Mmmm the smell of bacon being COOKED...you said you usta eat raw bacon lol I may hafta try it raw that kinda sounds good right now lol
Johnny.....put down the packaged bacon! Go pick up a big nug of whatever you have and smoke it instead LOL!!!
 
Well I seem to be having some issues with my soil pH, but aside from that.....its doing ok. I figure a couple more batches and it will be good LOL. Especially when used in conjunction with the Vermi-compost soil.

As for the breeder.....it was from Greenhouse via Seedsman

Yep - it’s all about worms!! :) I finally have a little worm thing going here. It’s been the main thing missing for me. Might still have to buy some castings though. Just 2 of us - takes a long time to get castings!

So anyone on that JH group grow growing JH from CropKing? Do you know?

Would love to...you know where I am ....summer is nuts, Oct/Nov is a good time. We'll see where the Stankasaurus (TM:laugh:) is at that point...maybe you can help in the harvest.

I know that @flytier had seeds from CKS. I think @Guy Cavallero did as well....but his didn't germinate if I remember correctly. Swing by over there to follow along.....good bunch of dudes and gals over there.
 
That was over 50 years ago and I'm still alive!

50 years ago you could get away with eating a few pieces of bacon raw. Lord only knows the $(#_# in mass produced pork these days. Only way to know for sure is to grow your own.

Depends...we had it until last week of Oct last year.

They do a lot of "Harvest" celebrations up here that time of year...maybe we can do our own!

I have the sweetest deal ever. I pick up the "expired" food from our local grocer 5 days a week. The stuff is nicer than what's in our fridge because it was for sale the day before (and our fridge lettuce can look like a lab experiment). I get produce, dairy, and bread and the pigs FEAST. They literally eat better than 90% of Americans...no doubt. They have plenty of sun, field, water...they have the LIFE. As we say, they only have one bad day....
