Strawberry Cough? Yes Please! LOS Grown

You're a productive fella.
I'm cleaning and organizing my nutes and various bits of clutter.
Trying to keep myself busy. Stayed in bed too late this morning.
Staying in the rack isn't a bad thing. I'm jealous, having shoulders and neck that gives the bed a bad rap. I'm a recliner sleeper. Glad I can hit the weed now! It was 50 last night here. Getting cold.

Camping weather.
I have to have an ultra firm mattress with no pillow top and no pillow. Pillows kill me.
I used to do the recliner thing for about a year. Mine was pretty comfy. It took a bit to get used to the mattress again.

Hehe I get a sore back from visiting and hotels. It is what it is. Camping weather huh? You're a tough bird! I was the hiker camper poster boy back when. Not today. I'll take room service please.:cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm going to Minnesota next weekend or the one after. My girlfriend and I are going camping.
I used to winter camp a lot. I have a few -40 sleeping bags. Electric socks help a bunch, they really make such a difference in your comfort. I probably won't be needing those but I'll bring them just in case.

We were talking this week and I found this from August 7th from Teddy E :

Just putting the word out that there is a back-up of 420 Magazine prizes.

The woman who did all our shipping has moved on and we are training someone new.

Moreover, we are awaiting new shirts because the last two batches were ruined by the supplier. They got the logo in the center of the chest, instead of closer to the neck.

Apologies for the delay.

Thanks Teddy

WooHoo! It's a fine day when I can organize seeds. These Chill-OM's that @Cannapot kindly sent me for finishing the Lemon OG Candy Grow look like I'm going to love them! Thanks Cannapot. 10 regular seeds! I went to Mandala's site for info on them and found I've been starting seeds wrong in every way. Hehe. They have a really good section called grow guides with tons of really good information. Some specific to their seeds, like how they want them started. They say to take a seed and put it a half inch in the soil. Wet it and don't cover it. Period. There were other general things I don't see at a lot of other vender sites too. I recommend the read.

Hey jack, I know they are really strong growers. This one even still has un-countable bud sites.
Mine I think hyt like 7 ft indoor but def a winner in my book I’ve Ben creeping on here checking her out lol

Highya SO,

I have a couple indicas that look awesome. (I can't provide pics, as technology is very difficult in our house) I tried a couple samples, and I think I'll leave them for a couple more weeks. Sativas are stacking nicely. Has been good fall growing weather. Must be the same down there? Personally, We're trying to keep peace between our cat (oldest) and an Akita puppy who don't like each other, lol. Cheers

I'm glad you're having a good year. It turned out much better than last. Keep the direction and hope for a long fall. It's a shame those two can't find some common ground. Sometimes fences make for good neighbors.

Good Sunday afternoon!
I have sweet news from the farm. I've been collecting microbes and making Lactobacillus serum for uses beyond my imagination for now. Today the milk based microbe delight separated into curds and whey. It's been just about a full week in the low 70's. I have to see if it separates more, then remove the whey to put to work. Curds can get made into cheese but not this time. They'll go out to the compost heap. Thanks for making it look tempting @Emilya, I haven't been able to stop reading on it for weeks. The uses seem endless. Chris Trump does good work with the concept of Korean natural farming and this is one of his tools among others. Anyone interested should see his info.
I'll be separating it in the next day or two and mixing it with equal amounts of molasses for storage at room temp. This is powerful stuff. From there it gets cut again by 20, then can be put to work in the soil or on the leaves @ much lower amounts like a tbsp or 2 per gallon of water. I have to get the amounts right before I do it. That's the beginning, it can decompose anything I want to put in my plant. This stuff has as many uses as imagination opens to having read on it for a while. It's going to be fun to see what I can do with it. Maybe time to give the soil a soak this grow!

I bet it smells downright delightful in there.
I had the scrubber running until yesterday. The second day I got a stinky atom in my nose once or twice. It was stomach turning! Went away and now smells like I'm brewing or raising bread. It was horrible there but only bits, as if it wasn't everywhere in the room? Oh yea downright. Hehe. You familiar Sky?

Highya SO,

I'm extremely pleased that you like the lactobacillus serum and Korean Natural Farming principles. Ive been doing both (FPJ, FFj, Seaweed and Seawater), and the lactobacillus serum quite often. My only measuring stick that I know for sure, is this years tomatoes. My Amish Paste toms are as big as my Abe Lincoln (heritage breed) toms. It's crazy. I was like that when I first discovered those things. I still read about KNF at times. Wait until your next year harvest!!

My ladies are stacking so much better than previous grows, and that could be my imagination. My Indica strain has massive buds, nearing chop day (?), and my Sativa ladies are stacking better than the Carnivals did last year, and they're mold resistant to boot. I have been spraying Lactobacillus before the rainy/foggy periods to see if I can get through a harvest without botrytis. We'll see. Cheers

The closest I ever got to rotten milk is a day or two past the expiration date or when it gets lumpy. I don't handle fowl odors well and I bet one wiff of fermenting milk would make me vomit violently which itself sounds like it's own bit of joy, lol.

I'm the same way. There's no smell. I do it all right on the kitchen counter in mason jars. Really easy, no smell. Cheers

That's fighting fire with fire Bode! Regardless of your imagination at this time, this is outstanding growing and you're having a year. Tomatoes are the best, I wonder how or if they'll taste different?
