That's what I thought. I can see some trich degradation, and also some clear ones hangin around, so I got a bit of leeway... Just getting impatient!

Cheers, dude. The hairs are awesome! She didn't really have any trichs til about 5 weeks ago, and the pistils just kept coming.. My first official sativa, so it's been a learning curve! Had to look up sativa/Haze a lot to make sure she was on course..

Cheers, Black; yeah, that's a scary amount of time...! I plan on getting some Golden Tiger (maybe order today if I get a chance...Seedsman have em back in stock); I think they are up around the 14 weeks+... Dunno if I can wait that long...!!!


Cos I've been so slack, I'll shoot down now and get a couple more pics; try to get some closer shots in the natural light...
She's been good, actually... Very slow, but no surprise there...
And if you go back a few pages, you can see how she just packed on the weight in the last few weeks. Quite interesting to see. Even the Ghost Train Haze from the first grow was much faster (more indicative of a true hybrid, I guess... some OG in that one), but the buds were definitely indica-like in structure,
Arjans is very loose and "fluffy"; thick, but very long and stretchy, as opposed to stocky/dense, just like I've read about/seen pics of. If I let her get too dry, the buds get very light indeed... Gonna be another depressing drying experience watching her shrink!!
Not a strong odour; very "weedy" with a hint of lemon up close. Smelled like nothing 4 weeks ago!
Yeah; want some Golden Tiger based on Weasels awesome "real-time" smoke report a while back!!! Everywhere has been sold out, so Ace must've finally pumped some more out..
 
I definitely gotta get a better camera for this... So much for natural light... Too "Golden" at this hour.. Plus my shitty phone auto white balance..

I ordered more GT seeds about a month ago from Ace. Hopefully arriving soon. You won't regret buying it. :thumb:

I'd leave your Haze longer. I'm not sure how many plants I'm looking at but it would be nice to see some of those green leaves yellow a little more. They do seem to sit still at the end sometimes. I think part of the difference is they don't have all that resin production to gauge things by- they usually look a little dry and leafy anyway.
The sativas I've tried to leave extra extra long (to see what would happen) started a sort of reveg thing. It was subtle at first but they just kind of sneakily got leafier under my nose while I was watching them. Yours seems pretty far away from anything like that still.

I have a little Chocolate Mint going, on your recommendation. Actually the second one now. The first one mysteriously died when it was 3 inches high. No idea why but I guess that stuff has to happen once in a while.
I have to say I was very underwhelmed with the small whitish unviable look of the CMOG seeds (once I finally got the package open) but -both the ones I tried have sprouted so my instincts were wrong there.
 
Weasel, gt, many different phenos and do you know which one we are looking for?
 
Hmmmm no. Actually I've got no idea at all. :hmmmm: You know I've barely researched that strain. I just had that one seed and threw it in the DTW project. I just saw one that Major Pita grew which looked cool. And then mine which was this big heavy phallic looking thing. I'll have to go read up now. Probably we could find some info from that Dubi guy who posts...somewhere.

Cheers, Weasel... I know you like to let em go a while, but you were my next stop for advice on this..
Yeah, just one plant... The extra green in the leaves mite be the N I was giving her till about 3 weeks ago... Might've kept that up too long; I wasn't sure. She's had nothing but water for just over a week now, so we'll see how she responds.. I would LOVE to see some yellowing leaves, believe me!!
And I'm glad you mention resin production, or lack thereof... She's frosting up nicely now, if you use a microscope! That's cool; I was expecting that from research, but still weird. I was gonna chop this weekend; I'll monitor the trichs and see.. Don't mind waiting another week or 2... Why not? And there is still quite a few white pistils, although mainly down lower...
But I am trying to crack 2 new seeds; one is popped and in coco, the other is pre-crack.. 2-3 weeks I reckon I can get away with if both seeds are cracked by tomorrow, which would put the Arj ending up at 16-17 weeks....
So probably spot on!

Looking forward to trying the GT; assuming the seeds get here, it might be a while before I grow one, but definitely this year... Sounds like a real treat! Insanely strong, trippy/happy.... Great reviews everywhere..
I hope your Choc Mint works out. The one I just grew is not as choc-minty, or as strong, (and smaller!!) but is still nice tasting, good quality gear. This one's more mint than choc, which is still nice anyway..
I don't recall my seeds being small and/or white-ish though... Bit of a bummer.. Mine weren't huge or anything but, yeah, they just looked like seeds..
 
Hey guys.. Just a quick check in..
Got some photos to put up, but not til later. Another busy Saturday here....
Will be harvesting the Arjans Haze #1 tonight or tomorrow due to unstoppable, devastating, VERY inconvenient natural phenomenon known as the "Visiting In-laws"..
Arriving any day, I just don't have anywhere to hang this thing out of sight; they'll be here for a week or 2 at least (!!! Based on past experience, it'll end up longer !!!), so all grow operations will cease for the time being...
My one seedling (from 3 seeds; thanks again, Bonza) is the fly in the ointment; I'm not willing to toss her, esp, as it'll be just the one plant at this stage, so I'm gonna have to wing it and hope she doesn't dry out...
Shouldn't whinge; they're cool people... But, you know; now I gotta give up my spot on the couch for a while and pay for other peoples 30-minute showers and have another bloke sitting on MY toilet...even if he is related to the missus..

That last one stings the most...

I'll be back later to post photos, then the harvest photos...

Sucks, right??? As a sensitive, yet lazy man, I try to clean up any 'mishaps' before the missus sees.. Keeps my in the good books , with the plus that she doesn't get the shits and make my clean the toilet!!
Seriously tho', I hate a dirty toilet.. Who uses their own toilet like a public toilet???? Gotta wonder, right?? Some blokes don't even notice the pool at their feet, or the splashes on their shins.... How is that even possible???!!!

She is now hanging to dry. Lost most of the weight yesterday in 40 degrees... She'll be in a jar tomorrow arvo...

My one seedling ATM is a First Lady, or White Widow; can't remember the breeder off the top of my head. I'll look it up...
On top of the impending Inlaw visit, my small light failed also. I got the big one (unplugged one array, so it's less bright/hot/etc; working fine) but now I'm nervous cos it's 2 years old... Need to get a new light. Can't afford a Hi-Par yet (gotta visit Fez to see how his is goin..), so I'm gonna go for a Mars 2 400. Cheapest option; supposed to be a good light. And only 150watts, so significantly cooler...
Also, ordered new seeds!!!
Seedsman only let me order 1 measly Golden Tiger... Popular!!!! So I hope it pops... Ace must be laughing!!! Seems they've invented everyones (now) favourite Sativa!!! Can't wait. Might grow it at the end of winter so it'll flower before it gets too hot...
Also got 3 Barneys LSD, which got me 3 free Pineapple Chunk. Yay!! PLUS: 3 Eva TNT Kush (+ 2 free Eva Black Dream..Jamacian+Domina!!!); 2 Dinafem Strawberry Amnesia and a bunch of other Seedsman freebies for using Bitcoin: White Widows, Jack Herer, Blueberry.. Twice the freebies than the order!!
So now the finger-crossing stress-out period for the next few weeks to see if they actually show up... I REALLY hope so. I waited for that GT and also the TNT KUsh is supposed to be awesome.....

I had a nice black dream, mildly trippy smoke.. but quick tolerance build up.. haven't read any other good smoke reports on Golden Tiger except weasels, who have you? Regs or fem? I want to get some regs to cross with, from the plants that ive seen.. I get my info from icmag, only problem is trying to stop laughing at the name calling or chest beating.. I think the breeder pisses on the cushions over there..who said they were a good light? Should be tarred and feathered..

I read a few smoke reports around the webs; a few grows also.. Nice and hardy too, I think. M
Mine is just a single fem, so I hope it's a great seed!
 
Should have grown out my TT in the tent instead of popping a PC but still got a clone going so maybe next run I will veg one up. I only have the one seed too. Well now a clone. Mine was extremely sensitive to everything. Didn't want to grow nice at all.

For a seedling it was crazy lanky too, like an old school Thai. If I had that under a hps it would hit to roof in a week. But cause I paid for the seed I'm giving it a chance still and see if I can figure out its mysterious ways. Else I'll bin her.

I want to see these smoke reports :goof:. all Ive ever been able to find are reports like; it's the most potent shit ever, trippy and paranoia inducing, wake up next day still high, says my mate that grows it, lol.. weasels was the first one that I read from somebody that actually smoked it :rofl:

Ones I read were like that... Some said a hangover cos of how strong it is!!
I haven't read 10 or twenty journals or anything but 3-4 smoke/grow reports from the last few years that seemed legit...
But yeah; it was Weasels post that made me look into it. Hard seeds to get! So I'm hoping that means it's fair dinkum..
