White Widow Veg Day 4
Rolling right along with this girl. She isn't quite as fast of an early grower as some of the previous strains but she looks good. Roots are getting down into the Stank Soil so I expect her to grow when she is ready. Not a lot to talk about when they are this age!
Hey Flash, thanks for asking that. I know I posted it at the beginning of the journal but I know sometimes we have some new viewers that might not have started back then.
I use the following counting system for my grow. I start a week of seedling stage starting when it breaks the soil (i.e. seedling day 1 through seedling day 7). At day 7, my plants graduate from seedling stage into Veg. So Day 4 of Veg will be 4 days + the 7 days as a seedling which is really day 11 from seed. I start my seedlings under a T5 and about day 5 I start transitioning them out into the tent under the LED.
I also track flower in terms of two dates. I track from flip and from hairs. So you will see my flower updates say something like "Flip day 20, 10 days with hairs".
If the Northern Lights grows the way I want it to, I am going to try it with her (I need to keep her in veg for a while so I figure the staircasing would be a good way to do it). The Problem with this is that the plant does something different and it sparks a different idea. The NL has 10 tops now that I am considering topping for 20 mains plus any side branching. Were you going to do a staircase training on one of these? I can't recall which one it was now.
I found a pic of one you did last grow and it was a great structure so I wanted to watch it happen in real life! I hear ya with plants having a mind of their own, like unruly children sometimes . And when that light bulb goes on, make sure it's in the veg tent .If the Northern Lights grows the way I want it to, I am going to try it with her (I need to keep her in veg for a while so I figure the staircasing would be a good way to do it). I might have to plant an ATF seed and use it for the Staircasing....it generally has a great structure for it. Its tough Shed.....I get a plan in mind and then something else pops up or the plant starts growing differently and a light bulb goes on and you get a different idea.
That was on the ATF and after monster cropping. I think ATF is a perfect strain for that type of training. Hey, maybe I will pop a DTF seed and see what it does and try a Staircase on that one.I found a pic of one you did last grow and it was a great structure so I wanted to watch it happen in real life! I am going to pretend that I didn't read this LOL.for all the seed junkies, over on shn, duke diamond has opened his vault as he is trying to raise money to help his mother who has alzheimers... Theres a big post on instagram(i dont have instagram. Just use the google to keep tabs on the breeders i like) some really cool genetics are being sold and some rare ones at auction... And goes to a good cause

Be careful with horse manure...a lot of owners use meds and it transfers direct into the manure. So ask them. I get horse manure from my neighbors and I let it sit for 2-3 years.I need to find more farmer friends apparently hey wait I think I might know one nice
Beautiful work VS! So many tops on that plant and it's still growing. USA USA!Jack Herer Auto Day 49
Haven't posted any pics of her in a while so I figured we were overdue. She is stretching a little, not much though. I keep plucking off 3 or 4 fan leaves every day and she keeps producing more tops. I have a feeling she is going to yield pretty good.....at least I hope so!
She got a big drink of ACT last night as well.....to the point of run off. Her run off was coming out in the 7.4 range as well. Would love to see how she would be doing if that pH was a bit closer to what I want. Certainly can't complain with her!
