Sukafr33's Third Indoor Soil Grow

75-83, and take this with a grain of salt because I am far from an experienced grower, I believe is too low for clones... I have found that clones that are in temps closer and in excess of 90 stay much perkier, root much faster, and have a much higher success rate than those under. It could just be me, but if you can't raise the temps you could put a heating mat or something under it... Just a thought. It could just be your cuttings... When you cut it did you slice the tip or make any notches in the lower stem to allow roots to form?

yea i believe it was the cutting that i took, like i said it was just to small, next time i'll most likely take it off the top and use a heating mat, and maybe not have the peat pellets so wet, but your rite, it could have been a couple different things, i have more hope for next time though, and thanks for the help Thawk!!! :tokin:

Hmmmmm...:hmmmm:

That all sounds good....Being they were small, did you have any nodes on the clones above the cut that were scraped & planted in the medium? Many times, the rooting will occur first at those nodes, so it's a good idea to have 1 or two below the surface.

yea see thats how small they were, they really didn't have any becides what you see, i mean they were SMALL.. but yea i scraped them, and i cut it on a angle, and then dipped them in the rootech for a nice couple seconds to make sure they had enough on them, them i put'em rite in the peat pellets..it had to have been the cutting for sure..well better luck next time lol!!! i'll get though, definitely!!! :bong:

Well i got some pics that im gonna post but i wanna take a couple more, because just over night the bud sites look like they have gotten bigger over night, i cant wait for another week or two when they really start gettin big!!! but i'll have some pics up within the next hour or two, pistils poppin everywhere already, LOOKIN GOOD!!!! :yahoo:

WELL??? What happened? Where are the pictures? Where are YOU, SukaFr33?!?! LOL! I hope you're okay, my friend! Well, don't feel bad, I took 12 clones, my 1st time ever, about 3 & a half weeks ago, and about half didn't make it. So I just took 6 more yesterday, and I feel more confident every time. I'm learning so much more everyday on here, so the new ones look even better than the first ones do already, because I learned to take the right ones, with longer &/or more mature shoots, and from the bottom up and all. So I'm hoping that while these new 6 take about 2-3 weeks to build roots, the 1st set, which is only 5 now, & are actually much smaller than all the new clones except for 2, so I hope in these next 2-3 weeks, that the 1st set gets bigger and gets caught up, size wise, which they should, and then they can ALL go into flower together at once, all 12- my xmas bud! I think yours will be fine! You are an excellent grower, and help out me & a lot of people...but I know when it's our own plants though, right in front of us, it's harder to just relax and not worry.....I'm always praying for you and all my friends & their gardens on here to stay safe, healthy and happy! So I am here for you, bro....and I hope everything turns out all okay for you. Much love and respect to you,
RVG :peace::Love:

Where are those pics haha? I'm sitting at home without any bud, need pics! How far into flowering are you? My second wave is at week 3, would love to see how they compare. I have never finished a grow so I am unsure what happens to the buds near the end, still haven't figured out how the pistils will become buds but oh well.

As far as cloning, thanks to rv for saying it for me... If you want a big healthy pretty clone, take a nice, healthy, pretty clipping. Remember, as long as you don't go too clip crazy, taking healthy clones will only get your mom to branch off and create more clones.
Regardless of your clone taking method, getting a good clipping is absolutely necessary.

Are you putting any kinds on special nutes on them for flowering?

i hope not cause i really dont have the space, i have an inch maybe.. im glad i have my set up the way i do, all i have to do is unplug the lights from the power strip and just plug them in closer to the other set of lights, i dont know i guess i'll have to wait and see..

Just looking through your pics again and thought id extend some advice or maybe get a better answer here. My plants didn't show trichomes until 30 days, whereas I see others covered in 16... My room runs a littlenwarm and a little humid and that's what I was told was the reason behind it. SO, if I'm wrong someone shoot me down quick, but in case you wanted to maximize your trich production, it might be good if you could lower your humidity some. Just a thought.

And yea you never know with the stretch, some of my plants in flowering now didnt stretch?! How odd... Maybe my plants are defective haha. Best of luck to you!

yea i was gettin ready to read about trich production, and what the temps have to do with it, because like i said in the update, my temps and humidity have been high and both the same for the past week or two... hopefully the temps start to lower considering the season is changing and its gonna start gettin cold out, i just hope it hurrys.. one of my last grows was during the cold season, you can definitely tell the growth change in the plant when its cooler out compared to when its hot and humid, and then when its cool out the plants wanna grow like wild bushes, and then when its hot, they dont wanna grow worth you know lol.. but yea i hope the cool weather hurry up and comes cause this heat is killin me.. :tokin:
