Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys
Great post CareStaker! I've noticed the very same thing - THAT one! < I can feel my nostrils flaring when I see THAT one - a sort of a tight stinging sensation - expecting to catch some refined and interesting scent. There's something about the thin stacked-chevron buds that calls to me, y'know? Like wheat kernels. I know some other choice will probably get me more stoned, but those individual sativas are far more entertaining.
You guys really need to run a Brazilian! Utopia Haze is highly entertaining! (yuk yuk ::)
I think DJ said something about harvesting by smell. If the smell in flower fades, you went too long. I've tried it on a BD, and although I had many clears, and almost zero amber, the final effect was much improved over just using time/color/trichs/pistils/calyx as guides to ripeness.
The sativa expression of this plant, is truly amazing to me. I do like indica, but it's not the same really. Nothing puts me more in tune with myself, another, or the planet, like a clear sativa high. When you find one that you like, you remember it vividly. That's what draws me to the look of your jarilla. It's as if there's some forgotten instruction set in our brains, that if remembered, would say - eat/smoke/vape THAT plant.
