Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Systems

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

Beautiful skinny leaved girl showing her sativa. Bummer bout the seeds. You won't know what ya go till ya grow some out. I know I've had some rouge pollen seeping out contaminating my next couple crops with crappy seeds. I have to read back a page or two. Hope she smokes sweet. Keepem Green

So cool. Rocking and rolling Conradino!:high-five:

Thx a lot! I'm back by the way after short holiday. I've been to the south of Italy with my wife for few days. I ate very well, relaxed more and got tanned too :cheesygrinsmiley: In the meantime heatwave broke here eventually so I can go and check on my Auroras if they're alive. Update is coming so stay tuned!

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

I cannot even tell you how happy I was to see all 5 Auroras perfectly healthy after almost 4 weeks without a drop of rain! They're growing on a top of the mountain nearby on an old platform which I cleared from the bushes beforehand. They have very nice metallic hue and dropped only the lowest set of leaves, so local terra rossa serves them well :thumb: Now you can really see how this strain looks when grown outdoor in the ground, it's lanky and very OG leaning, but extremely strong in my hot climate!

Conradino!

Did you give them some water when you saw them? Just curious if you hiked some up?!

Not an option, too high up. I'd die if I hauled some and a mile long drip is obviously something I just cannot do, not even cause I'd need a pump, but it would be noticed. I brought some lithothmanium though and sprinkled it around, and then I mulched to keep the base fresh after the rain. This spot is as gorilla as it gets, survive or die kind of grow.

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

No it's nothing, but they survived mainly cause they tapped into ground water helped by mycorrhizae, and if they are still alive they won't die. It takes a toll on the yield obviously, but I have to have water and a towel in my backpack to get there, and with more weight on my back I just wouldn't be able to make it.

Con, LOOKING GOOD, stud. You know if you had topped those every three sets like I told you, they would be a hell of a lot bigger, even more healthy and bushes you get a lot more product out of. These plants love to be topped, it makes them thrive. TOAST Good job though, your makin me proud dude.

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

Yeah I know I just topped them once, but they were planted so far away from my place and it was too hot to go and do it again. Well, next year I'm gonna do it properly.

Ultra Dogs are coming :tokin:

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

Ultra Dogs are starting to flower, stretching is apparent and they all start to form flower cups.

This is a confirmed male I want to use to pollinate a female next to it and get F2 that way. I topped it shortly after taking the picture cause it was getting kind of big and I don't want to have pollen everywhere. I actually consider stripping it to the bone to leave only few branches so it's easier to control the pollination. It reeks of pine and the stem is very sticky.

Re: Still Growing - SoCal Hybrids & Mexican & Colombian Sativas Under Sun Natural Sys

As you might have guessed, I find your Jarillo de Sinaloas mesmerizing. :circle-of-love:

What a lovely strain! It's so elegant and classy in its natural environment, mph! Gorgeous!

It wouldn't look anything like that indoors. I need to move south and grow outdoor fluffy sativas!
