SubCool Supersoil In SIPs With EWC, CBD Autos For Aspergers

Am I seeing Amber? Or not yet? (I'm not really sure where to look.)
Wow, crazy trichome production...well done!

Yes, you need more magnification to see close-ups of the trichomes with clarity.

These days I'm using my phone's excellent macro lens. In the past I used a Carson MicroBrite Plus mini hand-held microscope w/ LED light, no cam, $16 on Amazon. They have another model for $20 that accommodates a smart phone to use as camera.

You have to look closely through magnification. I use a 40x (I think) loop. The hairs will look like little mushrooms at that magnification and it's the little ball on top that has much of the cannabinoids.

They'll be clear when they get built, cloudy when they fill with cannabinoids and some will start to turn amber as the THC begins to degrade into CBN, the sleepy time cannabinoid.

Then it's grower's choice as to when to harvest.

Mostly clear = not ready yet
Mostly cloudy = more of an energetic, "up" high
More and more amber = couch lock, body stone.

It's almost the end of the grow. One of the 3 each AMXXL auto females went hermie. I'm guessing there's probably two or three weeks left. What do I do? Wet and then cut out all the male flowers and let it run?
Or is it cut and hang?
(There are many flowers.)
Thank you 🙏

Have they shown any pollen yet?

If you've got lots of milky trichomes, it may be just time to harvest. Did you work out better magnification?
Good question. Yes, I have better magnification but it will not take a screen picture.

The trichromes looked just right (a few amber, not many) on most of the plants.
The one AMXXL was not ready but she had a zillion make f,owers, so I cut her also.
I left the scraggly little kush auto in the corner, and probably I will find a sunny spot for her next week, so I can shut everything down (and get this fan sound out of my ear).

It is not too bad of a bad crop. I could have let them get a little bit bigger if I had had more time, but we were trying to shut the electricity down, so we can move everything to the farm.
I hope to visit the girls on the farm soon. I guess they had a rough transition but they are doing ok now.

I was very pleased that we had no mold in this grow! It was a very pleasant and welcome surprise.
Now we will see how things do re: mold in a plastic greenhouse outdoors (haha). I am sure it will be much higher level of mold challenge, but I am sure that we will find the right plants that will grow and be happy there.
In March we will plant when the locals plant, and then we can start to get things oriented.

Thank you everyone for all of your help and advice! The grow would not even be close to the same without you.

Ok everyone, THANK YOU!! :thanks:
I am going to ask the admins to close this thread, and we will transfer over to the Greenhouse thread.
I hope to see you all there!
