Thanks for the encouragement shed. That break I took over summer messed me up. I feel like I may be starting to get back into a groove.Bushy is right! Looks like they're getting what they need, other than a broken node or two.

Hey thanks for stopping by...I'm an old computer geek and I like trying to automate things as much as I can. I never really grew anything before growing my wife's medicine so I figure if I can capture data it may help me figure things out. Keeping journals has really helped. I can go back and compare to my past grows. This one seems to be going slower than others and they also seem to like cooler temps than my durban poison or cookie wreck.Really digging the scientific observation and overall lab aspect you’ve got going on in your grow!
Well I think you’re doing a heck of a job! Some genetics just respond different and take some time but I’m sure they’ll do what they’re meant to do I wish I could learn to automate some stuff because my caretaker has to handle watering due to my mobility issues, I’ve often thought of using a raspberry pi and a controller to mix a reservoir of nutrient solution as well as automate pumping times but that’s a discussion for another time I used to be a Java programmer back in the days when Java was huge (03-2011) so I have my fair share of knowledge on software and what not. Awesome to meet someone like you here!Hey thanks for stopping by...I'm an old computer geek and I like trying to automate things as much as I can. It was a shaky start and I've made some mistakes along the way, but I'm hoping they grow some legs and take off now I want to flip to flower next week and I've got quite a bit of trimming to do, but I'm not going to rush things either.
I use mycodo open source monitoring and control system. I run it on a raspberry pi 4 and I built a relay box for turning the feed pump on and off and controlling humidifiers and fans. I also use nodeMCU wifi enabled arduinos to manage sensors that feed data to the system via an mqtt broker I host on the pi.I wish I could learn to automate some stuff because my caretaker has to handle watering due to my mobility issues, I’ve often thought of using a raspberry pi and a controller to mix a reservoir of nutrient solution as well as automate pumping times but that’s a discussion for another time
Thanks shed! Hope you're having happy holidays!Looking good and happy holidays Stardawg!
Yeah NL1 was probably the best looking seedling until I fried her with the mammoth. She just kinda grew around the top that I pulled over to the side of the bucket. She hasn't been topped at all.It seems pretty dark and tight down there so I wasn't sure if you were thinking it would make it to the canopy.
Thanks @iamhim...I hope you're new year is off to a great start. I've been busy busy, but in a good way. I typically do my report when I change out the reservoir which I try to do every 7-10 days per the General Hydroponics recommendations. Looks like this week it'll be closer to 10-13 days.Happy New Year, Stardawg!!
thanks Him...Training isn't my strong suit. I probably need to trim more of the lower stuff but it's such a flat structure I don't know what I should remove...and that PQ2 is crazy bushy. I will definitely be flipping to 12/12 this weekend so we'll see how it goes.Looks absolutely beautiful my friend! Keep on keepin on’
I believe the plant will thrive and perform exceptionally no matter what route you take I have a friend that trains and grows similar to you and believe it or not, he yields exceptionally well as long as he gives in about 2 weeks of vertical growth. My training is actually similar as well in the early stages lolthanks Him...Training isn't my strong suit. I have to say that this grow is a visual lesson in patience and stick-to-itiveness! It's amazing that plants that moved so slowly in the beginning can turn into those lush bushes. The queens got the royal treatment in a quick training session tonight...
