Stanks Switch It Up In 2019

Yes it’s quite normal. Spread in selfed line lets you look at the hole genetic bag of it and who knows what you can find.

Been doing a bit of work for the outdoor grow season. Got the first girl into her outdoor pot. This is a clone from the Jack Herer harvested back in December/January. I have been kinda slow growing her since she got into healthy soil and she was in a one gallon pot. Got her transplanted into a 19 gallon tub with holes drilled on the bottom and sides.

Next up will be a Sour Cherries clone that's in a 2 gallon smart pot. I was going to do her as well, but then I looked at the weather report and saw it was dropping down to freezing tonight. I probably wouldn't have transplanted the Jack had I seen the report prior to doing it. I'm probably gonna give her another day or two before I put her into the pot.

Also mixed up another batch of our Stank Soil and got it cooking outdoors under a tarp. Once this pandemic thing is subsided enough for me to head back out to the stores, I'll will pick up enough stuff to mix up our full winter's supply and get it cooking so we don't run into any winter cooking issues. This batch is only about 50 gallons. The plan will be to do at least 200 gallons on top of the 50 we just did.

We will give this 45 days before we start using any of this batch.

I think I am also going to grow the Labyrinth clone outdoors in another 19 gallon pot. Its getting really kinda big in the veg tent and I have a couple other plants I want to move into her place.....plus it will be nice to see how big it will get outdoors. I have another 200 gallons of soil that I can use for the outdoor grow. Now if we can just get some warmer temps up here and things will be great!

Hope you all had a great Cinco de Mayo....but stayed safe!!

Morning van :passitleft: Yeah cold morning for sure, frost on the car. Those ladies will be absolutely lovely you might need a orchard ladder:rofl: cheers brother
Yeah my phone said it was 29 when I woke up at 4:30 to pee. Wtf....i love the cold but I am really ready for actual spring to get here.

Jack looked a little pissed this morning lol.

Hi van and ms stank

Lurking in the background around here on and off and excited to see you gearing up for some outdoor grows. Do you have an inground plot or raised bed? Or is it all going to be in pots (sorry if you’ve already said - i dont keep up in here)? Are you selling your soil recipe yet? LOL! I’m studying water-only soil recipes over the next few months and I love yours! (Damn blogs :laughtwo: ).

Hey Amy, great to see you!

We are already growing outdoors here. I am about a week into it on two plants and an afghani clone in a 5 gallon pot will be getting transplanted into the 20 gallon pot tomorrow. Most of the outdoor this year will be in 20 gallon pots....maybe a 50 for one, but thats as big as we will go this year. I am also going to be putting a couple plants directly into our veggie garden soil just to see how it does with no size limit. We had several volunteers this year......apparently one of our girls was very preggers last fall and dropped some seeds. I had a total of 8 that sprouted around my deck so far this year LOL.

LOL, no intention of charging for the soil recipe....anyone who wants it can have it. I wish the blog still worked. If you would like it, let me know and I will post it again here.

Quick update

Been kind of quiet here the last week. I have been doing a lot of prep for the upcoming garden season as well as doing a lot of transplanting on stuff we have going here. Finally had the Sensi Seeds Durban show its naughty bits.....took it about 85 days but she showed a hair. Got her transplanted into a 5 gallon pot. Got a Sour Cherries transplanted into a
7 gallon and it will be flipped sometime in the next two weeks. Also up potted a Labyrinth clone into a 5 gallon and an Alien OG into a 5 gallon. Both of those will likely be flipped in the next two weeks as well.

Did another round of clone today as well....didn't get them all taken but we got enough done that I will finish the rest up tomorrow.

Smoke a tester of the GDP that we almost culled several times. Very impressed with the quality and am looking forward to growing one in some healthy soil. They two GDP will come down this week, with one coming down tonight and the other later this week (I think it can use a few days still).

Took a couple shots of the Afghani we have in flower a few days ago but haven't gotten around to posting the yet. She looks like she is finishing up a bit faster than her mom did and she seems to be a bit more smelly! Buds also seem to be denser relative to the time line as well. These were from roughly day 30 of flower. More pics to come tomorrow.

no intention of charging
 Well it’s obviously gold so that’s deeply appreciated. Yes please I would like the recipe! I don’t yet know what route my own soil building will take once i get back to it but I’m studying recipes and other resources in the meantime.

20 gallon pots....maybe a 50 for one
:thumb: I’ll be doing my best to keep up this time!

Will likely be easier to keep up....things move a lot slower around these parts these days! Though I imagine things will be speeding up a little here as I start flipping things LOL.

I will post the recipe after I transfer it from my chicken scratch notebook into something legible LOL. I have been meaning to copy it to a digital format since the Blogs will likely never make the transition....and this will give me the kick in the pants I have been needing!

So I am currently "threadless" and have nowhere to share photos unless I slip a couple in other people's journals...LOL Awhile back I reversed a Grandpa Glue plant and sprinkled some of her pollen on a clone of the Purple Punch I was running at the time. I popped one of these seeds about 6 weeks ago and just up-potted and flipped her about 5 days ago. I don't think she will be a big stretching plant as neither of her parents were. I can definitely see her perking up under the QB lighting. Here are a couple photos I snapped today. I think she's going to be a good one. Love her structure. She has really nice color too even though in the QB lighting she's quite light in color.

As always, feel free to share anytime Beez. Gorgeous lady there!

Durban (Reg) - Sensi Seeds - Veg Day 78

Here is the first peak at our newest 'girl'. We had been waiting for it to show sex for about 30 days or so and we finally caught a peek of a hair through the scope. She had been growing in about a half gallon pot for the entire time (which probably caused a bit of a delay in her showing sex) but just got up potted to a 5 gallon pot 2 days ago.

I am really digging her structure and think we will let her grow out naturally, no topping. I don't do it often but she is stout and I want to see how she turns out au-natural!! :ganjamon: She does need a bit of a hair cut though!

Sour Pineapple (Reg) - Annunaki Genetics - Veg Day 79

Up next we have one from a very underrated breeder out there. If you are looking for any new strains to try, give them a whirl. This little lady was started at the tail end of the bad soil run (along with the Durban above) but she has taken off since we got her into the 2 gallon pot. I'm not in any rush to move her into the flower tent so I will give her another month or so. I did take a couple clones off her today though :p . I am also digging the structure on this lady!

Nug Break

Decided I needed a bowl after taking those pics and snapped a couple of the GDP tester I just chopped about 5 days ago. She perdy ain't she!:cheesygrinsmiley::love:

She smoked just as nicely....can't wait to get some in a jar with a bit of a cure on it. Its potent evening smoke....not a knockout artist like the Afghani....but a sneaky indica that will get ya when you aren't paying attention!

Mystery Plant - Unknown Genetics - Veg Day unknown

Here is a mystery lady we have going. Great structure on her and kinda curious to see how she flowers out. Very healthy and will be getting flipped on Friday :D

Outdoor Afghani (Clone) - Sensi Seeds

Here are a few pics of the next girl that will be going into the 20 gallon pot outdoors. She was put outdoors yesterday but will be getting up potted tomorrow. She's already got a LOT of branching and tops so I expect good things from this lady. I took a couple clones off her yesterday before I set her outdoors.

Cheers! I hope everyone is hanging in there and doing well!
