Stanks Switch It Up In 2019

Thanks HH!! Very happy with all of the outdoor lineup. We have been getting blasted with rain finally the last 3 days and man let me tell you what, EXPLOSIVE GROWTH. Pics to come!!

Yeah I keep a good edge on the chainsaw LOL, gonna be fun!! Watch out, I might be calling you over for reinforcements when its time to chop em!!

Good to see ya Sparkey....hope all is well with you bud!

:passitleft:

Krip, good to see ya bud. Thank you my friend....very happy with the condition of the ladies! Things definitely looking up in Stankville!!
All of your plants look awesome Van Stank!

I had to chuckle when I read about your Fastbuds Blue Dream'atic. I dropped one of those a few months ago and it grew like crazy, reaching nearly 3 feet tall in about 60 days. Problem was there was no hint of flowers. I put it in my photo tent under a 12/12 light cycle and it turned out to be a photo. Here she is at 17 days post-flip right after I supercropped her. What's going on at Fastbuds?

I have some 6 footers I will be putting into all the untopped girls this weekend. Thanks for chiming in Beez! We live on a really windy hill, and they get have been getting their asses kicked since they went outside. Its amazing how much stronger they are than the indoor girls.

I have heard that about Greenhouse's seeds, especially their SLH here lately. The SSH was a freebie from Seedsman on a breeder promotion from 2017 or 2018 and the SLH was actually purchased. I only popped one of each and they both sprouted with no issues. I know Greenhouse seeds can catch a bad rap at times but I think overall I am 5 for 5 with their stuff. I certainly can't say that about all the other breeders stuff I have tried.

I hope you have as good of luck as I have had with them.....are you going to journal them?
I was going to run two SSH in my 4x2 tent but decided just to run one plant if its anything like your monster girl..lol
Yes, hopefully i can start my journal back soon with the SSH. Currently running Black Cherry bop in Veg and when they flip to flower should be able to start the SSH.
Great tp hear from you bud and hope you and Family have a great 4th weekend..

@Sparkey224 Since I switched my seed germination method to hempy solo cups my success rate has increased a good bit. I have a small plastic bottle in which I have white beach sand. I drop the seed/s to be germinated in the bottle and shake shake shake for a bit. This removes the resin that can dry on the outside of the seed shell. I then take a solo cup and fill it to about an inch from the top with perlite. I put a small drain hole about 1.5 inches up from the bottom. I then add water till it comes out the drain hole at the bottom. I do this the day before I drop the seed in so the perlite has a chance to absorb as much water as it's going to. Then I use a tweezers to make a small hole at the top about 1/4 to 1/2" deep into which I drop the seed. As a rule on the third day your seed will sprout. Once in awhile it may take a day or two longer but almost always on day 3 your plant will sprout. I put a clear plastic solo cup on top to keep in the humidity and set the cup onto a seedling heating mat. Here is what this looks like in the solo cup.

I just love that growth explosion that happens after rain
Labyrinth (Clone) - Exotic Genetics - Flip Day 32
is extremely pretty! Lots of the use around me is for PTSD (we’re quite a bunch! LOL) so that’s piqued my interest on both counts.
a beautiful strain to grow
Exactly :yummy: and really, that’s more than half this whole trip isn’t it!

Its very cool to see Dad so strongly in those 3 different crosses. Really excellent :)

Oh hey, i meant to ask - what size pot is the Labyrinth in? :Namaste:
She is in a 5 gallon.....needing water every day and a half. Thirsty girl. I peeked at her this morning, she's starting to flop.....gotta break out more bamboo stakes and ties!

Just wanted to take a moment and wish all my American brothers and sisters a very Happy 4th of July! This along with November 10th are my two favorite days of the year! I am unapologetically prideful of my country, having traveled the world and seen more than 30 other countries....there is no other country I would rather have been born into and call home.

We are having a relaxing day with the smoker going with baby back ribs and a Boston butt. Hope you all get to enjoy your day with loved ones.

Learn something new!
I never heard of a Boston Butt before, and I lived in Boston for about 15 years.
It's just the other half of the shoulder. The picnic shoulder is one half and the Boston butt is the other half. I like the Boston butt better.....they cook faster and are easier to "pull" in my opinion.

Flower Tent 2 Update

So....we might be running into a bit of ummmm...room issue with this batch. Probably ought to have flipped a week earlier but someone (the doofus writing this right now) wanted to be greedy and have them a shade on the big side. I'm going to to have to be doing some super-cropping here real soon. Not a whole lot of extra space with these 5 ladies growing like mad!

We don't have much room between the light and the top of the BCP and Garlic Sherbert, so those two are likely the ones that will be getting put through the bending and twisting torture. I'm going to throw some bamboo poles in there now as well to get some stability.

Black Cherry Punch (Fem) - In-House Genetics - Flip Day 9

She's getting close to the light....right now she's about 6-7" away from the top of the Next Light Mega.

Garlic Sherbert (Clone) - In-House Genetics - Flip Day 9

Same thing with this un-topped lady....she's about 6-8" short of the light and not showing signs of letting up. Both these tall ladies gonna get super cropped.

Super Northern Lights (Fem) - Beez Seedz - Flip Day 9

She's not nearly as tall as the leggy ladies but she's rolling along and starting to have the buds form. She's the only one in the tent being grown in a 5 gallon pot. She's a happy and healthy girl.

Sour Pineapple (Reg) - Annunaki Genetics - Flip Day 9

Another candidate for some super cropping if she doesn't slow down here soon. I would like to spread her out a bit for better penetration but there just isn't a lot of room in here to do that without blocking out some of the shorter girls. She's another big girl.

Killer A5 Haze (Clone) - ACE Seeds - Flip Day 9

Last up is the shorty of the bunch.....but don't let the short girl fool ya....she's pretty big around and gonna yield really well. She's being growing in an 8 gallon pot.

Awesome, Brother! :high-five::adore:

Thanks Krip!! Hope you had a great 4th brother!

Really looking nice! :bravo:

:thanks::passitleft:

Looking like the usual Stank jungle over here. I am really looking forward to seeing what you think of the sour pineapple.

Hey Yeti....thanks brother! I am excited for that one as well. It supposedly hit 7% terps according to the breeder so I am hoping for dank DANK DANK!!!

I have a cut of it going outdoors in a 20 gallon pot as well.....I want to be able to compare the same plant grown indoors and outdoors in the same soil. I excited to give her a whirl!! Hope your garden is staying happy, healthy and green brother!!

So apparently @Grandpa Tokin decided to send his dingos out my way to eat my outdoor girls this year.....so we had to go into defensive mode over the weekend. I went out one morning to take a look at the girls and I saw where they were nibbling on the lower. :thedoubletake::hmmmm:

That shit just won't do.....we we scrounged through the stuff we had laying around out here and through up a makeshift fence to keep them safe until they start flowering.

We got the fence put up on the 2nd of July.....and no new damage has been visible on any of the plants so it looks like the simple makeshift fence will do the job. Next year I will likely look at making something more permanent and perhaps a little bigger. Cheers everybody!!:yahoo::bongrip:

Things are decent around here bud! It is good to see things moving well for you guys again. I have seen videos of 6-7 foot tall plants being killed by mice in Cali! It looks like it was something bigger than that eating on your girls, just know even small rodents can do big damage!
Oh I know that the small things can get them....but I got trail cams around and I know whats creeping around my back doors when its dark. We have a LOT of predator birds here so smaller pests are few and far between in these highly wooded areas at least right here near the house.

Thats good the fence should be all you need then. It will be great to see how these all finish for you this fall. I always enjoy seeing a good outdoor grow come to completion.

Not a whole lot going on here that wasn't covered in the above response LOL.

I did snap a few pics today that I thought I would share. First one is a view from my "office". Not a bad view if I do say so myself. The girls in the big pots have definitely tied their roots to the new soil and are growing great. Even the Sour Cherries has outgrown the 'hot' amended soil that was burning her leaves.

I have to do a lot of clean up work on the Afghani (2nd from right in the big pots) and the Sour Cherries (Far right big pot) and will likely get to that at some point in the next day or two. I might get to it tomorrow morning before it gets too warm. After that I will be harvesting the indoor Afghani. She is ready.

Next bit of news for us is that we recently up-potted the Stank Genetics stuff in hopes of triggering them to show sex. Less than a week later and we have been rewarded.

Of the six that survived the original seven that were dropped (one KBTF - KushBerry ThunderFuck didn't make it....I accidentally snapped her when she was real young), we were able to identify sex on all six. We have 2 for 2 DTF that are girls, 1 for 1 KBTF was a girl, and 2 out of 3 Stankberry were girls. That will give us one of each for the 20 gallon pots and one extra DTF and Stankberry girl. I'm gonna throw one of them in the ground in the veggie garden. The other one will be sterilized and isolated until she's confirmed clean and then go back indoors and flipped in a few weeks.

Had to throw up a couple shots of this Jack Herer. She is hitting her stride and growing leaps and bounds in these warmer temps. I'm really digging the way this one is growing out....so damn sexy.

And what sort of update would this be if I didn't include a shot of the two lovebirds relaxing by me. He's just waiting for his chance!

Awesome garden and I love that Jack.
