Stanks Switch It Up In 2019

Nice round in flower you have going indoors.

Your fencing looks nice. Good to have extra stuff like that around. I couldn't find any fencing this time of year around here... its all sold out. So I sprayed my outdoor Patch with neem. Haven't seen a critter ever since. lol

You have some big girls going outside. They do love the sun and the rain.

Rain is in short supply this summer sadly. I should be careful what I wish for.

Your Durban looks stellar. Curled tips .... thats a good sign!

Thanks brother!!! The fencing ain't fancy and it ain't purdy but its doing what I need it to do and more importantly it was free since I had everything already.

Definitely got some large ladies outdoors....pics to come today since we had a nice rainfall last night and they all woke up happy as hell!! We supposed to get more rain today....but all we got here is heat and humidity. Man its muggy as all hell.

I'm pretty excited about the Durban!! I hope Sensi's version is good!

Lets take a peek at "The Deck" ladies and see how they are making out after their rain last night.

I started out with the intention of growing the 4 biggest girls on the deck. They have just about grown too big for the deck believe it or not. At least for me to be able to enjoy any of the "deck" while they are up there. I can see we are going to have to expand the size of "The Fence Group" next year. I can't even hardly get to my grill anymore....and that just won't do!!

Sour Cherries (Clone) - Crockett Family Farms

Up first we have the Sour Cherries. I spent about 2 hours yesterday giving her a hair cut before the rain. It opened her up a lot for much better air flow. She has really exploded with growth after her sluggish start after transplanting into the soil that got amended the same day I transplanted her. She didn't seem to like it much for about 2-3 weeks....but after she got settled, she took off.

I really need to try and spread her open a bit more but all the branches are really tough and hard to bend. I broke a couple that I tried to bend so I just kinda stopped. I will keep bending the tops outwards as much as possible.

Afghani (Clone) - Sensi Seeds

I know...she doesn't look like an indica but I assure you, its afghani. I spend an hour or two on her yesterday as well.....getting rid of a LOT of growth that just won't see the light of day. And I still have a lot more to trim off her!

Jack Herer (Clone) - Seedsman

This is the girl that went into un-amended used soil and she kinda hit a wall here recently. I had to start top dressing when I water her.....I am hoping that will get the energy of the soil back up to par. She has looked better in the 2-3 days since I did that, so its looking up. I will also be doing foliar sprays on all these ladies tonight.

8-Ball Kush (Fem) - Barneys Farm

I just up potted this one from her 2 gallon into a 5 gallon and I decided to leave her set outside on the deck for a few days. The main reason is I wanted to see the difference in the adjustment period for up-potting between the indoor girls and the outdoor girls. She definitely seems to be getting her roots under her far faster than the MOAB which was up potted at the same time and put back under the Next Light Core. She is on day 3 outdoors today and the growth is much more aggressive than the MOAB. She will be getting a sulfur burn and going back into the tent in a week or so.

Super Silver Haze (Fem) - Greenhouse Seeds

Saved the biggest for last! Really don't have the words to describe this monster. She is coming up on standing 7' tall and she is almost 5' wide. Every day there is just more visible growth and she isn't showing any signs of slowing down. She is the one that is taking up the most room on the deck. I thought about moving her down to the fence area but unless I get some muscle to help do it, she's likely gonna stay where she sits.

@Van Stank what if you took two 2x4s about 6 feet long, turn them so the narrow side is at the top and bottom. Then with that SSH put one of the 2x4 on each side under the lip of the blue pots. To be safe put a bungie on each side to hold the 2x4s in place tight against the pots. You on one end, Ms. Stank on the other, lift and move. Easy peasy! Six foot long boards will keep you out of the vegetation too.

It would probably work.....but if I need it moved that badly I will recruit the extra muscle just to be safe. Probably won't be the SSH though....I would probably move the Sour Cherries or Afghani.

Did a bit more bondage on one of the girls this evening. I saw someone, can't remember who it was, that was using bamboo to train their girls out flat. I thought about it and decided to modify what I saw and add to it a bit to build kind of a makeshift cage out of bamboo for her.

The girl getting put through the ringer is the Blue Dream from Humboldt Seeds. I am using the basic quadline technique up on the top two nodes while allowing the lowers to make their way to the canopy top.

Blue Dream (Fem) - Humboldt Seed Organization - Veg Day 54

And here you can see the comparison in size to the untrained Kushberry Thunderfuck.

We also snapped a couple other pics of the outdoor girls. We have a Sour Pineapple that came off the mom that's flowering out indoors in Flower Tent 2. I put this clone outside when she had one root showing on June 1st. She almost died off from wilting and the heat but she pulled through her 'root' finally hooked on the June 5th. I came outside that morning and she was sitting up looking decent. That was 37 days ago........

Since that time, she just exploded!! She has grown drastically different than the mom....with much bigger branching, leaves, and vigorous growth. She's being grown in lightly amended 2nd run soil which seems to be suiting her just peachy. Here she is 37 days later!

How's that for a turn around! :hmmmm: :Rasta: I didn't really do anything for training other than top her about a week ago. She doesn't seem like she is going to need any immediate support so I am just gonna let her ride for now.

Hope that you all are enjoying your weekend! Stay cool and stay hydrated....its hot as hell out there!

Wow your outdoor garden is beautiful! Its always hard to tell size from a picture and then I saw the side of the "bucket" that said 19 gallon TUB  :laughtwo:.
Hey Hunter! Thank you and welcome! Always nice to see a new face around these parts. Grab a seat and the buds are in the cabinet....help yourself!

Your plants are so nice they leave me speechless! :Rasta:

Way to stick it to that Blue Dream. :laughtwo:

I know that feeling brother!! I get it every morning when I wake up and go out to take a look at them. Thank you, I am pleased that they can do that same thing to others!! I watered the Deck girls last night and man did they all grow a couple inches overnight!

Way to stick it to that Blue Dream. :laughtwo:
:thedoubletake: :laugh::rofl:

Yeah buddy....I sticked her real good!!

I have a brand new axe and extra sharp chainsaw :thumb: I'll remain on standby:laugh::passitleft:
Don't think I won't hesitate to call you in oh about 2.5 months. I was looking at the branches on the SSH as I was watering her I though to myself "self, we ain't gonna be able to wash these branches in 5 gallon buckets, we gonna need to get some 30 gallon trash cans to be able to dip them and that still might not be deep enough! Might have to do the ol' dip n flip n dip"
