Strawberry Cough? Yes Please! LOS Grown

Do tell...
Ok ,but I have to warn you that there was some illicit drug use involved.

I went to see Willie at a casino amphitheater. We ate mushrooms about an hour before the show. That was all super fun and strange in itself. Amazing show!!!!
The weirdness occurred when we went back through the casino. Casinos are pretty overwhelming when you are not on mushrooms, so you can imagine the sensory overload I felt. I went outside to have a smoke and calm myself for a bit.
A tiny Sioux elder dressed in western wear walked up to me seemingly out of nowhere. While my friends went off to party ,I sat and smoked cigarettes and talked to him and drank some whisky. He taught me how to give tobacco offerings and told me some stories of his youth. He told me the creation story of his people.
He knew I was on something and it didn't bother him in the least. All he said was that I was using the "ancient medicine" that shows the path of "truth." I'm sure that he could figure it out just by looking at me. My eyes had to give me away, my pupils were huge.

At one point we just stared in each others eyes and everything was really silent for a while. I remember the wind kicking up and him singing to me. Coolest thing that's ever happened to me, hands down. One of the finest humans I've had the pleasure of meeting. Just a simple man full of kindness, willing to show it to a complete stranger. I wasn't having some out of body experience or going on a spirit quest or anything like that. I was just really in tune with this really soulful man. The conversations were just so amazing.

My friends said I was gone for about five hours and they thought I was lost or dead. It only felt like a very short time to me though.

I think this man saw someone in distress and just did what comes natural to him. He was just so calming and giving of his time without judgement.
It sounds a bit cheesy presented as a short story on a forum. Without telling you the story face to face a lot gets lost.

I love this story. In my 40's I got an uncontrollable urge to learn about native american spiritual ways. I happen to have contact with folks who were somewhat native and learning themselves so I joined them for a couple of years of fellowship focused on that.
I found (certain) native folk to be tuned in to the little things like you're talking about. Humanity parts of life if you will. The real McCoys have been kicked around or been close to someone that has, and have an understanding of life that many of us are clueless of. You might have met this guy. His song was likely a prayer. Thanks for sharing. I have lots of memories of those times and it's nice to chip off some rust covering them.

I am! Just the AK-47 remains and it comes down Saturday. Then I'll have nothing vegging or flowering, just the mothering clones in solos or 1 gallons. It's gonna feel weird on Sunday for sure.
You had a huge harvest this season! I can't imagine the work it took to bring all your plants to fruit. Must be 3 pounds?

I used to live in So. Minnesota. I lived a block away from where the Mdewakanton Sioux had their Pow Wows. It was cool to wake up to drum circles every morning. The drumming always brought the bald eagle up from the surrounding river valley. You could see about a dozen of them flying above. Turkey vultures are just as curious and will do the same.
They are really cool people in general.

I thought so. Cherokee were the folks here. Crazy and nice and nice and crazy were they.

Happy Thursday
As I watered last night I noticed some hairs going red on buds and new ones filling in. Sweet. The buds are getting a swell. She's an amazing and curious plant that is bent on dropping most of her leaves and putting the light on her fattening buds. IntheShed coined the phrase, "self defoliating" last grow for mom and is spot on.
I'm changing my thought on how I feed this grow. I had the impression I was the weak link in the health chain that makes her drop her leaves. I thought my actions/lack of brought this reaction. I'm not convinced now since I let this go pure water for so long with the same results as a completely different style grow.(her mom) It might be me but I don't think so. I'm dealing with a twisted individual that is running on the same program her mom did. Whew, that being said, I'm getting an AACT brewing today for the next watering. Yesterday I put .5 ml Mammoth P/gal. The gloves are off!
Now most of the leaves are gone or dried and small so we can see some bud.

Stripping to show off the bod, and a heck of a lot easier to trim. That's one cool plant!

And you may get to put the machete away as well :).
She's a head case but I looove her! I think there's a tv show there. Here's my theory: When i dropped the normally growing 2 or 3 day old seedling, I broke a developmental link to process phosphorus by roots properly, giving the last option of getting it from it's own leaves. Remember mom was a poly grower after the fall so something changed and I also witnessed another seed from the same order grow a perfectly normal plant. I'm glad this one is almost done, it's time for casual.
