Today is day 69 for Priscilla :cheer:, she has shown symptoms of calcium deficiency for a week or so now. And apparently a nitrogen toxicity since ive been using to much during flower. Ive adjusted the doses for the the other two ladies. Thanks KIdgrow. Her leaves are beginning to yellow and crinkle up, which i gently pick off the stem if they do so easily. like i stated last post ive begun the flushing process wit her today. Her cola tops are starting to thicken up and are very hard already. Tricomes are 90% clear as of now. ive layered the top of her soilless mix with a 1/2 inch of fresh promix before saturation ,is that dumb? it seemed that i could see some roots at the base of her stem.

Does water falling on thricomes deminish the potency? Anyways all progress is good progress for now, i want to avoid her flaws with the other two girls. No one said this would be easy. But tanks to folks here the burden is a little lighter. Always looking to learn from those who know, Thanks to :420:

Cheers guys and gals. Rest of the ladies will be displayed tomorrow.

dont know mate since you flushed why throw extra nutes on? pro mix is pre fertilized soil i think. right?:cheer:

I may I have made it confusing, Priscilla is no longer receiving any nutrients, straight Ph'd water. It's the other girls who are getting fed. I'm using promix'bx, it is a soiless mix with no nutrients, only thing in it is micorizal...the two others are about a week behind and two weeks for Maria.

Do I harvest with a wet pot or dry pot? So that I can time it properly.

Having now done both, we'll be harvesting the rest from a dry pot, a day or two past when I would have normally watered them. Just an opinion.

Not at all, all the good stuff isn't water soluble. That's how bud washing and cold water extraction works.

Well! I decided to buy a humidifier for my tent this week. I was also looking for a better hygrometer to confirm my current readings of 10-15% RH. It's seemed to be really low and I trusted the reading from my piece of s@$& hygrometer I got months ago. For weeks I've been soaking a towel and hanging it up in the tent. I also brought my bubbler in the tent and would spray the walls every now and then in there mornings to raise the RH. My old hygrometer showed 40 % after an hour of cool misting, Then I looked at the new meter. Hahahhahah

So it turns that my Rh is actually 40-50 %, and is climbing quickly with my new humidifier. Jesus! I've been Driving myself nuts trying to figure out how to increase the Rh. Goes to show that the old saying, you go cheap, You grow cheap.

All is now fine in the world of Stinky Snid's laboratory. I've also started construction of a veg/clone cabinet. Will be showing it off once complete. Maybe an update on fabrication if I'm bored today.

Updates on girls this afternoon

the new seedling area

the impromptu veg area

This area will be to get a head start on my next cycle of autos. My goal is to be two weeks into growth before the tent frees up from current run,in an attempt to have a semi perpetual grow. Plus with separate areas I can bring up the humidity for the veg cycle more love for my babies.

I'll be dropping that top shelf another inch I mis-judged the height of solo cups. Otherwise it's a revamp of my old cabinet. Half the size and twice the lights, that's good math by any means . it's break time now and I'll be having a good vape to bring the my energy level down after several hours of concocting my new cabinet. Girly girls update is next up after my break.

Looks good Snid, but how far away are those CFLs?
yeah it looks like you could get those lights closer

The T5s on top are going to be 2-3 inches above solo cup rim. As for The cfls fixture underneath (veg cabinet) I've yet to place anything in there. The Buckets will be raised via a stuffed flat cardboard box to bring them off the metal shelf and to raise them towards the lights. Keep in mind I may need to add y-splitters so I can add more cfls if so required. Up to 4 bulbs per socket, max bulbs possible for fixture (safely) 16 bulbs. 23wX16=368 watts. Ha too much, I'm not flowering In there. I'll be using 2 max per socket, that's how my three current girls were brought up. Pot sizes vary so I'll be finding things(paint cans) to put under the pots if they are still too low. No worries mates, Stinky Snid is pleased with your observation. Maybe I should have detailed my plan a little better, but if it's the All the same thank you guys for any and all input. Makes me feel like I'm not writing for no reason. :thanks:

After adjustments... :Namaste:

This makes it all clear :) Great plan, Snid! I really love this box!

Thanks for the clarification, sounds like a good plan.

I'm going to watch your grow regardless, so I'd rather see you succeed as much as possible. Struggles are a bit heart-wrenching sometimes. :)

Mistakes are unavoidable for me. im just getting the hang of this, my first attempt was an outdoor plant that started to flower and i forced her back into veg by bringing her inside. This is what started my adventure here, totally uninformed about every aspect of growing. my plan was put in the soil and then harvest when it was ready. lol . total insanity , right? Then i tried again from bagseeds, got one male and one slightly hermied female. She seeded herself and produced zero smokable buds. but i got plenty of good seeds(all fem OG kush). now onto These girls, they are overly loved and way too smothered. But ive kept my finicking with them to a minimum since they're autos. But through many adverse problems and annoyances we end up with nugs like this. God bless the natural beauty of cannabis.

Simple picture update for her, i did a weekly summary yesterday. Ive plucked some of the non photogenic leaves, which also opens up the light for the popcorn trying to poke through the canopy. Ill add this. DAMN that's sticky. I can see the end for her now...ill keep my fingers crossed, but te flush is on. straight water from here till the end.

I suggest laying off the nutes and using ph'd water from here on out, I think I see burnt tips. ;) But I do see a calcium deficiency there. Are you flushing at this point time?

Yes sir. Same girl we discussed earlier, that's a bud off Priscilla. She's on the final stretch now. im guessing 10-14 days. You're the man kidgrow!

What's the diagnosis of her light green leaves. Shes about a week behind Priscilla. Her stems are stretched out more since i released her LST restraints early, but her pistils are everywhere. I Hope this allows for more light in through the canopy leaves. Like i mentioned previously ive altered her feed to omit nitrogen in base nutes. This may explain her light green colour. Ive got high hopes for Nadine, let the experiment continue.

As far as thing go about runts and abused plants, Maria is a fabulous looking gal. She's been topped and fluxed, then accidentally coderized at one tip. You can clearly see the 3 main shoots and then a bushel of tips one the one side. If her sisters are any indication of what she will look like in a week or two she just may be the most beautiful out of the three. I am going to be mosst careful with her until the end.

Thanks for being there everyone! Happy growing to all!

I'd like for you to meet my newest additions to the family
First off is wonky Winnie a freakish white widow fem. From CKS
2016-02-01_23_28_49.jpg

next up is her twin and non retarded Ellabella a.k.a "StellaEllaBella"
2016-02-01_23_28_17.jpg
Also from CKS the only surviving seed from germination process of my two remaining northern lights auto i attempted. I decided to look into Hawaiian names, this is my Leialoha, meaning darling child
leialoha_day_1.jpg

Moving on, as for the names sake for this pineapple express auto from Barney's farm This is a name meaning "the second child" Kalua
kulua_day0_5.jpg

I've got them in the nursery under 24h T5s. And are on a heating mat.

Haven't decided if I'll add them to this journal or log their early life and start a new journal when this one wraps up. Or have two journals going... Idk.

Ps. Most of the names are chosen by my better half, I've tweaked them a little but it's all approved
