Stanks Go Perpetual In 2018!

Yeah I was kind of waiting to see what she was showing me for a shape. She took a while to let me know what she wanted to do. I think she's gonna be pretty big by the time I flip her. But hell she will have been vegging for over 110 days by then LOL.

Tangie x Ghost Train Haze Clone Flip Day 14, Day 4 With Hairs

She is stretching like crazy!! The top shoot is about 7 inches from the light so will be needing to do some super cropping here real soon. Gave her a gallon of rain water and she sucked it up like nothing. She is definitely one of the most stretchy strains I have grown. Glad to get to see her stretch once before I make feminized seeds from her clone.

I will need to pick up a few more bamboo poles for supporting these tops. They are going to struggle to support themselves. Very interested in seeing how her buds start forming. I love seeing new strains do something a bit different from what I am used to!

looking good van! The ghost train might need more than just a few bamboos! She has got legs! BCP has recovered nicely!

Very smart. Once i was observing from my treestand two coons working together to grab ears of corn off corn stalks in a corn field.
One would wait on the ground, the other climbed the corn stalk and hang off it until the stalk bent enough for the coon on the ground to grab it and steal the corn.

If population not kept in check, they can and will decimate the wild turkey population. Learned that the hard way. They kill poults and destroy every nest they come across. It took years but after I started keeping the population in check (somewhat), my wild turkey population has is thriving agsin..

that is very interesting about the turkeys, we have a major turkey over population up here in Ontario... Flocks... herds.... Whatever you call a group of turkeys, easily 20-200 depending where you are its ridiculous, I didn't realize coons did that much damage to them... We had him in a dog crate and it took 24hrs and he had got out lol came home from work and he was hanging from the curtains coo-ing at me lol he has gone to a rehab center now, they won't take them if they're bottle feeding.... Our cattle dog was depressed for two days and wouldn't leave the side of the crate lol he loved him.

would have long past gone ape shit crazy if I didn't have this outlet.

being about the plants and people and try not to drag it down with my issues. I try to be positive if at all possible.
people living with pain is still people. I notice lots of folks talk about the little things they have to do to get around it and still be a farmer and there’s so much mutual support here around that. It Helps to take me out of “pain strain” a bit when others share what’s happening for them - but same as you Van, I try to mostly keep it about the plants. Is the best focus! Lots of folks dealing with it makes for lots of mutual support hey :). And ditto on the site, I know my bad pain days are often eased by the visual delights of the stank gardens. Glad you’re in that zone right now actually :Namaste:

White Widow Main-Line Flip Day 45, Day 35 With Hairs

Not sure what to think about this girl. Was initially very pleased with her but my god her buds are so fluffy and airy its crazy. No denseness at all. I realize that the strain is listed as 8-10 weeks flowering but man these are slow to fill out. If its a long flowering pheno, then I will hold out hope she will firm up (hopefully).....but she is definitely slow in filling in! I also have to say that I have been expecting a lot more frost from this strain. I expected to see more like the Blue Dream or the Hindu Kush. I will stay positive for the time being. She has to get a lot better on the tail end for me to be happy.

Gave her another gallon and a half of water today. She is drinking like crazy now. The leaves are starting to fade quickly so she's eating herself. Saw a few fungus gnats flying around the top of her soil. Threw a couple sticky traps on there. Looks like the last top dressing I gave her seems to have attracted a crowd. Will deal with them tomorrow.

Don't be fooled by the pictures, the colas might look nice and fat but they are nothing but air, hair and leaves at this point.

And here she is next to the Tangie.....both in their normal tent position.

And an under carriage shot...

Hi Van...interesting bud! Was wondering if you were gonna do anything about that way too early fade on the WW?
She still has many weeks left and has just begun to really fill out. Also , with her neighbor...why did you let her get all uneven during a long veg. The SCing you need to do is not called that , at this stage bud...it's called oh fuck , i made a mistake and let her get too tall . SCing is done early , and often in early veg. to maintain and correct uneven canopies while encouraging lower growth and vigor. Cheers.

Hindu Kush Flip Day 41, Day 31 With Hairs

And the last update is Ms Stanks supahstah! This thing is really starting to plump up and frost up like mad. We are getting a lot more of the cola lean happening which is a good thing. She got about a gallon and a half of water this morning. She is really smelling nice and sweet, I just can't put a specific scent to it. I think she is going to yield pretty well and we shouldn't have any issues with hitting the 5 zip goal with her. Sorry for the overkill on the bud shots but once I move her to get pics, I take a bunch.

That finishes up the veg tent update. We have the Northern Lights clone that Ms Stank is crossing with the Harlequin, but we won't do an update on her for a couple more days.

Frost warning.......

Her neighbor is one that wasn't really trained at all. She had such a different structure from everything else I had grown I just let her go to see how she grows and I wanted to see just how much she stretched. It was a case of on over crowded laziness. I am not worried.....the light I use is great for uneven canopy. The only reason I would SC or bend (you know I am not one to care about a word) at this point is cause I don't have any more height, but either way I don't worry about it brother. She ain't a POTM plant candidate so she gets minimum attention that will keep her from getting fried.

No, not going to do anything about the fade. All my plants fade and I don't mind, its all part of growing in my LOS. They just eat themselves near the end. I don't add anything after her final top dressing which was about 2 weeks ago. Just gonna grab some pop corn and watch her turn colors!

Well I don't know about neighbors, we keep to ourselves, but I have happy friends. Had another friend give me the endorsement on the Stankberry. He swung by and wanted more of it! Its favored over everything else I have grown so far by just about everyone who has tried it. The only one that I can't say endorsed it is because he says it just puts him out in 10-15 minutes. Says anything with Blueberry does that.

The Northern Lights is a killer plant too. She is a potent indica for sure. I haven't let many friends have any of this one yet. Here is the smoke report the one guy gave for his test nug of NL....

"Rich Two toned greenery on the buds - combo light and dark is always nice to see, maybe its a texture thing. Trichomes everywhere! Looks covered in jewels. Not as sticky as I would have thought, but I let it sit out for 2 days so maybe thats the reason.

Smells sweet and spicy. Hint of woodsy earth, instant thought is how tasty a blend with either Super Skunk or Lemon Haze would be.

Taste of pine - earthy citrus. Sweet and spicy very similar to its smell. Clean and crisp smoke. Not overwhelming but definitely a strong presence.

Instant and total body and mind relaxation. Within minutes at most. Definitely puts a stop to whatever I was doing and says sit right here and relax. It's very good. One of my favorite indicas"

I love having smart friends that can write good smoke reports! LOL
