i think i can hear her saying "happy 420 everyone" lol looks awesome!
:goodjob:
She is definitely a very happy plant!! I just want the Jack to look like that one time! Damn stubborn wench!

Ah yes, the ever so joyous 420 holiday! Happy 420 to all my 420 friends and family! Please feel free to share the strains that might be on the docket.

I have a bunch of stuff I need to get done today, so I am thinking about starting it off in a little while with a puff or two of Durban Poison.

Happy 420 Van, I’m currently on my 4th doob of the morning. This one is rolled up with some holy grail Kush!

Hopefully you can complete all of your tasks before you get too stoned lol

Thank CK.....I had a few hits of Durban a bit ago, trying to get stuff done before company arrives. LOL, think I should have stopped one hit sooner. But I will get it done....just a little slower than I intended LOL.

Have I said lately how much I despise the idea of attending college.

I took an online course a year ago (for free) and it was excellent. You progress at your own speed, take tests, and your final "paper" gets reviewed by peers in the course. Both my wife and I (college graduates) are encouraging our kids to do anything BUT go to college....they can if they want, but with the inter web you can do so much more for basically no $ (and they can use their college money for something practical).

You definitely don't want it in your house! I have mine all laid out in rows on the GH floor...

Maybe you guys jump on Craigslist and see if anyone is selling an old clothes dryer that still works and toss the seaweed in that and put it on delicate and dry that stuff out.

I am a fan of cheap and easy...all I need to do is wait and the seaweed will give up the ghost.

Well, the GH under the right conditions IS like a low temp oven...We just haven't had much sun in the last week (rain and "wintry mix") every day...and now with the chicks in there I can't let the heat crank up too high...but I am also in no rush since the seaweed will be for the 45 gallon pots which I won't need for another month. Ventilation and heat will dry anything (over time) so I am just watching and waiting at this point.
Years ago Driving through Nova Scotia I saw folks put seaweed all over their lawns to dry. Thought it was odd at the time but here we are. If the sun ever comes out for a while, thats an old way.

I'm ignoring it....that's the surest way it will be done. I have time...:)

This whole thing about using only female genes to produce seeds is really only cause fems have taken over the market, so nobody wants to deal with males anymore. And you can actually stabilise a selfed line by continuous selfing of subsequent generations. But there are very few stabilised, truly homozygous lines left in general. Everything else needs to be inbred for 8 generations on average to be stabilised. The truth is nobody wants to do it, cause it's time-consuming and there's no money in it... so far, but there will be when prohibition lets go more. It's the only way to grow it industrial fashion like hemp if we want to limit the carbon footprint, lower pesticide use and stop worrying about pathogens like mould. The cost of keeping the clones in huge numbers will be figured in the end and solved this way IMO, cause there are very few crops, where cuttings are used like grapevine, but it's perennial and growing it from seed is slow. Annual crops are sown for a reason. It's cheap, quick and reliable. Risk of spreading any plant infection is very low and you don't have to worry that your operation is gonna be finished if your clones are wiped out by whatever disaster and the only thing you can do afterwards is to replace them cause it was a clone-only strain :smokin:

if you have the opportunity you should take it van! If i knew back then what i know now, i wouldnt have wasted 4 years of my life at two different schools in programs that made me feel dumber lol.. Wish i had known about my plant love, id have taken every botany/greenhouse/genetics course i could. Lol too far gone now... Maybe in a decade or two i can go back.

couldnt agree more with this, another good example of a breeder that does this is dominion seed co... Brothers grimm was really good about it too.. But theyre using more and more feminized stuff and thats just not my cup of tea...they have their place but I prefer regs, even if i have to search through them.
I have heard a lot of people complain about having issues with the newer brothers grimm gear. The C99 has been having a lot of hermies pop up. Mass Medical Strains grew out a pack and only had one female not sack up on them. I hear good things about Dominion though. I hear he used to breed for someone else at one point. Cant recall who at the moment.

Happy 420 everyone! Van you really need to take the opportunity of the GI bill and go back to school, you would be good at it.
Hey Jax, thanks for swinging by today! I appreciate the kind words and hope you enjoy your 420 day as well!

I have a big enough yard that I can just lay it out. Hell I can drap it all over the the sides of my garden fence and let the sun do it for free.

That was only on his fems?
I have a pack of his current c99 reg.
