Stocking Up For The Apocalypse: Goody's Perpetual Grow By The Beach 2020

Stay cool! Do you have A/C? How’s the drying going on your harvest? Your auto looks great! I’ve never grown auto so interested in care compared to photoperiods!

Another and quite unique outdoor lady- this one is really from my other journal but I sort of wrote it off about a month ago.
Well, she’s back. A fluke.
Dope Seeds Zkittlez AUTO. 83 days old, just getting into flower.

I have already harvested her sister plant and am smoking it lol

Born around April 3, I put this girl outside at about 20 days old and we proceeded to have a huge run of cloudy and other shit weather.
She’s been sitting there doing nothing, about a foot tall, for the last 2 months.
Now with the current heat wave and looong days here up north, she’s come out of her shell.
She has swallowed a gallon of water in the last 24 hours. Growing and stretching normally like an auto half her age.

I am already in herm patrol mode from my breeding project, this one won’t be any different. Any day she could pop berries and ruin the rest of the garden, so I’m keeping a close watch.

But for now, happy to have a big topped auto outside and growing strong. Glad it likes the heat cause it’s a scorcher here this weekend.

She got an initial amendment of 5oz @GeoFlora Nutrients (veg) and then a 5oz top dress at about 3 weeks old. Since then, just hose water.
That’s pretty impressive. When will you feed for again?

Now that she’s growing full speed I’ll give her a top dress of Bloom. Going by how she’s doing (no deficiencies) and how my other plants responded, I’ll be giving 3 oz instead of 5 oz.
Will supplement with Purpinator at or before the next top dress.

Your auto gsc looks phenomenal Justin :thumb:
Thank you sir, I appreciate it.

Yes I have A/C but RARELY need to use it. This week though....jeeez. It's keeping the house cool but the garage and plants are a bit higher than I'd like at 83-85 midday. They don't seem to mind so far, watching for heat stress though.
The harvest is doing fine and is in jars, safe. Getting a little smoother every day.
It's HOTTER THAN A HOOKERS DOORKNOB ON NICKEL NIGHT
You got that right. Seattle is suppose to be 108-113 tomorrow.
It's just simply never been that hot here, in all of recorded history.
Glad I live on the water and I can swim. I can't imagine being out in the woods with no air and all the flies right now. Grateful for my spot here.

Spoken like a true Woodstock survivor!
I was at *Woodstock (1994)
Not as great as the first one but we did meet some great people, and sampled some tasty New York weed.

She’s fittin’ to be a big girl in a month or so.

My indoor setup- The grow area consists of 3 tents. Two of them are 2x2x4 and one is 2x3x5, all situated on top of filing cabinets in the garage. Avg temp in the garage is about 77F, with a dehumidifier keeping it around 45-50%.

I hope you will all follow along, enjoy yourselves, and not take anything too seriously. Happy growing and please don't hesitate to say hello! :nomo:

Hi Justin.

Could you please tell me why you've set up your tents on top of the filing cabinets? Doesn't seem very practical to me. Are you 10 feet tall?

Like many growers would probably say…”because that’s where they fit.”
And no I’m not 10 feet tall, in fact I’m barely half that ;)
Below the tents are filing cabinets full of 2 Gallon jars full of cured bud.
Also Hash making supplies, backup electrical stuff (and lights) for the tents plus nutrients.
It’s everything I need to grow 50-100 oz per year of Indoor good stuff, and store it.
And the whole thing only comes out 2 feet from the wall, so I lose almost no garage space.
Do I have to step on a little ladder several times per day? Yes I do. I’m a house painter so I don’t really care about a step stool a few times per day. I guess that’s on the short list of downsides.
On the upside, bugs don’t like to climb giant metal filing cabinets and I have very few problems with crawling pests. Also no worries about cold ground slab temperature affecting root growth.

I didn’t have room to go out, so I went up instead. It makes sense to me.
Thanks for asking, I hope I cleared that up.
:hookah:

Bruce Banner looking really nice. It has one of those shapes (like my green crack) that shout quality but maybe not so much quantity. We will see, I need to figure out what the hulk eats with this first grow. We can work on size next time.

That's the answer I expected you to give but if that was the only place they fitted at our house, we wouldn't be growing at all since Felonious and I both don't like heights. And, besides that, I fall a fair amount walking on flat ground. Getting me on a ladder holding a plant would be a recipe for disaster. o_O

Wookiees auto (#2) doing great.

The others all moved outside and are doing well so far.
This was the strongest grower, showing plenty of female parts and was ripe for training, so she stayed.
#1 was topped , #3 left natural and put out into the sunny weather where they are thriving without training.
