so off with her head ha skunk will you give a smoke report she sure was pretty ill bet your ready but you hate to see her go!:goodjob:

I'm pragmatic. By the time a run is over, I'm glad as fuck to have it done. Each session has its' ups & downs, & though it's always gratifying to watch the process I'm always glad to put a run to bed.
Quality doesn't really vary over cycles, it's consistently very good. I mean, nearing 30 years in, if quality control was an issue then I wouldn't be here, I shouldn't think.
And yeah, ofc plants act up, equipment fails, nature shits down your neck, & simply, errors do happen from time to time. It's always interesting, for sure.

i can see why they call it wedding cake its frosted didn't you say a while back you were growing this for someone else and that it wasn't that potent but are you going keep a taster off her?:cheesygrinsmiley:

The cake is grown by request, yes.
And it's being run @ least 1x more. Then back to running D & Sour, primarily.
Idk if the cake is good smoke, or not. We'll see soon. .

Awesome plants Skunk. Which Sour are u running. I've been looking for a killer sour. I'm aware of ECSD but what diesel strains are you all favorites??

Hiya J!
Thanks for the kind words!.
Asking me, "which" Sour I'm running, guarantees this answer: There is only one, original, Sour Diesel.
The name "East Coast Sour Diesel" was a name given the original Sour Diesel clone many years ago, mainly to poke fun at some Left Coast assholes claiming that Sour Diesel somehow magically originated in California. "ECSD" refers to the original clone. Which, by the way, isn't the "AJ Sour Diesel" that AJ keeps trying (quite pathetically imo) to write into the history books. Clearly, and really, quite sadly, as a way to cash in. That guy, is so laughably full of shit, it makes me smile, reading his absurdist, fantastical takes.
In the early days of drug cultivar cannabis breeding, specifically Northern California, "skunk", "cat piss" and "sour" were NOT considered favorable traits. Pine, fruits, etc., were the targeted traits in breeding. And Sam (google "Sam the Skunk man") bred out of Skunk #1, the "roadkill skunk" leaving a "sweet" (not skunk-y) Skunk #1, which is what most of you know today. This quick post is an extreme(!!) distillation of the events if interested a search engine should get you there.
And to answer your question, I grow ECSD. .

Chemdog D

Also,
HSO's "Sour", isn't.
Neither is their "Chemdog".
Cr*p King? ..
Try THSeeds "Sage & Sour" as Adam @ TH used the real clone and S&S is some really nice kit.

I had fine luck SSSDH with just 12/12, but I use spectrum to signal as well, changing from white-blue to white and orange. I like Conrad's answer too, that might help keep them flowering strong. The SSH seem to be leggy already from seed, so I'll top her early, third node, pull the first, work from the second, make four tops, Veg, prune, and flip. :)

Stunning shots Skunk! D is covered, and Cake is seriously frosty.
The gimp is in for some sticky fingahs. :thumb:
