. Just watch yourself, keep your personal info personal and you'll be fine, getting banned for a good reason isn't so bad but it shouldnt go that far.

As far as your transplant question, don't transplant after flipping to 12/12. What happens is you'll stress them out just enough to throw off your finishing time probably by at least a week. Once in flower you don't want them doing anything other than producing buds. When it's time to go into 12/12 they should be 100% healthy and need nothing but light and water/nutes, no transplants or nute changes once you start flowering.

Don't sweat the other bullshit here, do your thing make some friends, learn something and try not to rock the boat to much.

Suka how are the clones doing?

Been gone a few days just trying to see how things are going.

the clones are doin the same lol, they still look exactly the same, i haven't seen any root tips poppin through yet, but their still standin tall, haven't really noticed any growth on them either, look basically the same as the day i took them, hopefully roots start poppin through and i start seein some growth, its only been 6 days, most journals i read people start seein them around 9 days and on, so i got my fingers crossed and hopin they pull through and make it, i mean i used Rootech cloning gel, suppose to be one of the best so we'll see...:bong:

good luck on your grow suka....i'm watching....i'm a newbe......thursting for knowledge....peace

if you got some time take a look at my first and second grow, tons of info, and thanks for joinin in, hope my journals can help you..hope you stick around!!! :tokin:

So the clones didn't make it, the tops of them turned brown, there was no roots at all, even the bottom of the clone was turnin brown, so i just did away with them, i think i might go ahead and take some clones anyway, or i might just plant some seeds from this bagseed that i've been gettin, i dont know what kind of strain it is or if it is a good kind, all i know is that it gets me rite where i like to be, and off one nice size bowl at that, so i've got like10 seeds out of and ounce i would say, and the seeds have nice color to them, the tiger print or whatever people call it, but nice and brown with black spots, but the seeds are small, their not big like im use to, is that ok?? so i think i'll go ahead and get some dixie cops and after i germ them i'll go ahead and start them in the cup.. I'll go ahead and start them in the tub that i made, i put 3 cfls in it sideways at the tops of the bin, but its not too close to the top to where it would be touchin it, so i'll give that a try and and maybe i'll start just growing like 2 plants at a time, that way i can pay more attention to them , then havin 4 plants in there and havin to shove them in their all tight and shit, so maybe they'll be more bushy and have bigger buds, I guess i'll just have to give it a try and see what happens hopefully it works out!! but yea let me know what you guys think about the seeds... when i get back later and water the plants i'll take pics of the tub and stuff.. I'll be back later, im gonna go to the grow store and pic up some soil and maybe a couple pots..:tokin:

Damn Sorry about the clones.. That totally sucks. if bagseed has been working for you all this time i dont see a reason not to use it. More seed, More weed. I don't have any bagseed at all. Since i get my stuff from a co-op, nugs ive gotten havent had any random ninja seeds.

Although I wouldn't mind some from what I'm smoking right now.:thumb:

That sucks they didn't root. If you have not flipped them to 12/12, I would try and take a few more clones. This way you have the chance to experiment and try to figure out what will work for you to take clones. :thumb:

Sorry to hear about the clones. Might as well say F it and give it another try with a few more, can't hurt right ?

And also you can take clones after you switch to 12/12. I've done it up to 3 weeks after flipping with no problem. Rooted just as quick, maybe an extra day or two and the plants that the cuttings were taken from showed no sign of stress or slowed growth compared to their sisters : )

I even had a clone with calacs forming on it during late flower because It turned out to be a strain I liked so I tried a last ditch effort with 1 cutting and it rooted Woohoo !!! This one took a little longer to root and for growth to return to normal but it this one was under quite a lot of stress as it was a late flowering clone and had to begin revegging. Anyways, Good luck and thanks for your input. The plant I was feeding molasses is really starting to swell and put on some weight, so I'm afraid that i'll be starving it the last two or three weeks which is supposed to be the most crucial time for bud production. I'm torn between letting the bud reach its full potential and possibly overfeeding it causing it to have stored unused nutrients after harvest. OR should I risk starving it the last two-three weeks for nutrient free bud but possibly losing valuable yield and potency ? I was questioning whether to use molasses up until harvest because i've read several places that it is compared, or similar to the fancy carbo loads that nutrient brands sell which helps plants ripen and form maximum crystal production during the final stages of flowering ? Are their certain nutrients I should feed the plant until the chop to improve the overall harvest without any ill affects ?

When you took the clones, did you scrape the sides of the stems before you dipped in root gel?

yes sir, like i said i took it from the bottom, they were really small, thats what i think it was, i cut them on a angle and then scraped the bottom about a inch from the bottom maybe alittle more..

75-83, and take this with a grain of salt because I am far from an experienced grower, I believe is too low for clones... I have found that clones that are in temps closer and in excess of 90 stay much perkier, root much faster, and have a much higher success rate than those under. It could just be me, but if you can't raise the temps you could put a heating mat or something under it... Just a thought. It could just be your cuttings... When you cut it did you slice the tip or make any notches in the lower stem to allow roots to form?

Hmmmmm...:hmmmm:

That all sounds good....Being they were small, did you have any nodes on the clones above the cut that were scraped & planted in the medium? Many times, the rooting will occur first at those nodes, so it's a good idea to have 1 or two below the surface.
