Beast,

I snuck on this train awhile ago, and have been lurking as I'm curious what the Goliath Lights can do because I may soon be in the market. Lots of luck on this grow! I know your going to knock it outta the park...can't wait to see the finished product. :Namaste:

I've never grown. Everything I know is from watching the pros here.

As someone who is totally green I have a few questions:

What light cycle are you using for the autos? 16/8 start to finish?

What grow medium are you using?

Finally, I don't understand the LST you posted above after topping. You tied your girl down for 6 hours, and then untied her? This does what, and how often do you do this? I believe other journals I've seen people leave them tied down...no?

I want to make sure I'm understanding the LST process correctly that your employing because what you do clearly works as evidenced by your journals.:thanks:

Infinate welcome and i use 18/6 from start to finish on autos.and yes i have began lst and there has been no untieing of anything.she is strapped down.tied her down more today.if u were to untie the plant then this would not be lst.so ur right.;) good job;)

I think the tying and untying is for ponytailing . Tying up the fan leaves for part of the day to allow light to get to lower nodes.

Drive by, I see ya'll talking about yield from auto's. I grew out some of the first 'lowriders' on the market and yield was like 4-7 grams of crap pot. The auto gene is about as good to smoke as hemp is. Well was. Auto's come along ways fast. Quality and quantity. But if you really want to try to tame a auto, try one of the 'Super Autos'. You talk about LSTing and fluxing etc, these wood test your skill indoors. They have a flowering time of 120 days and the yield can be over 2 lb's per plant. That long a flowering time doesn't save alot over a standard photo plant, except it has a predictable finish time. You take a place like Oregon, not the dry southeast part of the state, but the rain soaked Portland area, you have to harvest by the first of Oct. You can count of them rains. But with a 120 flower cycle you can time it to come in Sept 1st and have it in full bud during the sunniest time of the year. And being a auto she won't go into a false flowering from planting outside to early. I grew one as a test plant this year. All the learning I did, even battled them broad mites. I made mistakes on pot size and up potted like 3 times till I hit 35 gallon pots. Next year I plan on doing afew outside, in 50 gallon pots for outdoors. Mine this year yielded about 1 1/2 lbs, and went 10'+. I have afew pics but isn't a good clear one;

Next year I'll be ready for the size. They are from Flash Seed's super autos line. That is Muay Thai, I made alot of mistakes growing that one so I hope for better next year. I brang in some broad mites from some clones that nearly wiped me out, but she survived.
Looking forward to seeing what that monster ass light puts out. GL and Keepem Green
