Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

I gave a buddy at work 5 Stankberry beans to run outside this season. He was really excited by the genetics, I just hope we have enough time here for them to finish. I made him promise to clone any females for me. I'm going to drop a couple more here soon, hoping for a stinky blueberry girl.
Well I was down in the garden earlier.....and I was playing with the two Stankberry girls and the ATF girl. It seems like I have one Stankberry throwing the ATF scents and one throwing that beautiful blueberry muffin smell. I got the wiff of the Blueberry one and it made me all warm and tingly thinking about smoking her. I have a clone of her I took around day 20 of flower that is revegging right now.....If its like the one you tried....I will send you one!

Happy paddy's day all!!! Smoke green wear green and drink a green beer if thats your thing?

ATF (SG) Flip Day 42

Been a while for updates on this wild thing. She is rolling along nicely. I am getting a few of the lower leaves starting to fade so she is starting to do her thing. Gave her 2 gallons of water yesterday with a bit of fish emulsion fertilizer in it. My reason for doing that is two fold....its a longer flowering sativa (generally 11+ weeks with 13 not out of the question) so I am giving the soil a bit of a boost for the soil food web and to give her a bit more silica. I use them together generally. This was likely my last dose of silica for any of the girls.

She is really starting to take on that ATF smell I am used to. I know some people have described sweet for ATF but I get an earthy, musky, dank smell to all the ones I grow. Its got a very distinct smell I would recognize anywhere.

I staked some of her branches to some bamboo poles as they were starting to droop. She is frosting up nicely and I expect to see her start bulking more on her buds here soon. She isn't under the best lighting due to height restrictions so I have her setting on the outter limits of the Spydrx and I just turn her a quarter turn every day so different lowers get their chance under the good light. Next one I grow will be kept manageable so I can keep her under the light the whole time.

HAH im not alone with that issue hehe :thumb:

I got quite few pages behind this week, Van. Glad I wasn’t too lazy to read them all! Very impressive my friend. Can’t wait to get these Stank Genetics going myself!

No....its my punishment for refusing to keep the wenches in line. Normally I like good order and discipline but I wanted to see what the girls were going to do if let go. Lesson learned LOL. Neither the ATF nor the Stankberry strains are ones you want to allow any wiggle room if you have height restrictions.

I want to grow one outdoors this year and just let them go! Do what ever is in them.

Northern Lights 1.2.1 Flip Day 20

Here is the first posting of this girl in the journal. I grew her slow as I could for as long as I could in her smaller pots due to space restrictions and what not in the delays with getting the big tent up. She has been just like her mom, extremely easy to grow....healthy the entire grow and no support will be needed with her.

She was up potted to a 7 gallon pot from her root bound 2 gallon pot about 10 days before flip. I gave her a chance to get her new roots under her a bit before moving her into the big tent. This is about the point that I normally top dress in some stuff to give the soil an extra boost over the next couple weeks (she's been in the new pot 30 days at this point). That will likely be it for the rest of this grow aside from water only.

Every time I grow this line, I am reminded of why I want to do a couple crosses with her. Her structure and yields are fantastic. She is a tank.

Stankberry #2 Flip Day 42

Been a while since I did an update on these kids. Same story for them in regards to the lighting. They are both too tall to slide fully under the Spydrx so I keep the mains just outside the Spydrx and turn quarter to half turns every day and then swap days for the mains under the Perfect Sun Dwarf Star.

Stankberry #2 is really starting to hit its stride in the smell department. Its definitely similar to the last Stankberry girl. Got some nice strong sniff of Blueberry muffins with trails of anise. I didn't get the anise scent until late into cure but I smell the undertones of it in her.

She got 1.25 gallons of water yesterday. This one is bulking up much faster than the other. I may bend her mains over just enough to be able to slide her all the way under the light except for one really tall cola. She is going to have a while to go before she's ready. I figure she won't be done before day 70 because of her lack of light issues. Thats ok, We will take what we get and love it!

Stankberry #3 Flip Day 42

Here's the other kid. Tough to get good pics of the tall girls in the tent. Lighting off to the side is horrible and they are too big to be bringing in and out of the tent. They won't leave until its on a platter.

She got a gallon and half of water yesterday. I don't think she is drinking as fast as #2, but she also isn't stacking as hard or fast either. Both are developing buds slower than most of the plants that are under the Spydrx. I may see what I can do to fit more of her under there at some point this week.

I am not getting a berry smell off this one yet....but I am not getting anything pronounced off her yet. Hoping she will lean towards berry.

I think I'm in love with #3 - got a lil chubby there.

... sumpin about those slim leaf blades with the dusting of trichs all down the edges ... love the thin ones that sparkle.

That's very nice! :bravo:

She is certainly displaying the ATF side of her lineage. Ms Stank and I were just commenting on how nicely she is frosting up. I haven't had an ATF leaning pheno of the strain yet so I am excited to see what it might hold. That male had some good potency in him.

This Stankberry looks almost like a wild sativa. Definitely needs to be trained next time for better height control.

That would be a lot easier than looking myself :p

Its tough to control that F1 vigor honestly. Couple that with being curious how they grow if you don't do much training on them and throw in an extra 30+ days of delays in moving into the house before we flipped them and its very easy to see how they got out of control.
