Staker's 2017: SSSDH, Killer Purps, Dolato, Candyland & Breeder's Test Grows

For flowering 11/13 or 10/14.

well were close on that one i was already planning on 11/13 but i was thinking later in flowering switching to 10/14 after the lsc,tc and bj are done then i will have the sssdh and the m2 to finish btw i have 4 showing female and its the m2s all 4 of them, and I'm not sure but its likely that the 2 larger sssdh are males just need a few more days but I'm pretty sure of it,the lsc and tc aren't showing anything!:cheesygrinsmiley:

I had fine luck SSSDH with just 12/12, but I use spectrum to signal as well, changing from white-blue to white and orange. I like Conrad's answer too, that might help keep them flowering strong. The SSH seem to be leggy already from seed, so I'll top her early, third node, pull the first, work from the second, make four tops, Veg, prune, and flip. :)

Stunning shots Skunk! D is covered, and Cake is seriously frosty.
The gimp is in for some sticky fingahs. :thumb:

So easy from the phone, the D shifting gears. I took brix and she was a little over 20, not quite 21. Strong genetics, she’s exploding. Love ❤️

She's got about 1250w above her, which is more than I'm used to in this space. Bigger is better in this case :thumb:

hey cs the ds look good thriving,i did some tea last night sl 100,radiant green, some molasses, rock dust and cal mag man what a difference they are all reaching even those sssdh its almost confirmed 2 males 1 female at least ill have one to grow its the shorter one!:cheesygrinsmiley:

Popping in to say high brother. Looking fantastic up in here.

Dusty! High brother cool to see you kicking about. You say the nicest things . thanks man. Hope you're still killing inside, the resin was looking

Hard to follow those pic Skunk, they all look top plants man, some sweet buds. Hope they come in easy for you, despite the shitty weather.

I picked up those grow glasses and they work pretty well. Much better view of the plants.

Hard to believe the change day to day, she's in hard stretch, I love this look. Nice bushes in the making. Canopy temps around 68 to 82-84, at 1250w in the 4x4 lol. It's actually 55" square. RH swings still but is favorable, so expectations are high.

STSD smells ripe in veg oh la la got a nice nose to it, she got a 7g and is getting a flip soon. Here we go, and some on deck. ❤️

Nice and healthy CS, but you know that already. You going to push the nutes more in flower this time?

I've gone back and forth with that. I'm not looking for yield, just health and quality....so

The 707 looks like she could go the whole way on water, sugar and bennies. She had a couple of shots of salt in Veg, but none in flower so far. She's dark green, and is building some nice golfballs, so I'm not rocking the boat. She might get one or two .8ec feeds, but maybe not. Thinking of also trying just a bit of RAW P and Raw K, so no Ca/Mg or N.

The D, looks hungry all the time, but she greens up after a while, which is confusing. It's likely she will get some feed to boost her up.

My last two runs of SSD. The 3-feed plant came out better than the no-feed plant. They were close on smell and taste, but the effect was better on 'fed' plant. By fed, think 4ml/g x 3, so 12ml of juice, lifetime total. From what I've seen so far D is prob going to need a feed now, and then at wk 3, and 5, and 7, so likely (4) .8ec to 1.0ec feeds. I doubt the STSD will need much if anything like the 707s, and if so, just some P&K. :thumb:

I still have a heavy hand when it comes to nutes, especially in flower. The smoke test next week will be interesting. Everything looks good, but that is not the true test.

There is tons of truth in that. The truth is always in the smoke. Looks can be a guide, but looks don't equate to quality of effect. Just like picking any produce, it's just a guess at what's really inside. Like that bland tasting, but super fresh looking produce at every store, there's some great looking disappointments out there. I know, I've grown more than a couple.

On heavy hands, that can go a couple of ways imo. I know that I prefer the less is more approach. :thumb: Well, except when weighing in at the end. ;)

How did you evolve into the less is more approach? I assume, over time, you noticed that the less nutes you use the better it tastes?

Simplicity is King .

I used to use the local knockoff of GHE's 3 part nutrients. Had fantastic results with that over the years, and then it all went for a ball of shit. I simply could not control my pH on the last run. It was all over the place, and the plants obviously suffered because of it. Bare in mind, I had used the same product for about 4 years at that point. That is when I switched to organic. I see GHE is now finally back in the country. Might give that a run soon.
